Nov 6, 2024My recommendation is that you play it, there is nothing like it currently on the market and even if you don't like an action-packed story, the campaign will devour you until you finish it. For me, Black Ops 6 is a big YES, a vindication that the brand is still alive and setting the pace for the rest. And now, it's included at launch on Game Pass.

Dec 3, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a stellar addition to the franchise, with its multiplayer and zombies’ modes offering countless hours of entertainment. The game successfully combines smooth gameplay, strategic depth, and immersive storytelling, making it a must-play for fans and newcomers alike. Although the campaign has room for improvement when it comes to character development, it still provides a bombastic and thrilling narrative that complements the other modes. Overall, Black Ops 6 is a testament to the enduring appeal and continual innovation of the Call of Duty series.
-
Dec 2, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is undoubtedly the best installment in the series in many years. A two-faceted FPS, it is capable of both capturing the attention of those seeking a quality single-player experience thanks to an engaging and spectacular campaign, and of putting in the hands of fans a multiplayer experience a range of modes and challenge types capable of satisfying the community's enormous appetite both in the immediate and long term.

Nov 12, 2024Some may grow tired of the year Call of Duty entries, and I’ll admit, they’re usually hit-or-miss for myself as well, but I’ve been thoroughly enjoying all Black Ops 6 has to offer. Campaign is one of the best in years, Zombies being round based is the correct move, and multiplayer feels solid overall.
-
Oct 30, 2024Overall, then, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a massive success for Xbox. This year's COD is packed with content across its three main modes, and Game Pass players will be able to enjoy this one for months - especially when additional seasonal content starts to release. Raven Software's campaign mode is a blast, multiplayer is the best it's been in years, and while Zombies isn't what it once was in our book, it's still a fun third mode to mess around with. If Call of Duty can continue to remain this high-quality each year, Microsoft has a winner on its hands, but for now let's just enjoy Black Ops 6 for what it is - a cracking COD game and a fine example of a console FPS.
-
Oct 29, 2024The Zombies, multiplayer, and campaign are all presented with impressive graphics that ensure Call of Duty remains one of the best-looking games on the market. Breathtaking lighting, highly-detailed maps, smooth as butter frame rate, and next-level audio design come together expertly, solidifying Black Ops 6 as the best Call of Duty game in years. Black Ops 6's post-launch support should mean that the game only gets better with time, but what's available at launch is already fantastic and will keep franchise fans entertained for months on end.
-
Nov 5, 2024When you buy a Call of Duty, you have some idea of what to expect. Rest assured that Black Ops 6 lies at the better end of the series' spectrum, boasting a varied campaign that's well worth playing, a pair of robust and endlessly replayable Zombies maps, and multiplayer that remains immediate and immensely entertaining.
-
Nov 4, 2024All in all, this year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 had a lot riding on its shoulders; big return after a poor showing last year, and the first big release straight into Game Pass. That it has come out this well in campaign and MP is no small feat, and no matter if you buy it or play on subscription, you’re almost guaranteed to have a good time. The campaign is the usual action blockbuster but shows promise for the future in its slower, more open-ended areas, and the MP is the best it’s been (in my casual eyes) for over a decade.
-
Oct 30, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 removes whatever imaginary stench Modern Warfare III left behind by revitalizing the franchise with a standout campaign, engaging multiplayer, and a nostalgic yet innovative Zombies experience. The seamless launch with minimal issues speaks to the 4-year development cycle, resulting in one of the most polished COD entries at launch in recent memory. The campaign’s rich narrative, enjoyable mechanics, and sheer variety adds depth and excitement to the single-player experience. Meanwhile, the multiplayer mode strikes a perfect balance between familiarity and fresh gameplay, ensuring that both new and returning players feel right at home. With its return to classic round-based Zombies, Black Ops 6 successfully appeals to long-time fans while offering enough new content to keep everyone invested all year round. Overall, this installment not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Oct 31, 2024Treyarch had a full four years to develop its new Call of Duty, and, with no surprise, it's the best in recent years. The studio had time to refine a movement system that will likely redefine the series' standards going forward. They've paired a fast-paced, fun multiplayer with an outstanding campaign, and Zombie is as close to the golden days of Black Ops as it gets. And yet, it's available with a Game Pass subscription. For us, that's a pretty good deal.
-
Oct 30, 2024After an excellent campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 signs a multiplayer and Zombie just as successful. These are even the best online modes for a long time, carried by a new movement system that will stick to your skin. Everything, absolutely everything has been the subject of the care of the Treyarch teams, from the gameplay to the maps, through the progression system and of course, the legendary Zombie. It's been a long time since we've seen Call of Duty in such shape, and it's great fun. An episode not to be missed, that's for sure.

