Oct 24, 2023Ghostrunner 2 is a textbook sequel, with an obvious and perfect evolution, with an intriguing story that engages from the first moment and is accompanied by fast and precise gameplay that is polished to the limit of goodness and a playability that It gets more additions as you progress. It is highly recommended for fans of the first installment, cyberpunk lovers and also for those who like speed and putting their reflexes to the limit. And well, the levels of the motorcycle… what an incredible thing.

Oct 23, 2023Ghostrunner 2 takes a big step forward compared to the first game, in all respects: quality, variety, longevity, and game design. A title that is finally mature and capable of entertaining from start to finish, with tough but well-balanced challenges in which the player feels closer to success with each new attempt. Too bad for a somewhat foggy story and some inaccuracies in the controls, but if you want a challenging game that tests your reflexes, it definitely deserves your attention.

Oct 23, 2023With Ghostrunner 2, the One More Level studio is making an action-adventure shift that is not without its challenges. By focusing on larger and not always very precise areas, we lose a little of what made the first part charming... Here, “die and retry” is more often synonymous with frustration, which results in a less addictive experience! The adventure is thus punctuated by attempts (more or less successful) to flesh out the experience - with a few passages that stand out, particularly in the second part. We therefore end up with a pleasant experience, driven by gameplay that is always effective, but which gets lost a little too often.

The other half is a dull, albeit thematically rich, journey to an outside world that is, in theory, worthy of the runtime but fails in practice for the kind of game Ghostrunner is.

Oct 23, 2023More beautiful, more complete and also more responsive, Ghostrunner 2 initially appears to be the expected and controlled follow-up to the first opus. However, the second half of the game opens up its playing field, offering less cramped environments and new gameplay mechanics, including motorbike passages. These additions are both good and bad, and the core of this sequel still lies in its frenetic action, this time wrapped up in a captivating storyline. Be warned, however, that the title should be reserved for a discerning audience, as the challenge is not for the faint of heart.
