    Definitely wait for infinity wards next title. Call of Duty this year is blatantly destroying the decades old franchise. They got a taste of the mobile phone game money. Campaign is brutal. Long cut scenes and short spurts of gameplay. Super linear paths. A.I is an embarrassing hit mess. Digs are instant kill. Multiplayer is shallow. Same modes we have has for decades. Same guns.     Modern Warfare 2019 is the recent star of CoD, with both Cold War, & Vanguard both looking, feeling, & playing like complete crap compared.

    It's wiser to simply wait for Infinity Ward releases every 3 years, rather than waste money on the Treyarch, & Sledgehammer knock-offs.

    Not particularly fun or inspired. The destructible environments are terrible - would be better without them. The graphics are quite poor in parts - much worse than modern warfare despite being released 3 years later. In general it just lacks the fun of modern warfare.

    When you can play this game is new on things. Same map design and same modes. The story is lackluster boring charcter I dont care when bad things happen. Worst is that it turns your console off heats it up like crazy. Horrible game made for consumer they just want your money

    Another COD another failure. Their combination of cutscenes is more appealing than the gameplay. It's the same thing. It's COD WW2 but worse. I've played the entire campaign (nothing notable aside from cutscenes but I didn't buy a VIDEOGAME to watch a movie.) I've played about 30 hours of multiplayer to give it a chance but nothing notable. The same thing, copy and paste. Terrible game.Another COD another failure.     This is one of the worst COD games I have ever played. A boring campaign with idiotic scripted events, an atrocious zombies that is a slap in the face to the community, and a buggy/boring multiplayer.

    Full of hackers!!! They said day one it would launch with ricochet and that's about as much use as a chocolate fire guard!!! Games already destroyed just like warzone it's completely unplayable

    So So many major problems and final details need to be addressed to make this one day a good game.
    Balance of the Weapons all over the place, time to kill way too short, spawn points completely random, auto-aim assist is turning all over the place and cherry on the cake is the Map Dome is just the worst FPS Map in the history of video games and is symbolic for all the things who are just    So So many major problems and final details need to be addressed to make this one day a good game.

    Do not under any circumstances buy this with any part of your decision being for Zombies, it's abysmal and the latest changes coming out just show it's not going to be good for it's life. Skip it.

    What to say , i always love cod games some of them better some of them not the Best but I did love them and I would love this one too, because is cod and I love cod would rate it 10 out of 10 but it have very very wrong designed sbmm that suck all of the fun out from it same as it suck out all of the points from rating . Heart broken fan for over 20 years.......

    This has to have the worst level/map design I've ever seen on a COD game ever. graphical its dark, dingy & depressing which in turn makes the enemy's difficult to see when camping, Who are also dark & depressing (like a stick insects on a tree are difficult to see). I'm a casual player who likes to play for couple of hours in an evening, this isn't the game for me.    Multiplayer Only

    Where do I start with this game? Hit boxes are issues. The level design and glitches are unforgivable. When you attempt to enjoy a match and people exploit getting under the map or in object such as tanks/ trucks and can shoot out but you can not reach them. The maps are far too small for what you expect and level design isn’t even mediocre. The sight lines are to the point where you justWhere do I start with this game? Hit boxes are issues.     How the hell did we manage to get to decent zombies mode to a dumpster fire. I'm not even done. The campaign is so bad that I will rather watch paint dry. Now the good part, multiplayer. I bought Vanguard and was told I was banned, cool let me go file an appeal. Told them I legit have played Warzone in a year, didn’t play Cold War for about 6 months and they really didn’t care. I PLAY ON CONSOLE MOST OF THE TIME, HOW AM IThis is more or less a rant about their support team. They do not give two damns if your account gets perma banned for reasons outside of your reach.     Somehow, the character models have not looked so plastic since the Xbox 360 and PS3 era. The characters in the campaign are boring and cookie cutter. Pass on this one and just wait for Infinity Ward's game next year.    … Expand

    Literal trash refunded and never playing again. First time since 2017 I'm not playing a CoD game, the campaign is too short, multiplayer is not for me, zombies was the only reason i bought the game, and it's a huge step back from Cold War and others.

