    Hilarious as hell and very creative, this sits in a class entirely of its own. Not your old school fps at all. Some of the comedic elements of the game had me in tears laughing, like the sock-puppet threesome. Gameplay, world and sound are all quite good. Some of the city locations could have been richer with more activity and NPC dialogue, but the whack writing and jokes balance that out.Hilarious as hell and very creative, this sits in a class entirely of its own.     It’s a very unique game, funny and addictive. Even though is not for everyone I personally really like it, the gameplay is amazing and the story is pretty good also, but the best part of this game is the type of humor and jokes in their different situations and combats during the campaign.     Ngl forgot I even played this game and didn't add it to my account. I played it a **** ton when it came out. Game Pass is a hell of a thing. But I had a great time with this game. The humor is my kind of humor. It's just stupid fun. The gameplay is nothing special at all tho. Like everyone else has already said, if you're a fan of Rick and Morty then you'll probably like this game.

    Por mais que esse jogo não tenha sido legendado ou dublado é um jogo extremamente divertido e cômico. Merecia ser dublado pra que a gente entendesse um pouco mais das piadas.

    This is a solid game. The game is short and sweet. The humor is funny but the more you play the more it feels like the same jokes over and over. The gameplay is nice and the concept is super original. That was my 2022 GOTY. I dont think I would play a second time tho.     Mais le jeux ne brille pas que par son humour, on se retrouve devant un fps/mertoidvania dans la ligné des Metroid prime (voir plus récemment Savage planète) avec un level design efficace et un gameplay solide. D'ailleurs le gun felling est plutôt bon, ce qui n'est pas évident quand on se dit qu'on tire tout le long du jeux avec des **** parlants semi-rigides.

    Sur pc le jeux est plutôt beau dans son style (cad dire très cartoon et flashy), avec des animations de très bonne facture (on est plutôt au niveau AAA sur ce point) et une Opti au poil. D'ailleurs après les optimisation désastreuses des versions PC de Gotham Knignt, Darktide et Callisto Protocol, on se dis que certain gros studio devrait en prendre de la graine.    … Expand

The only real complaint I have is that this game's framerate is awful on SERIES X if you don't have motion blur on...Otherwise, my complaints only have to do with the game needing a sequel: more level variety, more guns, more opportunity to use the final gun. Again, great boss battlesReally fun and funny game. I don't like Rick and Morty humor, but this game really tickled my funny bone.     A mecânica do jogo é incrível, as armas falantes são maravilhosas, piadas do jogo, o universo de Rick and Morty, algumas piadas +18 sim, porém que o jogo é um FPS não digo genérico, mas um FPS que junto do jogo trás um ar muito bom e de tudo a história é a melhor, seres humanos sendo usados como drogas e sendo traficados por alienígenas.

    Very funny moments. The only bad things i can think of rn are the subtitles that are so small that makes them hard to read sometimes. Otherwise a really fun experience that gives everything that promised in the trailers: hilarious aliens, colorful designs and lots of fun.

    Reí a carcajadas, divertido, un poquito repetitivo en la dinámica de combate en el sentido de que no hay gran variedad de glory kills, y el mapa está algo limitado, pero de ahí en fuera me parece asombroso, gran juego en ocasiones se parece al Doom por lo intensos que se ponen los combates, lo recomiendo en XBSX|S.

The game is just long enough to make it fun but not get too repetitive and the mechanics arePlay through this game and you'll see that this was clearly made for the fans and not the critics. I really just had an enjoyable and relaxing time playing this game. The game is just long enough to make it fun but not get too repetitive and the mechanics are well done. Everyone can also enjoy it on gamepass, which was great. If the guns bug you too much, you can turn that down in the settings, but I mostly found them all funny. You can tell that this game wasn't perfect in any way, but the voice acting and attention to detail was real labor of love for the creators.     Un juego fresco diferente y entretenido que consigue de sobra su proposito que es pasar un buen rato matando marcianos sin mucha preocupación con una sonrisa en la cara.
    Una lastima el tema de no estar doblado , los subtítulos mini y que te den tanto la chapa incluso con los diálogos al mínimo, es un poco molesto pero el juego se disfruta igual.

If that type of humor is not your thing, then stay very far away from this title. I personally do plus the meta commentary on overused cliché tropes in FPS really hooked me and left me feeling great, even if those jokes come at the expense of the rather boring gameplayIf you like Rick and Morty you'll like this game. A lack of guns, mostly because each gun is alive so it would have been tough to do so many voice lines, was my biggest issue. There's only 4 guns and 1 knife in the game. While each have a secondary fire method, this really needed at least 2-3 more weapons for variety. Plus the game has a ton of bugs, both with its graphics and audio. While the game tries to make fun of these, they happen quite often enough to take you out of some scenes. I'd still recommend it, especially to those on gamepass. But you really have to determine if the like the crass and never-ending humor that Justin Roiland brings to the table. Because it's true that there's so much talking at all times it's almost unbearable, especially when characters start talking over one another.… Expand

    This game is awesome! First off it is made by one of the creator's of Rick and Morty and it shows. The main voice actor in the game is the voice actor for Morty himself and he is so funny! If you like RIck and Morty humor this game is for you, and man it was for me!

