    This is the surprise hit of the year for me. I didn't know what to expect, but it's an absolutely hilarious game that made me very immersed. Fun action, good gameplay, incredible writing and characters, and I am not even really a fan of the creators, but they really knocked it out of the park with this one.

    I have no idea what some of the critics were playing, but this game is brilliant. The humour is on point constantly, you never get a dull moment. The graphics and soundtrack are too notch, really stunning. Especially the visual style. The frame rate hold up at 60fps with very few hiccups. (Series X)
    There are light puzzles as you play through, which add to the platforming gameplay.    I have no idea what some of the critics were playing, but this game is brilliant.     Really cool. Recommended for rick and morty fans a 100%. And hey, its free on game pass. I dint have any big bugs on all the walkthrough. Actually, i don’t remember any more than one sound bug, im on xbox series s.

    Even if it's not your brand of humor, this is an outstanding FPS game. The unique weapons offer up dynamic gameplay. The traversal system makes getting around satisfying and brisk. The colorful art style and graphics create an energetic and upbeat vibe. The boss fights are challenging. And the game does not overstay its welcome like an Ubisoft game. Short and sweet. This was a blast, and IEven if it's not your brand of humor, this is an outstanding FPS game. The unique weapons offer up dynamic gameplay. The traversal system makes getting around satisfying and brisk. The colorful art style and graphics create an energetic and upbeat vibe. The boss fights are challenging.     Awsome Game, Games media were upset that this game wasn't inclusive enough and didn't have enough POC representation,,, even though it was set on an Alien planet, filled with diverse Aliens..This game is full of originality and great humour. Tons of work must have gone into this experience with so many interactions voice acted and it pays off.     One of the best, most entertaining and enjoyable game of 2022.
    Its short and sweet, it took me around 16 hours to complete. It's a very funny game, even people who are not fans of FPS games will like this game because of the humor and cheese dialogues.

    A must play game without any doubt.

    I really enjoy the humor and story. It’s not revolutionary gameplay but it’s exactly what I wanted out of it and I’m glad I took the time to play it. Definitely give it a whirl.

    Great Humor, nice graphics and the devs are very fast with fixing the tiny bugs, this game have. Would give it a 9/10 but because of the 0/10 ratings, from the Sony ponys, it deserves the 10/10.

    Its rare a game comes along and makes me laugh out loud as much as this did. I love the humor so much I actually want to listen to what npcs are gonna say next. Im now a huge fan of Squanch Games thanks to Xbox Game Pass.

    A very very good game. It's funny, it's beautiful, it has originality, nice guns and gameplay in general. There are not so many different enemies and maps but it's a AA game. I gave it a 10 although it's a 8. But all these negative professional reviews but mostly the lack of professional reviews made me to love High on Life even more.

    I planned to "just check this game out",. but got sucked in to it big-time! Really enjoying the humor, somehow this game feels really refreshing! It's not the game-play. The game-play is "good enough", maybe it's just the humor? Somehow it hits the right spot.
    When I'm talking with friends, this is the game I keep bringing up. I hope they will make it multi-platform so that PlayStation    I planned to "just check this game out",. but got sucked in to it big-time!     If you like Rick and morty or Solar opposites you’ll love the story and jokes in this game. Combat is really fun the story had me wanting to keep going till the end.

    Perfect! A game for people who just want to enjoy playing a game. The voice acting and comedy has no equal in gaming. (I wouldn't be surprised if this spins off into some sort of animates series.) Wrapped up in the the comedy are colorful, vibrant visuals and the gameplay is satisfying even though you're playing a comedy game. Do yourself a favor and try this game!

    High on Life is a great shooter built on what you'd expect watching Interdimensional cable. The traversal mechanics stuck out to me; the dashing, Knifey grappling, Mag-boots and one of the best jet packs in a game. All worked really well along side the cast of weapons that made replaying well worth it for their dialog during key moments in the story. I never played a gamr like this ever because of the pointless dialogue yet funny to hear makes me wanted to hear to the end unlike any other game and the boss fight is challenging enough and yet hilarious. Also some live dialogue are well scripted for example in the first combat with kenny if we pause the game he will go mad and said “WHY TF YOU PAUSED THE GAME ARE YOU AN IDIOT!!” whoch i find it surprised of how does he know we paused the game and such and the adventure reminds me of platforming game like spongebob’s but on crack. Overall best game ever played because it’s on gamepass so you don’t need to paid full price to enjoy it… Expand

    This game is awesome! First off it is made by one of the creator's of Rick and Morty and it shows. The main voice actor in the game is the voice actor for Morty himself and he is so funny! If you like RIck and Morty humor this game is for you, and man it was for me!