    We come to the multi-player. Absolute garbage and with a downward trend. If this is not revised and the game continues to be offered overpriced, the rip-off principle flies around the ears.

    No input matchmaking, maps are too small and hectic, game is too fast and urealistic even by Cod standards. Shipment and Das haus maps are the worst maps in Cod ever and Vanguard is the worst Cod I have ever played.

    This is the worst COD that I ever played in my life. The campaign sucks ! there is only 2 real missions, the rest is only a throwback in the past. The missions are not even fun. I tried my best to enjoy the multiplayer too but it sucks too. Every thing is bad about this COD.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard was a major disappointment and letdown for something that could have been so much more. I was hopeful that after the mediocre attempt of creating a boots-on-the-ground WWII shooter with CoD: WWII that Sledgehammer would be able to learn from their previous mistakes and release a truly amazing WWII shooter.
    The promotional material for the game before its release    Call of Duty: Vanguard was a major disappointment and letdown for something that could have been so much more. I was hopeful that after the mediocre attempt of creating a boots-on-the-ground WWII shooter with CoD: WWII that Sledgehammer would be able to learn from their previous mistakes and release a truly amazing WWII shooter.
    The promotional material for the game before its release only increased my hopefulness. Seeing how the campaign would apparently take place over multiple fronts. But unfortunately, for reasons explained below, these hopes were lost once the game was released and I started playing it.

    First, campaign. It felt extremely disappointing, disconnected, unfinished, not interesting, and unmemorable. It felt more like a small expansion to the CoD: WWII campaign than its own separate and full campaign. None of the characters were particularly interesting and neither was the story. This meant I never really cared for any of the characters or their attempt to give their backstories. Nor was I particularly interested in the story.

    Multiplayer wasn't exactly better. When I had originally played multiplayer with bots. There were many issues with its pathfinding on certain maps (getting stuck at certain sections.) Additionally, I was getting latency issues even though it was a private match with no other players.

    Finally, Zombies. It was, like the rest of the game, a huge letdown. The idea of giving the zombies idea a new spin was interesting though it was executed terribly. Leading to many classic features that players have come to know and love being completely absent from the game. It was interesting and fun to play a few times but honestly, I prefer the more traditional style of zombies in previous installments.

    Overall I would never recommend picking up Vanguard if you're looking for a good WWII shooter. If you really want a newer WWII shooter I would recommend picking up CoD: WWII instead with its much better story, multiplayer, and zombie game mode that is closer to the traditional style of zombies. I would also recommend getting CoD: World At War with its amazing story that introduces us to some memorable characters, an amazing multiplayer, and a classic zombies game mode (the first CoD to feature such game mode)    … Expand

A buggy mess of a game, an insult to ANYONE who has fought in WWII and any countries featured here, and a braindead, no-thought, INSULT zombies gamemode. Campaign was HORRIBLE. And while the pre-rendered cutscenes are honestly, actually REALLY GOOD to be honest, look at a 2020 game Like COD: Cold War,If you think COD: Vanguard is a good game.     Vanguard not only brings a whole lot more launch content and improvements than previous Call of Duty titles, by dint of a superior multiplayer experience, a solid and spectacular campaign and a more accessible but just as fun zombie mode.

    The biggest problem is CoD: Vanguard feels like the least innovative Call of Duty in years. I think a lot of that has to do with Warzone, and the fact that developers HAVE to ensure that their game can be compatible with that battle royale. The fact that so much has to go into making sure it all works together; I just feel like it has to be hampering the developer’s creativity. In my opinion Call of Duty as a whole need to take a year off and regroup, come back with something as memorable as the original Modern Warfare was when it launched. If it’s a matter of money (and I doubt that it is) developers could lean into Warzone, they already are making a killing on all the microtransactions but just update Warzone like Epic does for Fortnite. Then after a year surprise people with something fantastic… I know this will never happen, but a man can dream.
