This game is garbage. There's nothing to say about it really. It's the same N64 clunky, low res version

Broken buggy mess.. should have left it on nintendo where it belonged. They should have taken more time to perfect it imo..

Expand

The unreleased arcade version will forever reign supreme. On a serious note, if that unreleased arcade version was already nearly complete, why are you emulating the N64 build?

I was expecting from GoldenEye 007 to be 60 fps, with HD textures and graphics improvements. But it does not have any of them and it is really a trash. It’s exactly the same version that was released 25 years ago. And also the level designs are outdated that makes you nauseous. The AI is dumb too, The probability of death is close to zero!
I only can recommend playing it to you if you

A game ahead of its time and that laid the foundations of FPS. Bond, James Bond is back. Building his reputation as a legend within the industry with the game that marked a before and after. Maybe the Xbox version lack about online multiplayer and it does not reach 60 fps but it’s still Goldeneye 007 one of the best FPS of the 90’s and everyone has to try it at least once.

Yes, there could have been a big revamp of GoldenEye 007’s mechanics. Yes, the graphics could have been remade and, yes online could have been included. But does any of this take away from the fact we now have one of the most iconic shooters of all time playable on Xbox Series X|S? Not one jot. GoldenEye 007 is perfect.

It’s good to see you again, Mr. Bond. After more than 25 years, GoldenEye 007 has still got the same magic that made it such a seismic event upon its release in 1997. This Xbox version might be missing online multiplayer and cheat codes, but don’t let that put you off. It’s still utterly wonderful.