    Here are some positives:
    - Short campaign with a lot to do. I am a fan of the 10-12 hour campaign, I do not need every game to be a 100 hours of fetch quests. This is a shorter and more refined experience that focuses on art style, funny writing, and good FPS gameplay and platforming.
    - Combat and movement feel good and are very different. As you get new abilities, suit upgrades, and weapons you can move and kill in new ways. It is very fun in that regard.
    - The story is actually really fun and compelling. You are a bounty hunter seeking to take down a cartel from the bottom up.
    - The cast of characters are great. All the Guns have super funny personalities and even a touching and tragic backstory that you will learn about throughout the story.
    - The game is FUNNY. If you like Rick and Morty, play this game. If you like this game watch Rick and Morty.
    - The graphics and art direction pops off the screen.
    - The main villain is absolutely the worst in the best way, and by the lost boss battle you will be so ready to end its life.
    - The boss battles are a fun combination of puzzle combat and shooting.
    - The worlds are beautiful and colorful.
    - The worldbuilding is also really great and clever. There is definitely room for a sequel, I like the lore and factions in the world a lot.
    - Variety in locations and enemy types.
    - The achievement hunt it so good! You can, with a guide get 100% completion in one playthrough.
    - The length is perfect. I want to say my playthrough was around 12 hours with near total achievement completion. I love shorter focused campaigns because I can replay them and it ups the quality. This is one of those classic 12-15 hour shooter campaigns from back in the 360 days.

    You should play this game, I have no clue why it got bombed so hard it doesn't deserve it at all. Play it on game pass now!    … Expand

    Such a fun and unique game, so much detail in the world that you never know what you could find just by wandering off the beaten track! Game mechanics are fun, upgrades feel meaningful, and the bosses each offer a unique experience and challenge. The story is well written and satisfying from start to finish!

It's an amazing combo of Rick and Marty, metroid prime, and munched oddysee type all rolled into one amazing FPS game.     Fantastic game filled with original content, great humor, and FUN gameplay loop. Loving every minute of it. It doesn’t overwhelm nor overstay its welcome. I had zero good expectations for this after seeing low critics reviews but you can see from the user scores both here and on Steam it’s universally loved!

    Thsi game is reslly only for rick snd morty fans and fand of Roilland. If you don't like the diologue then guess what? The game wasn't made for you. Overall, if you like the darker repeting sense of humor in rick and Morty you'll like thsi game too.

    Very fun game made by the creators of rick and Morty, being able to try this game on game pass made it a big plus price wise and the humour is what I personally enjoy, for those that don't like the frequency of the talking can turn that down in the settings but it's a very solid game with in my eyes no flaws .

    Colorful and Entertaining. Gives a Rick and Morty Cartoon Vibes. And the Gun is Morty keeps your spirit up always. Gameplay is your typical first person shooter. The real winner are the characters and how it gives a different experience that your regular First Person Gameplay. Must try.

    Demasiado bueno, increíble que venga de la mano del Creador de Rick y Morty, la voz es de Rick y todo es perfecto me da mucha risa mientras lo juego, es frenetico, me gustan los Shooters y este cambia mi perspetiva con un modo y gameplay de juego diferente con diálogos muy buenos y chistosos

    O jogo é incrível e só melhora quando vai avançando no jogo .     Brilliant game, awesome humor and it looks impressively good. Besides to Goat Simulator 3, it’s the funniest game I’ve played this year. Just ignore the low metascore, the person who reviewed it is probably dead inside and doesn’t know what a “joke” or “humor” is. ;-)

    High on Life is an enjoyable yet silly first person shooter that works on most levels. While the humour sometimes misses he target, for the most part it is quite a witty and humouress story with interesting protagonists and antagonists to be found along the way as you explore this immersive alien shooter. Definitely a game for those looking for something unique yet different in the first person shooter genre.

    Humor is sometimes tough to get right. You have to pace it right and you shouldn’t overdo it. Justin Roiland and co. unfortunately throw it at you in mindless spades and hope something sticks. And underneath it all? Just a very average shooter.
