    High on Life is one of the best games I've played this year, Vibrant world, amazing gameplay ideas in an FPS game, the concept is great and the jokes are hilarious, a must play.

This game is hilarious from start to ending the gameplay is okay the story is pretty good the world needs more exploring and they should do a better job of making the upgrades meaningful in the next game and please give us a longer game and don't go back to the same areas over and over again put more planets in there even give side quest would be nice to get back stories on the planets maybe even some kind of legendary bounties cooler suits and better upgrades maybe even stuffed missions in the next game but overall the first game is pretty good for a starting off and the humor carries the game… Expand

    Another game where most critics dont know what they are talking about. Yes the game has its flaws but its also filled with excellent moments, interesting characters, and a simple and fun design. Seriously this game is good! the only down side to it is that the game has constant waves of the same enemies and repetitive dialogs that characters wont shut up and endlessly speak.     This game was fun, funny, refreshing and a delight to play. Squanch games is definitely a studio i am excited about and can't wait for them to put out more games. I really enjoyed this game from the humor to the gameplay.

    It you like the humor of rick and morty you will definitive love this one. The world is designed fun and you will encounter very hilarious moments behind every corner. The gameplay is doing alright.

    Funny, refreshing, fun! Great entry and looking forward to future games from this studio. Also, seems like gamepass really gave this game the access to reach so many ppl and it’s getting nothing but praise from everywhere I look. Seems the actual reviewers of this game, don’t match the actual gamers for this game at all.

    Why is the critics review so bad? This game was amazing, if it wasn't for Elsen ring this would be my goty. Of course there are some weaknesses but mostly because it's their first game and therefore smaller budget but i pray for a 2nd part and or dlcs. Must play

    Apart from a few bugs and glitches, High on Life is an amazing experience. The game is fun the humour is on point although so many people might have different opinions on the Rick and Morty jokes that’s constantly been told by characters and some advertisement like in game tv shows.     There are a couple little bugs (not annoying) and when there are a ridiculous amount of enemies, there are some little dips in Performance. This can be polished.

    The final verdict is a big +
    I give it a 8.5, what makes it a 9. I love it!

    Ignore the Ponies hating on this game and focus on Xbox players that actually play(ed) this game.

    El juego me ha divertido mucho, aunque gráficamente esta regular, pero está acompañado de buenos diálogos con una historia divertida, es un juego que debes jugar si o si.

    Lo cuestionable es que es un humor negro, toca temas que no a todo el mundo le hacen sentir cómodo y para nada es un juego de niños, aunque en lo personal me ha encantado.

    It’s a good mix of Doom and Ratchet & Clank. Soo many small things to see and hear. The universe definitely feels alive. The only issues I had were minor technical issues, small glitches, frame stutters, etc. main story is about 10hrs Long and no new game plus, but I can definitely see people replaying this. If you like Rick and Morty and FPS’s you’re guaranteed to love it.

Though the variate of weapons is great, the variety in enemies and combat is non-existent, it becomes repetitive real quickly, as there are only basic enemies(the weak one, the normal one, and the slow big one that deals lots of damage) The boss fights are also repetitive, as they are all based in the same mechanism( you fight the boss, he develops into a stronger boss, he triggers an ability that makes you unable to touch the ground or you`ll die, and this goes on with most of the bosses). there are 3 different type of maps, but they are all generic, so most of the time, you are looking at prefab assets in diffrent aspects and colors. Apart from this, it is still a really fun game to play, and the story is quite good, i think this game is worth playing,
    You can tell their main focus was to make a game that was not just based on combat, but more of a critic to modern generic games, as High on Life tires to be innovative.
    I see lots of people criticizing the way the guns talk and how annoying they can be, but that is the way they are intended to be, as when you are fighting or in a tense moment, you are not going to be comfortable, but instead nervous and annoyed with everihing that may cause you to loose focus.    … Expand

    The game reminds me of the metroid prime days, it's hillarious and definitely feels like I'm playing a Rick and Morty game which I love. Definitely if you like that stuff I suggest you pick it up and play it since it's free on gamepass.

Los jefes tienen su dificultad y cada uno tiene su forma para derrotarlos. Que las armas tengan su propia personalidad le da un añadido extra al videojuego que lo hace algo innovador, además el tutorial es una sátira a los juegos shooter antiguos. Si quieres pasar un buen rato y disfrutar de un shooter innovador este es tu juego. No niego que de salida presento algunos problemas de rendimientos pero fueron solucionados rápidamente por eso mi nota es un 9/10 sino alcanzaría la máxima… Expand

    Great game and worth playing. I beat the game in 3 days because I couldn’t put it down. It’s the type of game you’d expect from the creators of Rick & Morty, but not as funny as the show yet still funny enough to make you keep playing. My only complaint was the ending, I won’t elaborate on the bad ending I’ll just let you figure it out.

    Un juego genial. Le cuesta un poco arrancar, pero cuando consigues dos o tres armas adicionales se vuelve muy agil, frenético y divertido. Muy buen sentido del humor y técnicamente no desentona. Maravilloso que gracias a GamePass no tengamos que creernos las falacias y tonterías que vienen de la prensa.

    Muy recomendado.

