Oct 2, 2025Glowmade has created a multiplayer game that will be talked about for its creative combination, its incredible script, and the vast amount of customizable aspects it offers at a price that, by current industry standards, is almost ridiculous, along with the constant on-screen action. Perhaps the most important achievement of King of Meat is that it can be played by a 9-year-old or someone with over 40 years of age, and both profiles will find something enjoyable and fun , a very rare feature to find in current productions. If you're into multiplayer games, I recommend you give this title a try. I'm sure you won't regret it.

Oct 2, 2025The overpopulation of games as a service is evident, so it's hard to stand out, but King of Meat is a beast of its own, thanks to its creativity, a noteworthy level design and a great care for solo play. Will this suffice to stand afloat for months? That will depend of how the users react to it, of course...

Oct 2, 2025An inviting and enjoyable dose of brutal co-op combat and platforming laced with British humour, King of Meat wants you to entertain a baying TV audience for glory, and in turn, it succeeds in entertaining you, too.

Oct 10, 2025King of Meat does a lot of things right, with its fun gameplay and co-op action that provides short, sharp hits of chaotic fun. It's a game that makes you want to keep coming back.

Oct 2, 2025King of Meat thankfully doesn’t take itself seriously and provides good fun for friends that want to cooperate (or compete) in stages together. An easy recommend for a casual gamer.

Oct 7, 2025I’m not sure King of Meat has truly captured my interest in order to keep me coming back after my work obligations are over. It’s a cute, welcoming multiplayer action game with a lot of challenges and interesting mechanics. But it also feels like I’ve seen pretty much everything there is to see after a few days of playing. Hopefully with time there will be more variety with post-launch content additions and a robust player content creation suite. I might not be around for it, but I’ll always be grateful for my awesome, new Discord server tag, a sword paired with a simple word: MEAT.

Oct 2, 2025There's just something tonally off about the way that King of Meat is put together and while I won't deny that the gameplay has its moments and that Glowmade has a vision here that could work out and lead to a lot of fun for players around the world, I also can't shake the feeling King of Meat will struggle to retain player attention for the long haul. I hope I'm proven wrong, but following the hours I've clocked in for this review, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to return for more.

Oct 2, 2025King of Meat’s intro is a reflection of how the game feels — disjointed, confusing, and self-indulgent — yet it exhibits undeniable fun and high-quality production value. But for every awesome feature King of Meat has, there are just as many design decisions that undermine those features, making it difficult for King of Meat's strengths to shine.

Oct 2, 2025King of Meat may not feature the tightest 3D platforming ever, nor the most engaging brawler mechanics in history. Yet, its eventful and varied dungeons offer exhilarating platforming, satisfying exploration and chaotic combat. It’s fun as a solo game, but with other players it turns into an absolute riot. Tons of items to throw around, explosions, moving platforms, wacky physics – it’s hilarious chaos. With plenty of player customization, a powerful level editor and an almost stupid number of things to unlock, King of Meat could easily stay in your multiplayer rotation for quite some time. Here’s hoping the game’s player population will be solid enough to keep it around for a long time! [Provisional score = 80]
