    denuvo junk inside because they weren't sure about the good quality of the game and that was the only method to sell the game which is a junk itself, full of bugs, ridiculous flawed save system, stupid quests, uninteresting characters, boring environments, regrettable story, regrettable graphics. Not worth our money. Worst game 2022

    After patch 1.9.0 game is really good now i fully recommended play this game . Graphic and story are amazing . I'm big fan of dying light 1 and dead island but I'm really love dying light 2

    Well I don't really get that 4.7 user score. It's honestly Techland's best game yet. Parkour mechanics are really cool, story is great, world design is on point and the graphics are good. The best way to play this game for console players is with the balanced graphic mode on Series X (and yes they made a few patches and this mode isn't 1080p/60 anymore, it's more of a 1200p or something).Well I don't really get that 4.7 user score. It's honestly Techland's best game yet. Parkour mechanics are really cool, story is great, world design is on point and the graphics are good. The best way to play this game for console players is with the balanced graphic mode on Series X (and yes they made a few patches and this mode isn't 1080p/60 anymore, it's more of a 1200p or something).     A lot of bugs, no zombie invasion, night time is **** cartoonic zombie, like 2 new zombies, one from left for dead 2 and the rest is only redesign. Parkour is what saved techland from a 1 in this scale. **** combat, no more broken bone exray and ****tie human combat. Survival sense is op showing you zombies through a wall and arrows shoing where all the zombies are.     As an xbox player I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. the performance is extremely bad and i had a lot of crashes at the beginning, which reduced a bit over time.

    To many bugs and glitches, lame weapon system. Very boring story and very lame end boss battle and zombies sometimes standing up even after you kill them same goes with human enemies, side missions to Repetitive.you can’t even repair your weapons at all This game only have good graphics Sadly I wasn’t to happy with the parkour either, Still prefer dying light 1

    graphics has been heavily downgraded, it looks ugly!!! DL1 was a joy for our eyes, very beautiful graphics, very well optimized and oh that wonderful scary soundtrack! What about DL2? Nothing of that, just mediocrity, it seems this game was developed with no care just to make profits from DL1 fans but players all around the world are very unhappy about this game, can't keep up with thegraphics has been heavily downgraded, it looks ugly!!!     ce jeu ne donne aucune incitation à jouer car il n'a pas d'âme. L'histoire est vide de sens, dispersée, interrompue. Les dialogues des personnages sont ridicules, dénués de sens. Les missions sont triviales, ennuyeuses, on a envie d'éteindre le jeu plusieurs fois. Mauvaise qualité et vieux graphismes

    This game is in beyond a sorry state. over 20 hours in and so many bugs it's unbelievable, from story events not triggering to constant quitting the game cause windmills don't work, its a mess. avoid it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. really a multiplayer experience. The lack of guns took some of the fun out of a good four player run going after volatiles at night. When fighting mobs at your own level they are extremely block happy and bullet spongy. I’m fairly certain most humans can’t take five to 10 hacks to the head with a machete. There are no good choices and what you do really does not affect the game at all in fact the traps are far less useful than the original game the general storyline felt like they just made a new crane and gave them a new name. This game leaves you upset with poor fight set ups and terrible bugs and generally nothing to do after you’ve been in the game in two days. The sound bug is absolutely terrible and I’ve been forced into animations by story and falling straight through the floor in a building into levels that don’t exist. I hit one of the larger zombies in the head with 57 arrow to the head…. 57 and they are not recoverable. It really feels like they learned nothing from the original game that was so popular and decided to turn and deliver nothing of the choices and alterations that actually affect the game in the final product this is an incredible letdown. I have played the original dying light through it entirely story probably 7 to 10 times and I’ve also done the following three or four and it was excellent this game has none of that creativity or storytelling. The controls are terrible and Jenkee at best I often press the trigger and get no effect jump kicks rarely work and the kick feature which was key in the original game is complete junk . I feel like there is less tactics and creativity in combat even though they added a block feature . It was much easier in the original game two judo throw people without having to block first they sacrifice too much for this one mechanic . They need to fix this game immediately and there are many many quality of life things that need to be adjusted. All the exotics you got are useless because they are out leveled and then they die and cannot be repaired even the most core fantastic thing that they did in dead island they failed to do in dying light two. Give us a workbench to repair our equipment you make us grind for the upgrades of each pattern there is no need to be completely a loser over the equipment when you finally find something you like. Also would not hurt to make away to infuse gear to current level. The other thing is over half The mobs do nothing but reduce your Health and equipment and provide no loot whatsoever. The final fight with waltz was complete and inspired trash. The final project is a re-warmed dinner of all the things you experienced with Kane story no choices are good and everyone you like in the game dies regardless of what you do. The one thing I liked was the added Hulk volatile mode which would be fantastic if you could activate it and has been a complete and utter missed opportunity. The intelligent Hunter was introduced on the following and it makes me sad that this was never followed through one. It would be nice if there was an expansion if you could play Kane as an intelligent volatile who hides himself under masks just as the mother did in the original game . hunter mode at night Old style kane in the day. The series X game is only 35 gigs I mean there’s really nothing to it I don’t know what they did for the last three years… Expand

