The more one plays Blue Prince, the more enthralling it becomes. The thrill of finding an item that opens the door to new possibilities in previously-searched rooms is hard to match, and unraveling the game's mysteries is an experience that all gamers should seek out. Blue Prince is the new king of puzzle games and is quite simply can't-miss.

It is an impeccably made work of absolute genius, and the team at Dogubomb and Game Director Tonda Ros have worked magic here. As I said at the start of this review, I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever played. Without a doubt a shoe-in for indie darling of the year, I’d give it an 11 out of 10 if I could.

More than just an excellent representative of the adventure genre, Blue Prince is proof that a game doesn't need a combat system or require quick reflexes to be challenging from start to finish. The title developed by the Dogubomb studio and published by Raw Fury is on the same level of quality as young classics such as Return of the Obra Dinn and What Remains of Edith Finch, requiring players to pay great attention to detail in order to proceed through a mansion that will take us down different paths each day, requiring constant adaptability. Full of mysteries and with a story that surprises from start to finish, Blue Prince is a brilliant chapter in adventure games and, even with a smaller scope, has everything it takes to be remembered as one of the best releases of 2025.

Blue Prince is a masterpiece. All the different elements, the story, the gameplay and the overarching puzzles work in tandem to create an incredible piece of art that can only exist as a videogame. It obviously might not be for everyone but if you can entertain the idea of jumping into an extremely well made puzzle game then it should be Blue Prince without any doubt.

Maybe the roguelike elements will annoy, and sometimes luck plays a bigger part than any thoughtful decision making, but even if you do reach the end, Blue Prince will continue to reveal a host more secrets.

Blue Prince is an excellent, intricate, and intriguing puzzle game that will have you thinking about solutions even when not playing it. While there's some minor foibles, coming across a puzzle and scrolling through your notes for an answer from previous runs is very satisfying. Blue Prince is one of the best puzzle game available.

On the blueprint, Blue Prince is a simple title: You have a large mansion in which each door hides a decision. Choose between the three room options and create a path to the goal before the day ends and you have to start all over again. Its roguelike elements hide behind this simple proposal an ambitious puzzle game that can become unhinged, although if you manage to connect with it, it will drive you crazy with love.
