    Such a cute game!

    Barry The Bunny is a classic 8 Bit style 2D platform game where you play as, yep you guessed it, Barry The Bunny. Barry must complete each level over 4 worlds saving his lost and stuck bunny friends. Throughout the levels there are 3 pieces of wood that you can collect and once all 2 have been obtained you can then rescue your bunny friend by building a bridge so that    Such a cute game!

Barry must complete each level over 4 worlds saving his lost and stuck bunny friends. Throughout the levels there are 3 pieces of wood that you can collect and once all 2 have been obtained you can then rescue your bunny friend by building a bridge so that he or she can cross and get home.

    As I said above, that you can collect, yes you dont have to collect the pieces of wood and save your friends, you can just jump and run through the level and move onto the next one. Barry has the ability to chuck hammers or tomahawks which I like to refer them as, kinda brings back memory of the first Wonderboy game.

    The game has a normal and easy mode that you can choose from and a delightful little soundtrack that you would expect from a game like this. Is overall a easy game but there are some parts that might make you get a little frustrated at times. I found that it was kinda difficult to control Barry's jumping and landing and sometimes getting too close to spikes when you think your safe can be a pain too. I also encounter a couple of glitches in the game where Barry would be climbing a ladder and then get stuck i at the top side the wall area. This was resolved by just restarting the game and lucky there is the auto save after each level!

    The good thing about this game apart from it being just damn right old skool, when you collect the pieces of wood and then die inside that level, when you restart it, the pieces of wood that you have collected are with you so there is no need to recollect them again...hooray!!!

    Overall I had a good time with Barry The Bunny and I would recommend it for anyone looking for some old skool 8bit style fun!

    Barry the Bunny can be completed in under two hours, especially if you are rushing through things. If you’re an achievement hunter then it does give you a quick 1000 Gamerscore, but I don’t think you’ll get much more joy out of it then that. There’s nothing wrong with the game per se, it’s just easy and a bit redundant after a while.

    Barry the Bunny does nothing spectacular here for gaming but you probably didn’t expect it to. It looks like a very basic game and plays as such. Not much meat to this bone but if you are here for achievements or trophies, the completion is just a short game away.