    Para mi sería un 86 pero sólo se puede puntuar con unidades. El juego es muy divertido, el gunplay sin ser muy elaborado tiene variedad de armas y algunas habilidades por cada arma. Tiene tintes de metroidvania con bastantes idas y venidas si se quiere mejorar todas las armas y conseguir todos los coleccionables. La variedad de enemigos es escasa pero tampoco creo que sea necesario ponerPara mi sería un 86 pero sólo se puede puntuar con unidades. El juego es muy divertido, el gunplay sin ser muy elaborado tiene variedad de armas y algunas habilidades por cada arma. Tiene tintes de metroidvania con bastantes idas y venidas si se quiere mejorar todas las armas y conseguir todos los coleccionables. La variedad de enemigos es escasa pero tampoco creo que sea necesario poner más, ya que no hay muchos tiroteos, la exploración es lo mejor, lástima que los escenarios no sean brillantes aunque están lejos de ser malos. Lo mejor sin duda es la narración si te gusta Rick y Morty no lo dudes, es lo mismo.     Reí a carcajadas, divertido, un poquito repetitivo en la dinámica de combate en el sentido de que no hay gran variedad de glory kills, y el mapa está algo limitado, pero de ahí en fuera me parece asombroso, gran juego en ocasiones se parece al Doom por lo intensos que se ponen los combates, lo recomiendo en XBSX|S.

If that type of humor is not your thing, then stay very far away from this title. While each have a secondary fire method, this really needed at least 2-3 more weapons for variety. Plus the game has a ton of bugs, both with its graphics and audio. While the game tries to make fun of these, they happen quite often enough to take you out of some scenes. I'd still recommend it, especially to those on gamepass. But you really have to determine if the like the crass and never-ending humor that Justin Roiland brings to the table. Because it's true that there's so much talking at all times it's almost unbearable, especially when characters start talking over one another.… Expand

    A crazy and wild game for Roiland and actuality humor fans.

    Even though its technical problems it’s still a fun and pretty unique game in a world of more serious stories and games, nice breath of fresh air.

The only real complaint I have is that this game's framerate is awful on SERIES X if you don't have motion blur on...Otherwise, my complaints only have to do with the game needing a sequel: more level variety, more guns, more opportunity to use the final gun.     Un juego fresco diferente y entretenido que consigue de sobra su proposito que es pasar un buen rato matando marcianos sin mucha preocupación con una sonrisa en la cara.
    Una lastima el tema de no estar doblado , los subtítulos mini y que te den tanto la chapa incluso con los diálogos al mínimo, es un poco molesto pero el juego se disfruta igual.

O que mais gostei foi se movimentar com jet pack, escorregar, ficar pendurando em abelhas ou andando de ladoArmas que fazem piadas, criticam, orientam e conversam entre si !     What will take it higher or lower for you if the humor. If you find it funny you'll like it even more but if you're not a fan of Justin Roiland's humor you'll probably hate it. I’ve docked points due to the repetitive nature of the music, from what I can tell there’s only 1 soundtrack that plays when you’re fighting the generic enemies.Played the game, and the story is great so far.     It's a decent shooter/platformer. Reminds me a little of Doom Eternal-lite. Artwork is lovely and it performs well on the xbox series x. I think a lot of the negativity comes from the humour, and I can kind of get why some people don't like that. I think I only laughed out loud a handful of times, but I generally found it amusing - more so than Borderlands 3. I think it's well worth your time.

    Really great game, the shooting mechanics and gameplay is solid, graphics are great and the jokes land more so than not.

    Either will be a cult classic classic/hidden gem or the start of a new franchise. I hope it's the latter, this game has a lot of potential. A sequel that builds and expands on this universe would be a must-play and a masterpiece

    Excellent game with a great sense of humour to it too. Gunplay is good and game mechanics run smooth since the day one update. Won't be for everyone but glad to see a more mature humour game available to play.

    A very enjoyable game. High on Life makes fun of its self and kept me laughing throughout.
    There are some visual bugs here and there, also a few times I had to restart a checkpoint to fix game breaking bugs. FPS issues were fixed in a Day 1 patch and am sure more patches will come.
    Overall High on Life has a great game play and level design that kept me coming back for more.

    I usually find the type of humor provided in this game to be very hot and miss but I'm about halfway through the game right now and am thoroughly the game for both it's humor and gameplay.

    the gameplay has nothing special to offer and the story is nothing unique it's fine but not great the jokes are the only parts of the game you want to pay attention to play it only for the jokes if you enjoy other Roiland's works

    Ngl forgot I even played this game and didn't add it to my account. I played it a **** ton when it came out. Game Pass is a hell of a thing. But I had a great time with this game. The humor is my kind of humor. It's just stupid fun. The gameplay is nothing special at all tho. Like everyone else has already said, if you're a fan of Rick and Morty then you'll probably like this game.

    Overall, was a fun 20 hours for sure. Lots of great humor, most of it low brow but still pretty good. A lot of bodily fluid/function jokes, some high brow stuff thrown in there as well. Some secret upgrades for guns, secret areas, a secret boss or two, etc. Plays like Doom, gotta move constantly so you don't get hit, health regens, best gun is the pistol, tho. I killed pretty much every guy with the pistol, other guns just don't compare to it until you get the last one which is basically a BFG. Last boss fight was the hardest, all boss fights were fun. One bugged out, had to reload. Other than that, nice fun game.    … Expand

    High on Life is an enjoyable yet silly first person shooter that works on most levels. While the humour sometimes misses he target, for the most part it is quite a witty and humouress story with interesting protagonists and antagonists to be found along the way as you explore this immersive alien shooter. Definitely a game for those looking for something unique yet different in the first person shooter genre.

    Humor is sometimes tough to get right. You have to pace it right and you shouldn’t overdo it. Justin Roiland and co. unfortunately throw it at you in mindless spades and hope something sticks. And underneath it all? Just a very average shooter.
