Oct 21, 2024Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is an expansion that improves the original experience. On Xbox Series it offers a smooth experience, with no server outages or bugs and makes Blizzard's classic feel as engaging as it did on day one. The new map is huge, the Spiritualist perhaps one of the most fun classes to play and the endgame content the first substantial improvement to gameplay since its original release.

Oct 4, 2024Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred delivers a fresh yet familiar experience that will keep fans hooked for months.

Oct 18, 2024Ultimately, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is a great expansion that knows what it wants and what it's looking for: to build new bridges to the future while continuing to provide content for the present.
-
Oct 31, 2024Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is a smart expansion that offers more than enough tantalising new content to bring back previous players while keeping existing fans happy. The new Spiritborn class is fun, versatile and customisable, while other additions like mercenaries, reduced level cap and new ways to tweak your build all make a lot of sense. While the story might not set the hellish world on fire, it has some memorable new environments that make playing through it still feel interesting, even if it’s clearly setting up for something bigger. With new captivating endgame content, Vessel of Hatred makes diving back into the world of demons as enticing as ever.

Oct 4, 2024Despite some small issues, Vessel of Hatred is an absolute blast to play. Its flagship features, the new campaign in the region of Nahantu and new Spiritborn class, are both great reminders of what makes Diablo 4 such a great entry in the series to begin with even if neither is perfect. But it is the small additions where the expansion really shines. The tweaks to leveling, new party finder system, and plethora of other fine tunings grant a lot of hope for the future of Diablo 4 since it just keeps getting better.

Oct 4, 2024Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is a stellar expansion that hits all the right notes, but only feels like the first act to a larger adventure.
-
Oct 4, 2024Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred demonstrates that Blizzard Entertainment is following the right path with its ever-evolving action-RPG. The addition of a new region and class breathe new life into Sanctuary, and smart changes to progression and core systems only improve the baseline experience further. The story could have been more impactful, but this expansion still offers a journey worth taking.
-
Oct 4, 2024Vessel of Hatred has a great start, mediocre middle, and frustrating ending. The Spiritborn class is a fantastic addition, along with the new Mercenary system. At $40 if you’re in it for the story you may come out as frustrated as I am, but if gameplay is all you care about then there’s a lot to love.

Oct 21, 2024Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is a decent expansion to enhance the existing Diablo IV's systems. It is lacking elements of excellence, but it mostly gets the job done. If you were a fan of the base game, there's definitely stuff that's going to make this game more appealing to play in the long run.
-
Oct 4, 2024The release of Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is quite an interesting case, as the best changes are brought by the free 2.0 update, not the expansion itself. In the expansion, however, we get a powerful and well-designed Spiritborn class, companions, as well as a new map section loaded with quests and side activities for single- and multiplayer. Unfortunately, the new features are a bit lacking, and the storyline isn't particularly captivating.
