    The gameplay loop is solid, but there are quite a few bugs that need to be patched before Blade Assault could be classed as a truly good game.

    This is could be a really solid game if it wasn´t full of bugs. the choices you make hardly mean anything. for example: invest in a revive,This is could be a really solid game if it wasn´t full of bugs. the choices you make hardly mean anything. for example: invest in a revive, level it all the way up to revive with 80% only to be revived with 1 hp which is completely useless -.- invest in having more core choices, only to find out that no matter which one you pick you only get the same ice one -.- the gambit system is broken, it hardly works, ever.
    theres a danger level system that gives massive buffs to your enemies and debuffs to yourself. you can reduce that level for a massive cost. and some situations you might find it useful to do so but a few seconds later it´s back up to an even higher level so theres no point in doing so. you can get upgrades with a specific risk to raise that danger level but there´s no point in not taking those risks since the danger level is going straight to the max no matter what. so you might as well take them all. although that one doesn´t really seem to be a bug but just a poorly balanced system.
    i can live with the pretty frequent stutters, sometimes the whole screen freezes for half a second, but what i can´t live with is that you don´t get what you choose. half the fun of a good rogue like is building up your playstyle, carefully weighing this upgrade against that, should i invest my scarce resources? does it play well with my other upgrades? can i get synergies out of that one should i go for pure dps or a tank build or somethign in between. you wanna play around with it. but you can´t since half of the upgrades just don´t work or simply don´t do what´s in the description. the numbers don´t add up. i got this on release with all the bugs present, and thought all right it´s still a bug fest i got other stuff to play. but now, almost 2 months after release, there´s still nothing fixed, which leads me to believe it never will.    … Full Review »
