Oct 22, 2023Bud Spencer & Terence Hill: Slaps And Beans 2 is a solid, fun and rewarding title as well as a true love letter to the two cult actors. If you're looking for a side-scrolling fighting game that will entertain you with pleasure, this one might just have all the credentials to win you over.

Sep 28, 2023Completing the main story in any of the 3 available difficulties is once again a 3-4 hour affair, but the game doesn’t quite end there. If you loved the minigames from the campaign, these can also be played in local co-op up to a combination of 4 human or AI players, either picking specific activities yourself or letting it assign us a random one with combined scores across all of them at the end to declare a winner. As said, these minigames range from decent to poor, with a handful of convoluted rules, unoptimal controls, unreliable hitboxes and so on hampering the experience. It certainly ain’t no Mario Party and it won’t be a mainstay in evenings with your friends, but it can be a decent way to pass the time for an hour or two, adding a bit more meat to the package.

Oct 12, 2023Slaps and Beans 2 deserves to have its day. It is not the best scrolling beat ’em up out there but it does enough to stand out. It has voice acting and animation which the others don’t have. It has some mini-games and puzzling elements which make it stand out. It also tries to add some humour to make the experience more enjoyable. So if you want to play a local beat ’em up with your friend or family then why not pick this up as there is some fun to be had.

Oct 6, 2023Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps And Beans 2 is not a bad game, and will especially appeal to fans of the legendary Italian duo. Compared to the first game, it has been expanded and improved in many ways, but it also has some nasty bugs that detract from the overall experience.

Oct 26, 2023Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps and Beans 2 feels like there is an in-joke going on, and I have no idea what it is. The story is absolutely ridiculous, but it feels like this is a deliberate choice. From there, it’s a mixed bag - the action on offer in the main part of the game is dull and repetitive, the mini games are a lot better, and the rest is pretty forgettable, to be honest.
