Whether it's jumping into an online lobby or gathering a group of friends for private matchmaking, there's nothing else quite like Lemnis Gate on console, and it's well worth a look for anyone who wants to see one possible future of the FPS genre.

Lemnis Gate is a clever and damn well-designed game. Emphasizing tactical choices over pure skill, this original turn-based shooter impresses. Its successful concept mixing FPS and time loops gives rise to refreshing clashes. Too bad some of its content neglects strategy in favor of less interesting direct confrontations. Hopefully his already sparse player base doesn't dwindle too quickly, as Lemnis Gate follows through on his excellent concept.

Of course, if you are someone who likes to keep an eye on new Game Pass entries, it doesn’t take much to see that Lemnis Gate is one of the recent Day One additions to the service, finding players, even with the cross-play option, is something that can take a bit of time but be patient and you’ll have a blast. The gameplay quality is definitely no reason for a lack of players, although it may be a sign of what’s to come with big triple-A shooters inbound.