Oct 29, 2024Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is a spectacular return to form, after Modern Warfare 3 fumbled blurring the line between expansion and sequel. We were ready for something different, and that’s exactly what it has delivered with speedy and satisfying multiplayer and a highly engaging and well-paced espionage thriller campaign that’s one of the best in the Call of Duty series. With excellent gunplay across all modes and an addictive combat loop, Black Ops 6 is the best Call of Duty game so far this console generation.
-
Dec 10, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, is another Call of Duty game. It’s everything you’ve come to expect from one at this point. A solid, if underwhelming single-player campaign that doesn’t push the bar in any way but doesn’t have any real major faults either. Tacked onto a live-service multiplayer experience that is more or less the same as its predecessors.
-
Nov 4, 2024Call of Duty Black Ops 6 turned out to be a very pleasant surprise in 2024. This is the first game of the series in recent years, which was developed thoroughly and expertly. As a result - the output is a really strong shooter.
-
Nov 4, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a great Call of Duty game when those are growing fewer and further between. It’s the best Call of Duty game on the latest generation of consoles, and it’s available to play on Xbox and PC via Xbox Game Pass. Last year’s COD might’ve been the biggest rip off of 2023, but Black Ops 6 stands as the most robust FPS release of 2024. Enjoy it while it lasts, because there’s no guarantee the series will reach these highs ever again.
-
Nov 4, 2024Black Ops 6 proves that the Call of Duty series is here to stay, and hopefully, it’ll get even better from here on out.
-
Oct 30, 2024Zombies is great this year as usual. The single player is very entertaining, although some missions are a bit boring towards the end. The multiplayer is polarizing. Known problems (spawns, bullet registration) have not been addressed. Although the new way of moving allows for very spectacular actions, the high pace also ensures a high entry threshold. Black Ops 6 is a good Call of Duty as a total package, but will not convince dropped out players. Black Ops 6 is too safe for that - even for a Call of Duty.
-
Oct 29, 2024Black Ops 6 is easily the best Call of Duty campaign in years and one of the year’s best first-person shooters. It strays from what one might expect from a Call of Duty campaign (an onslaught of set pieces with a few moments of respite to break up the action) in favor of an anthology of cool and memorable ideas for levels. Its story doesn’t go anywhere Call of Duty hasn’t before, but the variety of its mission design more than make up for it.
-
Oct 29, 2024Black Ops 6 is a surprisingly thrilling installment of the Call of Duty series, and it's clear here that an extra year of work has resulted in a much more interesting and thoughtful product. The campaign makes a very positive impression, offering varied missions in locations scattered around the globe, the multiplayer is satisfying (largely thanks to Omnimovement), and the Zombies mode makes you want to return, despite some repetitiveness.
-
Oct 28, 2024Treyarch has righted the ship with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This is the Call of Duty game that Microsoft and Activision needed for a day one Game Pass launch, as it has a strong and thrilling Campaign, a tight and streamlined Multiplayer, and a fun and nostalgic Zombies experience too.
-
Nov 21, 2024If you don't play all Call of Duty games in a row, but pick the best one every few years, then Black Ops 6 is the first contender for your money and time.
-
Nov 5, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a better game than the other more recent Call of Duty games, but if you hark back to the classics like MW2 and the original Black Ops games, then you won't find it reaching those same heights.

Oct 25, 2024An excellent string of missions that offer variety and flexibility come together to make the best Call of Duty campaign in many, many years. Black Ops 6 is a fantastic return to form for the series, allowing the designers at Raven to delve deep into their bag of tricks and keep you guessing at every turn. It successfully makes each chapter distinct from one another, whilst maintaining a strong level of quality across the board. Packing a thoroughly engaging story that gets better the longer it goes on, it exceeds expectations regarding level design and creativity, showing that when given the time to craft them properly, CoD campaigns still have what it takes to be up there with the best first-person shooters. [Campaign Review Score = 90]

Oct 25, 2024There is still a long way for me to go, and lots of areas Black Ops 6 can drop the ball from here. That’s even before we get to multiplayer and Zombies. All of that will come in our full review. However, often you get a ‘vibe’ for a good Call Of Duty game early on. A feeling that this could be one of the more important entries in the franchise. Right now, I’m starting to get the tingling. [Campaign Review]

Oct 25, 2024Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Campaign is excellent. While the story might not be perfect it was just logical enough to keep me happy. It’s available at launch for Xbox Game Pass Console, PC, and Ultimate members on Cloud, Console, and PC. I’d only recommend a purchase if you’re into the MP and Zombies as well, as $70 is a big ask. Still, if you’re looking to shoot the ever loving shit out of a lot of people, there’s nothing quite like a good Call of Duty campaign. It helps that this one is great. [Campaign Review Score = 85]
