F1 22 from EA brings speed and excitement to the track, but it falls short of its predecessor in several key areas. The Career Mode (Driver) lacks the depth needed for full immersion, especially with the removal of interviews. This omission leaves players wanting more engagement and connection with their virtual racing careers.

The AI, disappointingly, seem to stick rigidly to the racing line, missing the unpredictability and dynamism that would make races truly engaging. This lack of adaptability from the AI diminishes the overall experience.

Car and suit liveries, unfortunately, feel like a copy-paste job from the previous year. The absence of fresh designs is a missed opportunity to inject some new designs and excitement into the game. Additionally, the Career Mode's (Driver) transfer system feels empty and underdeveloped, missing another opportunity for players to feel a greater sense of progression.

Online co-op is a welcome addition, but it's marred by aggressive AI behavior. The constant collision caused by AI can lead to frustrating moments that detract from the multiplayer experience.

The absence of the "Breaking Point" mode is a notable disappointment. Its absence is keenly felt, as it was a standout feature in previous iterations.

Despite these setbacks, playing with friends can inject some fun and make the game more enjoyable. However, it's disheartening to see a sports game take a step back in certain aspects. F1 22 ultimately feels like a downgrade compared to its predecessor, which is a letdown in a genre that should aim for continuous improvement.

If every single weekend you are waiting for the Grand Prix or you might be curious about the motor sport both in the real world and the virtual one, you should give it a try. This is the most polished and fresh experience of the franchise in recent years. It is also a graphic and technical treat regardless of your level of experience or how much you love a video game.

F1 22 delivers fantastic driving experience and dynamics with many options that do make the game as welcoming or challenging as the player wants it to be, for the sport fans its a dream come to life, but unfortunately the game didn't evolve much.

F1 is back in style thanks to Codemasters and EA. Its renewed gameplay is fresh air for the franchise. A great game that will captivate motor fans.
