    Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is a title that more or less has impacted me as a gamer and shown me to not be afraid to try something new. As off-putting as visual novels are to some people I highly recommend giving DDLC Plus a try as you can tell that the hearts and souls of everyone on the team went into this project. Maybe it’ll become a part of your reality as I let it become a part of mine.

    Doki Doki: Literature Club Plus! is a unique game. An experience that is difficult to describe to anyone who has not yet played it, but one that will undoubtedly stick with those who do.

    There are very few games that stick with me after the credits roll, and even days later, I’m still thinking about DDLC+. While some of the content and imagery may be difficult to take in for some, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is truly something unique. I had no idea what to expect and got something twisted far beyond anything I would have even guessed. It won’t get out of my head. Welcome to the club and remember, Just Monika.

    Doki Doki Literature Club + successfully adapts a very unique concept to consoles, and offers a great translation (at least, to Spanish) to let a wider audience enjoy this darker take on visual novels.

    For what is a technically simple game, this is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had.     I played this for the first time on Steam near it's initial release and I remember having my mind blown with the game's creative gimmick (notI played this for the first time on Steam near it's initial release and I remember having my mind blown with the game's creative gimmick (not saying gimmick in a negative way). This game is short, but it does manage to present itself in an excellent way. I was so glad when this game got a console release that I picked it up on Series X. The addition of the side stories was really nice, alongside new music and unlocking little incentives like in-game art (and other things). I also liked that they went even deeper with the hidden lore through emails and other details in the game. This game on the surface does not seem all that deep, however there is so much hidden lore that is so fun to examine and explore. Here's hoping we get Project Libitina soon ;)… Full Review »
