Whoever works on these games and whoever buys them (I got it for free) should really be ashamed.     I have been playing Fifa for about 18 years now. This is by far the worst entry in the whole series, no skill required, the same players over and over in FUT, pace and pass abusing only! This game is a mess and you should aboid buying this game. Get Fifa 14 and enjoy.

    Defending is impossible. Every match literally ends up with scores like 6-5. Feels like a table football rather then an actual Football game.

EA tells player to go a different. Same with passes. Will definitely take a break from Fifa. Ultimate team is pure evil greed. Players should be free to assemble and not just about PACE PACE PACE.     I have to say I was impressed with the upgrades from the Next Gen. Still feel like there should be more. I am excited to say that I want to see the long term option. This is a start however. I can't wait to see the future ahead.

    In Be A Pro, you can be the best player in world football but if the team you play for doesn't play a player in your position, they simply won't select you in the squad. Furthermore, even if you request a transfer, if your value is too high and you aren't playing (I assume that's the problem anyway), you can't move    It's broken.     I mean it looks great. The fact that only a few popular players have next gen graphics is a bit odd. It has bugs, I mean A LOT. Offside bugs are everywhere, it happens all the time for me during career mode. Career mode is great, I found a bit difficult to understand the training system. Somehow this game lost its soul for me. It looks better, it has more content, but overall it has aI mean it looks great. The fact that only a few popular players have next gen graphics is a bit odd.     This game is utter garbage, instead of creating a diverse pool of players with differing qualities so as to use each one in a unique team formation all they did was give you the ability to buy special players threw packs and other pay to win tactics. Even though you grind and get good players, when matched up against someone who paid, the game gives them an unfair advantage. All of a sudden your players with 93 pace and chemistry style to boost speed slows way down, like so slow you think it's the end of the game and they are exhausted into the red, but when u look at ur health bar it's still at 87. their pass ability goes straight into the ground like they are some bronze level garbage player. Its so bad it takes you to the extent that your pkayers pass the ball into open areas with no speed and the ball falls dead for the other team to intercept. You'll also notice that your cpu controlled players stop defending and making runs, they don't move to open spaces they just basically quit on you even though u have a 3 goal lead... and don't get me started on the kick offs, prepare to have ur team do nothing while the other guy dribbles threw your whole team and scores a goal. In my last game it happened 3 times in division 6 and In one game! This game is clearly made to make money and to benefit those who pay to play. If u insist on playing get ready to rage and smash crap. Fifa 21 is straight trash and the worst part is ea doesn't even give a crap. Their updates are terrible, they have all sorts of issues but leave it to them to give u a ball with Leppard skin, who gives a crap about that when your game is glitched and rigged!     And especially for online play, you will not get the response from the players that you expect at all, the game is just completely off on a whole and will only make you feel like you wish you never brought the game

    I was so looking forward to playing this game and with everything that was hyped. I bought the Xbox one edition with the view to using the dual entitlement to upgrade to my Series X when I received it.

    The optimized version of the game was available weeks after I stated playing the new console. When I did eventually get it I only saw minor upgrades to the actual gameplay and non-gameplay    I was so looking forward to playing this game and with everything that was hyped.     I still don't understand why people are saying it's same as FIFA 20 which was quite playable. The gameplay is significantly worse than FIFA 20. Defending is so bad and frustrating, it’s just about having players with pace. Games easily end up with 7+ goals.
    And next gen version is even worse and totally unplayable.

    Worst football game ever, I don't even know how they try to sell this. It's fifa 20 but worse. I asked the refund after 1 hour.

    Worst game (not just FIFA game, by the way) I have EVER played. It's beyond trash - it's like someone was given a five minute overview of "soccer" having never seen it played and told to go write a game about it. The defending is beyond terrible, passing utterly random, stats meaningless. That you can actually just sprint INTO defenders and rarely lose the ball is mystifying. The defenders are the worst aspect, they are just all over the place all of the time. Let's not even talk about 'keeping. The momentum BS is clearly still in full effect. All in all it's not healthy - EA are a desperately greedy company, almost stealing money from children in Ultimate Team and paying no attention whatsoever to the state of what is the worst football game I've ever played.     Too focused on animations... Players never do what I want. I've played soccer my whole life and videogames and fifav for that matter and I either lose horribly or win by ten...I almost never have a realistic game. The controls feel like I'm whispering suggestions from the other room

    per me fifa 21 è uno dei fifa migliori visto che fifa 20 non mi è piaciuto, tanto da disinstallarlo praticamente appena preso.
    ha fatto passi in avanti rispetto a tutti gli altri del passato come 18 o 19 pero cambierei sicuramente alcune cose come la carriera calciatore e anche i rigori e punizioni.

    I wish this game was deleted from the servers, people were refunded their money, and they never made another game. The game play for this game is atrocious. There is no defense, no goalie play, the fouls called are inconsistent and embarrassing. EA clearly put no effort into this game. Just uninstalled it so I would never have to look at it again

    Ultimate Team is a Pay to Win + online casino (yes, in European laws UT should be considered an online casino accessible only to +18, because that's what UT is) mode were the more money you spend, more chances you will have to mount a competitive team.    Played on Xbox Series X (via GPU) and as long time Fifa player (since N64 days), this is one of the worst Fifa games ever made.

    Online seasons mode is another joke with an atrocious scripting: I always use the same team and in one game, they run like a Ferrari, controls are always responsive to the inputs, the defenders defend like normal football players and the GK is a Gianluigi Buffon on steroids; in the next game, they run like Ford Ts, the control inputs are full of lag, the GK is dumber than a rock and the defenders are complete idiots.
    This is even worse as you rise to from division to division.

    If you value your money, don't buy another Fifa game until EA changes everything and stop treating its players like idiots.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm a veteran FIFA player, and the gameplay just seems to be getting worse over the years. High scoring games like 4-5 and 5-6 are way too common. Midfielders don't track back while defending. AI tactics are broken and uses constant pressure way too often, making it quite easy to score while it's completely drained of energy. This game isn't even worth half price. FIFA should be a paid subscription. You shouldn't pay 60 dollars every year for a game that barely adds new features.… Expand

    If you don't already own FIFA 21, we doubt this upgrade will convince you to head out and buy it. But if you're a fan of the franchise and are thinking of picking up a new console, the next-gen update might be the thing that makes you fall in love with football all over again.

    FIFA 21 on the new generation consoles is a largely familiar experience. There are no gameplay tweaks or improvements to talk about, but it does look marginally better due to a new lighting system and more realistic player models. There’s a heightened sense of atmosphere with crowds brought to life in more detail and contextual animations of making fans and players feel less like soulless AI and more like humans.
