    I'm really enjoying the game, I keep coming back to it. I read it is a long game, normally that discourages me but this time I'm only happy because I can enjoy this game even longer!

    Guardians of the Galaxy is a wild ride with a gripping story, fun gameplay, and great music.

    The story deserved all the awards it won, the theme of coping with loss and learning to accept your past is done really well. Seeing the guardians slowly build up trust between each other was a genuinely great experience. The gameplay while a bit clunky, was really fun and had a cool tactical    Guardians of the Galaxy is a wild ride with a gripping story, fun gameplay, and great music.

    Great game! Enjoyed the gameplay, slightly repetitive but the story was great as and nice to see all your decisions coming through at the end! Would absolutely recommend!

    Fun game with a great story and an excellent script. The soundtrack is great too. Thoroughly enjoyed the banter throughout the game. Some gameplay hiccups here and there make the game feel like it could have used a few more months in development but nothing that makes the game unplayable. I had a few frame rate issues in a few spots but again nothing game breaking. Highly recommend thisFun game with a great story and an excellent script. The soundtrack is great too.     Simply fantastic. Please buy and play. Help get a sequel green lit!! The dialogue is so amusing, the team building is perfect, you care for the characters by the end, the combat is fun, adds layers of complexity and a bit of strategy. It’s just so great. If you like sci fi adventure games in general or the guardians of the galaxy it’s a must play!

    Taking inspiration mostly from the comics with some nods to the movies, this game tells its own very enjoyable story. It is a gorgeous game with fun combat that isn't complicated but varied enough to stay engaging. There is light exploration that often rewards you with upgrade materials, collectables or cool new outfits. The dialogue is funny and surprisingly    This game is a blast!

    If you are a fan of story driven single player games then this is a must play! No micro transactions, no political agenda, just great fun! Oh yeah, and a killer sound track!

    I enjoyed this game so much, and I wanted to support it in hopes to see a sequel that I also bought it for my PS5.

    The only flaws are minor: there were some audio bugs that occurred on both platforms; sometimes you are pulled out of the action a little too long; and sometimes you miss out the funny banter between the characters if you happen to interact with something while they are talking,

    Goty for sure the most surprising game I’ve played this year and it’s almost perfect. A little janky in its gameplay sometimes but a great game nonetheless

    Great visuals and environments.
    Fantastic music choice. Great use of the license feels authentic to the source material. Voice acting is mostly great. Lengthy adventure that has a variety of different environments. Cons: Combat gets stale about halfway through the game. Enemies can become very ‘bullet spongey’. Increasing the damage to ‘very high’ does not fix this issue. As    Pros:

    Guardians of the Galaxy is a much better game than Avengers. With that being said, it’s not a 10/10 game and does have some issues, mostly with combat becoming stale at about the halfway point and the enemies feeling more of a chore then an exciting challenge. If you’re a Marvel fan and want to play a game that captures the feeling of the source material, check it out. If you want an action game and are okay with the combat becoming a little stale halfway through it, check it out. It may not be the 10/10 game Marvel fans might’ve wanted but it’s not a bad game, not at all and it is enjoyable, and it makes up for the mistakes Avengers made. If their next game takes the constructive feedback about the combat getting a little too stale, then I can see their next game being a masterpiece.

    All and all this developer has learned from their mistakes and I personally did enjoy this game much more then I thought I would’ve.    … Expand

Si le gameplay ne révolutionne rien, il en reste agréable mais c'est surtout la narration, les personnages ainsi que l'humour qui font tâche. Quel travail, l'aventure de nos gourdins de la galaxie est tellement plaisant à suivre que je n'ai pas vu mes 20 heures de jeu passer.     In a year full of disappointments, this game was the last thing I expected to be a highlight of the year. A great game worth every penny charged, unlike most AAA games this year.

    This game encompasses everything enjoyable about the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The presentation, production values, banter between the crew, and world building are all top-notch. Honestly, the banter approaches legendary status and sets the bar for party-based games going forward. Drax and Mantis are particular standouts.

    As for gameplay, I was sold when I found out you only control    This game encompasses everything enjoyable about the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The presentation, production values, banter between the crew, and world building are all top-notch. Honestly, the banter approaches legendary status and sets the bar for party-based games going forward. Drax and Mantis are particular standouts.

    As for gameplay, I was sold when I found out you only control Peter and direct the other Guardians, rather than it being a co-op experience. Everyone has a unique move set and they are all useful. Outside of combat, there is platforming, minor exploration, and numerous action scenes reminiscent of the Uncharted series. Also, you will make choices that affect certain scenes. Early on, you sell a “monster” to a collector and what you choose drastically affects what happens.

    The game isn’t perfect though. The story gets a little too weird for my taste and it drags on towards the end. I also encountered small glitches that forced me to reload checkpoints. Nevertheless, if you have an affinity for the movies, playing this game is a no brainer.    … Expand

    I confess that the trailer at E3 to the sound of "bad reputation" by Joan Jett and "Holding Out For a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler left me with instant hype. I didn't regret it, the game is amazing, graphics, storyline, gameplay, etc.

    After the disappointing performance of Marvel´s The Avengers, "Marvel´s Guardians of the Galaxy" feels like an excuse which is almost impossible not to accept. It´s incredible well written story really fits the template of the comics, including characters, atmosphere and humor - all served without any microtransactions!     It doesn't matter if you like any of the Marvel movies or you don't. This is a great single player action adventure game.

    The gameplay is fun, and I had a blast throughout the whole game game blasting all kinds of different enemies. The gameplay stays fun because you're constantly unlocking new abilities/weapons. It also helps that the story/writing in this game is top notch as well.    It doesn't matter if you like any of the Marvel movies or you don't. This is a great single player action adventure game.

    It also helps that the story/writing in this game is top notch as well. Even if the guardian movies aren't your thing.

    There are some few glitches here and there and sometimes the framerate on the Series X wouid drop down a lot, but not in a frustrating way.

    Youll be going forward through these linear sections, dealing with obstacles in the way and uing the other guradians to progress such as groot making a bridge or drax tipping things over or breaking walls.. and then there will be a fight, enemies will swarm you and you use your abilities and command the other 4 guardians for them to do teir special moves, and youll be able to fill up a meter to huddle up for some extra damage and listen to some classic 80s tunes while you kick alien butt.. at first this is all really fun, but eventually it just becomes tiresome, combat is so repetitive and a slog to get though due to how spongy enemies are, it just never feels satisfying and was my least favorite part of the game.. I enjoyed the traversing and problem solving, dealing with waves of bullet sponges, not so much…
    That’s being said, marvels guardians of the galaxy is a crazy goofy adevnute, there are great action pieces here.. the world is fun to get around, the writing is hilarious at times, and I loved the incorporation of 80s music,
    The game does overstay its welcome for somone not really a fan of the IP, but this is still a great game to run through

    Even with a couple of technical shortcomings and the fact that the game needs a few patches to correct them, Eidos Montreal made a masterpiece with a lot of love and attention that will be remembered for all time. Marvel fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief and indulge in the new space adventures of Peter Quill’s gang.

    Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the best Marvel games ever released. It has a deep original story that becomes personal with every choice you make , a combat system that may start slow but holds some of the best moments of teamwork and explosive action, and amazing graphics and soundtrack. If you’re a Marvel fan, this is a game you’ll enjoy.

    Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy could’ve easily ended up being a lacklustre attempt at recreating what makes this group of oddballs so endearing to the Marvel community, but that’s not the case. The acting is top drawer, with a script in place that can make you laugh one minute and bring a tear to your eye the next.
