    If you are looking for a sizeable challenge to dive back into the world of Fenyx Rising, this expansion may well appeal to you.

    I had high hopes going into the first DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising. A New God on Xbox though feels like a safe entry, and even for a piece of DLC it overstays its welcome with a large number of trials and not much else.

    The structure and new ideas in A New God are promising: Despite my frequent frustrations with its physics and many of the puzzles, I had a decent time barreling through all these puzzles without having to discover them on a huge map. But it's hard to ignore how haphazard it felt, the trepidation I experienced trying a solution I knew would work only to have it go wrong for reasons out of my control.

    A new god is basically, challenge after challenge. Story wise it was underwhelming. I mean, it didn't even had a proper good ending. ApartA new god is basically, challenge after challenge. Apart from 4-5 trials that were either way too long, or had some logic problem, I must say that, most of them were really well done. By far, The Athena trials were the most fun, Aphrodite, not so much. I give it 65%. It's just sad that there was no real story to this, just a bunch of trials that doesn't amount to anything in the end.… Full Review »
