    Game was unfinished and with a pandemic it is understandable it was buggy, but i found joy in the campaign and zombies mode. Problems arise as you look at map selection there are less maps then some of the older installments in the black ops series. Majority of those maps underperform and fall into having to much open space and no three lane maps.     This Game was breaking people’s console and almost broke mine. Avoided zombies because of all the bugs. The campaign was literally 6-7 hours of rushed gameplay with bugs that crashed my console twice. SBMM makes multiplayer matches unbearable, you have to camp to get a decent score. Activism only cares about selling their season passes. Gave a 1 - The game crashed my console twice b - SBMMThis Game was breaking people’s console and almost broke mine. I've played CoD since Modern Warfare (2007) and this is the first time I actually don't want to play the game at all. Do not buy unless they update HEAVILY.     This Call of Duty title is a big mistake, poor graphics, poor game mechanics (caracters run like some super zombies), all weapons are the same, poor audi, no recoil. don`t have words, like a pre-alpha build even worse. made for 8 year old children.     I don't know where to start I've never reviewed anything online ever in my life but I felt so strongly that this is the biggest turd in the punch bowl I have ever seen and the fact that all these other supposed review sites are just telling the game

    Thank you for damaging modern warfare activision, good **** marketing move, skip this one guys. Do it for bo4, do it for cold war, do it for better games.

    Garbage game, SBMM is trash, i went 72-19 then boom, 22-39. Guns are so unbalanced, zombies is insanely repetitive with same map over and over, all maps are trash multiplayer maps except for 4, only reason why it gets a 2 is campaign is amazing but it’s so freaking short.

    I truly regret buying this game because it is a **** mess. The graphics are not that good to begin with, but the bugs will destroy your experience. The graphics constantly glitches out through the game. The graphics first starts to get blurry and less detailed, then the shadows gets messed up. Then you are able to see through walls and see nothing but floating guns shooting at eachI truly regret buying this game because it is a **** mess.     I created an account on here to hopefully alert someone to how TERRIBLE this game is before they buy it. It without a doubt the worst call of duty I have ever played...the contrast in multiplayer makes it hard to spot other players, their HUD information is WAY too large, no mounting, they completely changed how perks, attachments work and effect your weapons.     The game is not stable. Freezes during gameplay and throws to the dashboard. During 10 games, 5 are lost due to failure of the game. The most unstable and pissing off game I've played this year.

    With a brilliant zombies and a ok campaign, the multiplayer fails this game very very much, with the skilled based matchmaking and the unbalanced guns which makes this game require no skill what so ever, is just a disaster from the get go.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the definition of a mediocre game. The campaign was alright, nothing groundbreaking but interesting nonetheless. With a story that keeps you interested. Now we get to the meat of the game, the multiplayer! First things first for the first month it felt bare and boring but with the beginning of season 1 it finally feels like a “full game”. However it does lack a lot of map variety and the sbmm has many flaws. The zombies is the best overall part of this game but with only one map it falls short.… Expand

    Pc score for this game is unavailable for a reason.... I have a 5800x CPU and 3080 GPU. There is zero reason for there to be crashes this frequently on my end, thus it must be a TERRIBLY optimized game. Even a COD pros are crashing frequently. A triple A game should not have this issue.

    PC players clean house against console players.
    Constant corner jumping.
    Crashes constantly on the Xbox One X.
    Zombies and campaign only redeeming qualities, but gets repetitive fast.

    Absolute trash. I've never liked pvp in a cod game since black ops 2 and Mw3. The zombies mode is also an extreme disappointment lacking any kind of creativity or substance. The single zombies map and half assed Easter egg made me return the game before season 1 of the modern warfare continuation Happened. This "game" is not worth $60 and isn't worth my time.

    I solely created this account to rate this game 0/10 Worse then modern warfare in every department from weapon variety to the camos that barely exist to the gameplay and don’t even get me started on the bugs. Just don’t do the same mistake I and a lot of other people made and buy this pre alpha of a call of duty because it’s a complete waste of money.

    SBMM has ruined all potential for this game. Cold War could have been a turning point for CoD. The obvious dismissal of signal based matchmaking for Skill based matchmaking has completely ruined the online experience. Don't buy this game.

    UI is trash, gameplay is trash, movement is trash, sound design is trash, animations are trash, and footstep sounds are basically non existent.

    Overall I wouldn't have payed 5 dollars for this game if I knew it was going to be this bad, it is completely terrible and I have basically nothing good to say about it and had 0 fun whatsoever in my few hours of playing.

    The devs should be ashamed for releasing a game of this level of quality. MW 2019 may have its flaws, but it is, quite literally - 10000x better than this ****    … Expand

    Overall, despite some performance issues, I rather enjoyed the mercenaries, spies and private eyes campaign that is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. I’d like to see the development team get a chance to really flesh out a longer campaign in this style, but you know…the call of duty.

    With an entertaining campaign, great online opportunities and panic-stricken zombie slaughter, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is an impressive package. Still, we can not help but feel disappointed. The best parts of the campaign could have been developed much more and the online modes feel well stripped down. Cold War still impresses, but with more development time, it could have been so much more than "this year's Call of Duty game".