    Here are some positives:
    - Short campaign with a lot to do. I am a fan of the 10-12 hour campaign, I do not need every game to be a 100 hours of fetch quests. This is a shorter and more refined experience that focuses on art style, funny writing, and good FPS gameplay and platforming.
    - Combat and movement feel good and are very different. As you get new abilities, suit upgrades, and weapons you can move and kill in new ways. It is very fun in that regard.
    - The story is actually really fun and compelling. You are a bounty hunter seeking to take down a cartel from the bottom up.
    - The cast of characters are great. All the Guns have super funny personalities and even a touching and tragic backstory that you will learn about throughout the story.
    - The game is FUNNY. If you like Rick and Morty, play this game. If you like this game watch Rick and Morty.
    - The graphics and art direction pops off the screen.
    - The main villain is absolutely the worst in the best way, and by the lost boss battle you will be so ready to end its life.
    - The boss battles are a fun combination of puzzle combat and shooting.
    - The worlds are beautiful and colorful.
    - The worldbuilding is also really great and clever. There is definitely room for a sequel, I like the lore and factions in the world a lot.
    - Variety in locations and enemy types.
    - The achievement hunt it so good! You can, with a guide get 100% completion in one playthrough.
    - The length is perfect. I want to say my playthrough was around 12 hours with near total achievement completion. I love shorter focused campaigns because I can replay them and it ups the quality. This is one of those classic 12-15 hour shooter campaigns from back in the 360 days.

    You should play this game, I have no clue why it got bombed so hard it doesn't deserve it at all. Play it on game pass now!    … Expand

    Ignore the “professional “ reviews. This game just shows how corrupt many of this “gaming journalist” are . Obviously if you like Rick and morty this will be a 10/10. The graphics are great on a series x and I experienced no bugs , only one crash .

    If you are a gamer you need to play this master piece. My final score is a 9/10 . Best: humor and bosses Bad: you don’t get the jetpack before    Ignore the “professional “ reviews. This game just shows how corrupt many of this “gaming journalist” are . Obviously if you like Rick and morty this will be a 10/10. The graphics are great on a series x and I experienced no bugs , only one crash .

    If you are a gamer you need to play this master piece.

    Even if it's not your brand of humor, this is an outstanding FPS game. The unique weapons offer up dynamic gameplay. The traversal system makes getting around satisfying and brisk. The colorful art style and graphics create an energetic and upbeat vibe. The boss fights are challenging. And the game does not overstay its welcome like an Ubisoft game. Short and sweet. Though the variate of weapons is great, the variety in enemies and combat is non-existent, it becomes repetitive real quickly, as there are only basic enemies(the weak one, the normal one, and the slow big one that deals lots of damage) The boss fights are also repetitive, as they are all based in the same mechanism( you fight the boss, he develops into a stronger boss, he triggers an ability that makes you unable to touch the ground or you`ll die, and this goes on with most of the bosses). there are 3 different type of maps, but they are all generic, so most of the time, you are looking at prefab assets in diffrent aspects and colors. Apart from this, it is still a really fun game to play, and the story is quite good, i think this game is worth playing,
    You can tell their main focus was to make a game that was not just based on combat, but more of a critic to modern generic games, as High on Life tires to be innovative.
    I see lots of people criticizing the way the guns talk and how annoying they can be, but that is the way they are intended to be, as when you are fighting or in a tense moment, you are not going to be comfortable, but instead nervous and annoyed with everihing that may cause you to loose focus.    … Expand

    I personally loved this game and would recommend it to anyone, the "professional" critics are entitled to there opinion of course but it should be rated way higher than the 60's in my opinion

    Para mi sería un 86 pero sólo se puede puntuar con unidades. El juego es muy divertido, el gunplay sin ser muy elaborado tiene variedad de armas y algunas habilidades por cada arma. Tiene tintes de metroidvania con bastantes idas y venidas si se quiere mejorar todas las armas y conseguir todos los coleccionables.     High on Life is a unique and highly enjoyable masterpiece! I don't even like or typically play shooting games, but once I started playing I could NOT stop playing till i did everything there was to do in the game. Storyline is wonderful, recomend everyone give it a try at least.

    Shooter elements are there, but mostly to create a background for driving narrative. It is more a parody on FPS games than an FPS game itself.

    One of the best, most entertaining and enjoyable game of 2022.
    Its short and sweet, it took me around 16 hours to complete. It's a very funny game, even people who are not fans of FPS games will like this game because of the humor and cheese dialogues.

    A must play game without any doubt.

    High on Life is an enjoyable yet silly first person shooter that works on most levels. While the humour sometimes misses he target, for the most part it is quite a witty and humouress story with interesting protagonists and antagonists to be found along the way as you explore this immersive alien shooter. Definitely a game for those looking for something unique yet different in the first person shooter genre.

    Humor is sometimes tough to get right. You have to pace it right and you shouldn’t overdo it. Justin Roiland and co. unfortunately throw it at you in mindless spades and hope something sticks. And underneath it all? Just a very average shooter.