The two Major issues pertain to game mechanics that completely remove me from enjoying it all together. The "chase" mode that happens at night if you alert too many zombies is just trash... fuggin A ... can I just enjoy it without thisUgh... I really enjoyed Dying Light. "Game has gone gold" probably means that 70% of the game is done and the rest will be in a couple of years. The gameplay is great and the story good but only if you can progress trough the bugs or deathloops. The multiplayer is non existent sinceUnfortunatelly another company that lies about the state of the game. A game that got delayed a couple of Times and still is a mess at launch.     Such a shame, I was really hyped with the whole "narrative focus" and "decisions with consequences" thing... It could have turned out so differently if Avellone had been at the helm...     Zombie game without guns. If you enjoy parkour and a worst story than the first game play this game. Beside bugs this game is mediocre at best. No mature / horror content like the first one, the first update should be a battle Royale for all the kids that enjoy this unpolished mess of a game delayed 7 years. I wish for a refund.



    PS - COOP IS IN A TERRIBLE STATE.

    It’s great. Of course it’s not the first game. The story has evolved. Things have changed in the world of dying light. It’s huge. It’s fun. There is so much to do. You have to put aside the haters and try it for your self. It’s really good. I have enjoyed every minute of it.

The basics are there, but at every turn the game stops you just when you're starting to have some fun. Have the key to the door? Great, still have to spam X to force it open after it's unlocked. Died during a particularly hard area inside at night? Respawns you NOTI'm unsure I've ever encountered a game that gives you so many tools for having fun then makes it SO hard to have any fun. The basics are there, but at every turn the game stops you just when you're starting to have some fun. Have the key to the door? Great, still have to spam X to force it open after it's unlocked. Died during a particularly hard area inside at night? Respawns you NOT at the closest camp, using up valuable time doing 100% pointless traversal to get back to where you were. Have everything to upgrade your weapon? Ooops, need a single item that only drops from super hard mini-bosses. Running out of health cocktails? Time to spend an hour gathering the multiple things needed to craft them. Even going to SLEEP in a safe zone is gated behind a silly "oh no I feel weird" rote animation that can't be skipped. Every single detail of the game that's any good comes with an attendant caveat that makes it suck. And all of it boils down to the inflated padding that was crammed into this game under the guise of "RPG". It's all COMPLETELY pointless. The endless dialogue wheels that have no impact whatsoever on the game, the "big choices" that actually have no impact at all other than do you want ziplines or car traps, both completely minor changes. The character progression is slow and boring, with multiple different systems layered on top of each other with apparently no thought. Most of the unlockable skills are essentially useless, I unlocked double jump over 10 hours ago and haven't used it a single, solitary time and never needed to. This game is a whirling cauldron of BS trying to stand on the two flimsy legs of parkour and combat while the shambling corpse of RPG elements cribbed poorly from other, far better games, repeatedly kneecap the game and leave it shuddering in the street, waiting for Techland to come revive it somehow. I don't think they can. It's rotten at its core and will never be as much fun as the first game.… Expand

    Este juego no merece esas criticas tan destructivas comparándolo con cyberpunk, ni muchísimo menos, el juego es muy entretenido tiene mejor parkour que el primer juego y el mapa es enorme y está lleno de misiones secundarias muy buenas.Lo único reprochable de este es la optimización en todas las plataformas, algo que ojalá mejoren en el futuro.

    A mediocre game, it doesn't live up to the previous one, buggy and Playing on Series S, the most bizarre and ugly performance mode I've ever played.
    The story is good although predictable, and the gameplay is fun.
    But it is flooded with bugs, I had everything, crash, black screen, blocked NPCs preventing the story from moving forward.
    It was the biggest disappointment of 2022.

