    I don't get that Hate? Sure it has some FPS Problems and some Bugs. But i have Fun with it. If i compare this to Garbage like Fifa or Call of Duty every Year or the so called "Game of the Year 2020" Last of Us 2, i like this a lot more.

This is how Rockstar treats the much beloved and revered original 3D trilogy by handing the games off to a developer whom either didn't care or wasn't given the support and budget to produce something better. Riddled with bugs, graphical glitches and horrible character models thatUnforgiveably bad, glorified ports of the mobile versions from 10 years ago with a slight lick of paint. This is how Rockstar treats the much beloved and revered original 3D trilogy by handing the games off to a developer whom either didn't care or wasn't given the support and budget to produce something better. Riddled with bugs, graphical glitches and horrible character models that somehow look worse than their two decade old originals. The much touted GTA V design elements that were supposed to help modernise these games amount to nothing more than a weapon wheel and passable aiming. It takes a special kind of ineptitude to make 20 year old games running on a modern engine to perform so poorly on the latest generation of consoles. The fact Rockstar have the gall to charge £60 for this dumpster fire and call it a "Definitive Edition" is laughable and just outright insulting. These games deserved so much better. Fans of these games desrved better. The only reason this score isnt zero is because the original games are still fun to play. Shame on you Rockstar.… Expand

    Absolutely disgusting remaster. Cyberpunk looks like polished art compared to this trilogy. Full of bugs, terrible looking characters, bad graphic and performance. You can't buy legally classic editions of thoose game becouse of this cash grab. Shame on you Rockstar. San Andreas Definitive Edition is not worth to play even on gamepass. 0/10

    Отвратительная работа. GTA Vice City моя самая любимая часть игры, и видя что они с ней сделали, я просто хочу нынешней компании Rockstar скорейшего закрытия. Это уже не та компания, которая создавала те самые GTA, это очередные талерасты, которые не хотят ничего делать, при этом поганят наследие той самой Rockstar.Отвратительная работа.     Decepção do caralho, a rockstar deu 3 GTAS pra Grove strett games quem fez o port cagado de mobile e pensou que seria uma boa ideia, a rockstar tem o estúdio que fez a master chief colection e deu 3 GTAS lendários pra um estúdio que já falho com eles no passado, sorte que não paguei 300 conto nisso

    Should have invested al those laywer fees into the games instead. It's unbelievable that "amateurs" are able to come up with better remasters than a multi million company. All lower scores aside but one search on youtube comes up with dozens of versions that looks better and that from people that not have the same resources, there is simply no excuse.

    Our expectations were low but holy f*ck. This is wrong on so many levels but knowing Rockstar no issue will be resolved. Imagine having trouble hitting 60 fps in a 20 years old game.

    Я прям не понимаю почему все так негодуют. Лично мне игра довольно понравилась. Играю в San Andreas на Xbox SS и единственное что меня смущает это режим производительности.     Terrible remaster. Nothing more than a quick cashgrab from Takedown Two which are the same **** with an anti-modding stance and that took down numerous mods and sued modders because they came up with something far better than this terrible remaster.

    Rockstar, ваша компания всегда была гарантом качества издаваемых вами игр, но то что вы сделали с оригинальной трилогией не поддаётся разумным объяснениям и словам, мало того что в ремастер перекочевали проблемы из оригинала, так вы даже не заменили ключевых механик, это отвратительно. After watching the trailer and the gameplay that was merged the day before the release, I realized that I would not even go into the Definitive Edition, and what to go there, everything is already clear from the trailers and gameplay.

    If T2 and Rockstar Games didn't need the money, they would have made a good remaster, but the reality is upsetting.

    A beautiful game that brought me back to my childhood. I felt the same way I felt 20 years ago. The graphics are just perfect! Even the old cheat codes remained. The gameplay is still the same. The only thing that's confusing is that the characters have a pretty fast run. This remake will deserve 10/10.

    These games have been ruined, luckily I still have the originals on PS2 or I would never be able to play these again. Unfinished junk, wouldn't pay more than $10 for these **** so called "remasters"

    A trash remaster made by some low Asian studios, Rockstar just took the credits. They don't even used their own engine, they remastered the game in Unreal Engine, how silly, but they know how to take your money.

Result: when flying over Los Santos, you can see the other two cities in San Andreas, which creates the feeling of being in a small sandbox. In the other two games the feeling is even bigger. Not only that, but it also makes it more noticeable when objects that were previously in low polygons render right in front of you; facilitated minigames, removing the challenge from them (pool game, low rider battle, weight training); broken or missing animations (in any physical shape, whether thin, fat or muscular, CJ now always has the skinny animations); the "updated gameplay" is actually worse and less intuitive than the PS2 originals. Aiming is especially bad and NPCs get a glowing outline around their bodies when they're in your sights, much like a mobile game like Gangster City or other mobile GTA derivatives; Control mapping is not designed to cover all forms of locomotion. If you fix it for cars, it's bad for Hydra. Fix it for Hydra and it's bad for jetpack, etc.; chose to keep the cartoon art direction of the originals but the result, particularly as far as the character models are concerned, is something of a gigantic uncanny valley. With the exception of Claude, protagonist in GTA III, all other characters, including Claude himself in his appearance in GTA San Andreas, in addition to the other protagonists, minor characters and NPCs are not only weird-looking but less detailed compared side-by-side with the originals; aside from bugs in smartphone versions, it adds several new ones. From visuals to gameplay, in cutscenes and beyond; Terrible weather effects. Rain, for example, falls a layer behind the game's water, whether from rivers, lakes or ocean. That is, the raindrops "disappear" when they pass above the ocean from the player's point of view. Some players have reported headaches caused by looking at this rain effect for a long time. Clouds became JPEGs in a static sky, where before it was possible to go "inside" them while riding a Hydra, giving the feeling of high altitudes; the nitro of the cars doesn't do the increased motion blur effect, which used to bring a sense of speed; in GTA San Andreas, some weapons are as well detailed as the M4 rifle, while others like the AK47 are less detailed in the character's hand than those that adorn the interior of the Los Santos Police Station and, finally, the performance. The collection runs locked at 30 frames per second on 8th gen consoles and has frame drops even on high-end PCs or new gen consoles. GTA V is a game with much more information, textures and heavy effects to be read and has a much more stable performance within the same setup that struggles to maintain 60 frames in GTA The Trilogy.

    The summary: it's a trilogy that updates the graphics of the originals while maintaining fidelity to gameplay and art direction, though that means sacrificing improvements that would be welcome in these areas. It doesn't justify the price, nor the removal of originals from digital stores, as they are by no means worthy replacements.    … Expand

    Assim, a Rockstar não prometeu um grande avanço, mas eu até gostei em partes, só os personagens que estão feios, o mundo tá ok, embora tenha quedas de fps e muito pop up, no Series X tá até aceitável, meu ponto negativo ainda é o preço, ainda mais por esse serviço as pressas, mas me ganhou pela Nostalgia infelizmente.

    This comeback of the three GTA classics feels superficial and poorly optimized, although some improvements are clearly visible. It's not the remaster we were hoping for, but these are still immortal classics that can still entertain and sometimes even amaze. And sometimes that's all we need.
