One of the more distinctive horror games to be released in the past few years, Mundaun tells childhood stories with an adult filter, a foreign narrative in a universal core, and hosts gameplay that, while occasionally obtuse, is a hop, skip, and a jump away from other titles in the same vein.

Mundaun is one of the most unique and beautiful horror games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. If you’re a fan of slow-paced and tension-filled horror games like Amnesia, you absolutely shouldn’t sleep on this one. A true labour of love, Mundaun is one which will stick with you for years to come.

Mundaun on Xbox Series X|S is extremely suspenseful, coming complete with an intriguing and beguiling storyline that will take you five hours or so to complete. The visuals are amazing, as is the soundtrack. It's a game that has a complete artistic vibe that generates class.

Horror and originality within survival horror meet to give life to Mundaun, a true indie gem of the genre that is well worth trying.

Fun little indie horror. The art style is something I have never seen. It is all hand drawn, this can lead to absolutely beautiful scenery butFun little indie horror. The art style is something I have never seen. It is all hand drawn, this can lead to absolutely beautiful scenery but also some very ugly aspects as well (faces for one). The game is also all sepia, I am guessing with the hand drawn style adding color would hurt the horror atmosphere. The story is creepy and a little out there. Puzzles are usually pretty simple but a few can be confusing since there is little direction given in this game. But I would recommend this game for indie/horror lovers. Full Review »