    La verdad es que no sé en qué han estado trabajando durante estos 7 años, a parte de la ciudad. Mismas mecánicas, un sistema de crafteo nefasto y lo peor es la historia. En ningún momento me ha motivado a seguir con ella, igual que he sido incapaz de empatizar con ninguno de los personajes. En definitiva, mucho mejor el primero que además en una de sus expansiones puedes conducir yLa verdad es que no sé en qué han estado trabajando durante estos 7 años, a parte de la ciudad. Mismas mecánicas, un sistema de crafteo nefasto y lo peor es la historia. En ningún momento me ha motivado a seguir con ella, igual que he sido incapaz de empatizar con ninguno de los personajes.     Optimización horrible cómo es posible que una Series X para llegar a los 60fps tenga que bajar la resolución a los 1080p? Nisiquiera es un juego que parezca de finales de la generación pasada y muchísimo menos Next Gen puedo aceptar que el juego tuviera que bajar la resolución a los 1080p pero con el RT activado y a 60fps lamentablemente no es el caso solo llega hasta los 30fps cosa que enOptimización horrible cómo es posible que una Series X para llegar a los 60fps tenga que bajar la resolución a los 1080p? Nisiquiera es un juego que parezca de finales de la generación pasada y muchísimo menos Next Gen puedo aceptar que el juego tuviera que bajar la resolución a los 1080p pero con el RT activado y a 60fps lamentablemente no es el caso solo llega hasta los 30fps cosa que en un juego donde la fluidez es esencial es inaceptable, sin duda se aprovecharon de que las nuevas consolas son muy potentes y ni se esforzaron en optimizar el juego.… Expand

    Buenísimo. Por mi parte no entiendo como ha tenido notas más mediocres de algunos medios. Llevo varias horas de juego y la historia me está encantando, y las secundarias son brutales. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. No le doy el 10 por el ligero downgrade que ha sufrido desde el E3

    Ryzen 5950x в разгоне на 4.7Ghz и Aorus rtx 3070 Gaming OC, игра установлена на ssd Kingston KC 3000 1TB (топовый ссд) И 32гб ( 2х16 гб ) на 3800 с такминнгами cl14 И в 2к у меня 60 кадров. Дай Бог 60. 4к даже 30 кадров с натяжкой... Иии. Это пиздец. Жена стримила когда, 2 раза краш игры, точнее сама закрылась. Баги,    Будет спорить лишь проплаченный или участник с збс.

    Баги, фризы, мобы Сами падают с крыши в низ, когда ты стоишь вдоль стенки снизу, а мобам норм. А ещё мобы (противники) своих же бьют.

    I like the game world, but the optimization on xbox Series X is tragic. Every now and then some graphic errors. I will no longer buy games for the premiere. I feel cheated. I hope it fixes this game quickly

    Developers, don't be fooled by these **** who didn't bring the language, your game is a logical development of the first part, in the second you improved everything, something to a lesser extent, the game pulls 9 points unambiguously, for the heavy atmosphere, the screams of people who are torn apart by zombies, excellent parkour and a normal plot, thanks to the developers for the game

    A very good game, I like every element, and the most unique is parkour, combat, music. Villedor looks very good and has a great atmosphere in the city especially at night. Without revealing too much of the plot at night there is an adrenaline rush and a chase element which gives a lot of satisfaction. It's just a good game, I had no bugs, time well spent.

    Another solid entry in the Dying Light series. It improves on almost all aspects of its predecessor without revolutionising anything. If you liked DL1 you'll love Dying Light 2. I believe that some of the small issues as well as 1080p resolution on new generation of consoles take the score down a notch. 8/10 seems fair to me.

    The Movement and parkour feels a little jank, you will grab on to ledges and float there without being able to move. The Movement feels very floaty.     Arrows are needless expensive for outputting such mediocre damage. Again, a whole class dedicated to it, and you will be lucky to hold more than 20 arrows at once.
    Bugs are to numerous to list them all, but a few times I have had to reload game to fix.
    Game feels overall unresponsive to button presses, which makes you spam the buttons to make an attack or jump, because the will sometimes flat out not work.

    This game might be no 10. But this is purely for all the ridiculous Italians 0 bombing this game. Also had rarely any glitches in about 10 hours of playtime and had a blast playing this in co-op with friends. Definitely not perfect but a lot of fun!

    Dying Light 2 is a great game graphically first class and gameplay too. Bravo TECHLAND for this game, you guys are great. I'm so glad I'm Polish. It's great that you didn't bother with the Italian language in the game to add it because nobody needs it. Poland is on the top.

    1. Co-op is completely broken (literally can't even click the button)
    2. Controller buttons/actions just stop working randomly
    3. Practically every mission has game breaking bugs forcing you to start a new save
    4. The amount of motion blur is ridiculous. Horrible graphical glitches. Horrible performance.

    Where the game becomes completely unacceptable is it's performance. On the Series X, "performance mode" comes in at 1080@60 which looks awful on a high-end Samsung 4K TV, and if you're ok dropping down to sub 30fps modes, the best you're looking at is 1900@30, or 1080@30 with ray tracing. There is also no support for HDR or Dolby Vision, though those on some devices can use options like Windows Auto-HDR.

    With nearly 2 years of delayed development, it's bewildering to think that no thought was made towards those fortunate enough to have acquired current gen hardware, and that they've in essence been left by the roadside; given a half-baked product and asked to pay more than those with a superior product on PC.

    Whilst comparisons to Cyberpunk are often clickbait, a key similarity lies at a complete disregard for 1 generation of consoles.
    Cyberpunk ignored last gen whilst DL2 ignores current gen. An issue likely to be blamed on current gen availability, but still no excuse when game prices have risen and quality has dropped.

    All-in-all, if you enjoyed 1 and aren't too fussed about graphics, resolutions, framerates and minor bugs (though some game-breaking bugs are out there), DL2 may well be up your alley.
    But if any of those things are important to you and you've splashed out on current gen hardware, save your money, wait for possible patches or a hefty sale.
    And if you're lucky enough to have a mid-high end PC as well, get the game on that, it's cheaper, looks better, gives you a variety of graphics options (motion blur!) and it's moddable.
    Just beware that not only is the game also not crossplay, it's not even cross-gen.

    Were the game a solid 4K@60fps with options to disable junk like motion blur and chromatic aberration, at most I'd rate the game a 5/10. The game doesn't re-invent the wheel or push any boundaries, but if you want more DL1 with some notable features removed like zombies sticking to spike traps (they just drop to the floor now) or tumbling off rooftops (they just stay stood up and take an invisible elevator to the ground level), DL2 has you covered.    … Expand

    Despite of audio bugs (which are very annoying), the game catches all the ambient from the previous ones and got some new mechanics. Let's hope that Techland fixes this bugs, so it doesn't remove the enjoyment of playing.

That the game only runs in 1080p with 60fps... I don't care. Still looks amazing and offers a well paced action packed experience with a working stealth mechanic, which I enjoy. The music bug i encountered may be a little annoying, but no game breaker. Restart and it worked again. And i guess there was an update, cause today the bug didn't reoccur. I think the storytelling is far better than the previous game and gameplay is similar but also an improvement of the last installation in the series. The parkour feels much better and way more fun once you get some skills and more stamina.     This is the perfect sequel to dying light. Sure it’s riddled with bugs, but it expands upon the first game, it has a new story, new set of characters, new map, new protagonist, new faction system, etc. This is the game that they showed in the E3 2019 trailer and it will stay that way.

    This game is a completely frustrating piece of garbage. The controls are awful, the game play makes no sense, and it is just a confusing mess in general. Huge disappointment. No idea what some of the reviewers are playing. Terrible.

    The game doesn’t do anything wrong per se and I must criticize it primarily for its absolute mediocrity, lack of interesting ideas, and wasted potential. There were good moments I really enjoyed here and there, despite the game having the worst open-world city of gaming history and the creators’ promises not being fulfilled in the slightest.     Dying Light 2 Stay Human could very likely become the stellar zombie survival adventure it should someday be, provided the bugs are finally wiped out. Its excellent parkour is an amazing way to explore this giant open world of the last tough city, and the post-apocalyptic stories of its many strange and distinctive characters are a must-see. Our bet? If its developers bring us a DLC with a really interesting story (or that solves this ending that we can't swallow), then we'll have the perfect zombie game.

    But the storytelling is a hair too cryptic to be easily followed. That’s true for most of Dying Light’s story elements too; from tiny touches, like photos of a dead family in an abandoned house to larger-scale interactions with other characters, the game struggles to emotionally draw you into its conflict. I never cared about saving Mia; my main focus was always on reaching the next objective. The bright side: Despite all those shortcomings, I had an absolute blast doing that.
