    I wanted this game to be better. The tone of dialogue is weird, the game crashes at inexplicable points, and the subtitles are impossible to read without being a foot away from the screen. The worst part is, the game is so confusing (mission wise) that I find myself forgetting what I need to do next and why. It’s also fairly arbitrary when combatants die, so you have to just keep whackingI wanted this game to be better.     Una maravilla, de lo mejor que he jugado este año, la mayoría de críticas negativas que he leído no se ajustan a la realidad, y me resulta curioso que se critique su mundo abierto cuando no es un mundo abierto como tal, son zonas de tránsito entre misiones muy amplias

    Achei a história e o enredo do game bem elaborados. Os gráficos no início da jogatina são surpreendentes. Há boas cutscenes. É um game divertido de se jogar após dominar a sua mecanica. Vi poucos bugs tambem. No entanto, os puzzles do jogo chegam a cansar. Durante a exploração do mundo aberto, achei os inimigos bem apelativos, o que pode espantar alguns jogadores mais casuais.

    Story is very interesting, gameplay is also solid. It has little bit of Bioshock kinda vibe.

    Eu comecei a jogar muito empolgado, os gráficos são bons, a história é muito boa porém quando cheguei na área externa eu simplesmente não gostei, pra mim deveria ser todo em ambiente fechado.

    I really enjoyed this game. The strongpoint of this game are the story and the setting which are very interesting and original .The the graphics are good. Also, the soundtrack is amazing. A negative aspect would be the combat, which sometimes becomes clunky and annoying, but nothing gamebraking.

    Man, I wanted to love this so bad. Can’t get past all the game breaking bugs. Most common example is not being able to pull up weapons when being attacked. Do not buy and don’t even download on game pass. Not worth the time.

    atomic heart riesce in un'impresa davvero difficile, quella di realizzare un gioco incredibile, a tal punto che molti credevano fosse un gioco che non esistesse.
    in particolar modo il progetto sembrava poco veritiero per lo storico degli sviluppatori che fino ad allora non avevano fatto nulla, e sembrava impossibile potessero iniziare così bene.
    alla fine il gioco uscì e tutto quello che    atomic heart riesce in un'impresa davvero difficile, quella di realizzare un gioco incredibile, a tal punto che molti credevano fosse un gioco che non esistesse.
    in particolar modo il progetto sembrava poco veritiero per lo storico degli sviluppatori che fino ad allora non avevano fatto nulla, e sembrava impossibile potessero iniziare così bene.
    alla fine il gioco uscì e tutto quello che avevano mostrato si è dimostrato parzialmente vero, scrivo parzialmente perchè rivedendo ora i primissimi trailer era palesemente tutto finto, solo da quando è iniziato ad apparire il logo ps5 e xbox serie x/s i trailer si sono fatti molto più veritieri su quello che effettivamente c'era nel gioco.
    alla fine il gioco è ricucito ad uscire e nonostante una comunicazione non da subito veritiera il titolo risulta essere meraviglioso, anche se l'inesperienza generale dello studio si sente tutta.
    infatti il gioco risulta essere tremendamente grezzo. il titolo parte in stile bioshock, ci troveremo a percorrere una bella città in festa sospesa nei cieli dove ben presto qualcosa andrà storto, ma qui ad andare storto saranno anche i tutorial dato che per attivare lo scanner ci verrà detto di premere rb+rb cosa impossibile da fare, fino a che dopo tanti tentativi non capiremo che bisognerà premere rapidamente due volte il tasto rb.
    questo è solo uno dei tanti problemi di poca chiarezza incontrati nel gioco. molto presto si aggiungeranno dei menù inutilmente complessi e spiegati male, o addirittura meccaniche che non ci verranno dette, come ad esempio come usare le munizioni elementari, meccanica che ho dovuto usare una guida per capire.
    ma meccaniche a parte il gioco prosegue bene sembrando una specie di erede spirituale di bioshock, sia per l'ambientazione sia per il gameplay, incentrato sul fatto di poter sparare poteri da una mano.
    tutto prosegue bene fino a quando non si completa la prima grossa zona, una volta usciti dalla struttura ci aspetta una piccola parte un po più aperta.
    la zona si suddivide in qualche casa e decine di decine di nemici, questi nemici verranno tutti allertati se una delle infinite telecamere ci vedrà, e se distruggiamo una macchina o una telecamera ci saranno decine di robot volanti che andranno a ripararli.
    questo porterà davvero grande confusione nel gioco, anche perchè le allerte non attireranno soltanto l'attenzione su di noi, ma verranno inviati dei nemici nuovi in quella zona, creando una sorta di infinito loop dove sarà impossibile trovarci da soli ad esplorare con calma.
    una volta terminata questa traumatica esperienza, scopriremo che quella zona era solo l'inizio, e che ora ci sarebbe stata una più grande zona open world disseminata da diversi accampamenti con questa struttura.
    fortunatamente questa sensazione dura ben poco, iniziando a capire che questa mappa non è così vasta e che servirà solo per spostarci nelle zone principali, facendola sembrare più una sorta di open map.
    la parte open map non risulta essere derivativa o troppo dispersiva.
    e anzi il fatto di trovarsi in una zona più ampia ci permetterà di eliminare le varie telecamere da lontano diminuendo il rischio di essere scoperti, e se dovesse capitare la possibilità di allontanarsi rende il tutto meno confusionario rispetto alla zona iniziale.
    in questa mappa oltre ai luoghi di trama ci saranno dei luoghi chiamati terreni di prova.
    zone dove dovremo risolvere alcune stanze con alcune idee veramente interessanti, in queste zone si cambierà quasi genere trovandoci in una sorta di portal.
    e seppur il titolo si poteva fare meglio è davvero incredibile veder riuscire concretizzare un titolo che unisce bioshock e portal in una mappa open map e farlo così bene.
    il gameplay seppur parte lentamente, con più ci potenziamo con più ci permetterà di riuscire a gestire i vari nemici, e a differenza di bioshock ci sarà anche un tasto per le schivate, permettendo scontri un po più divertenti.
    anche se non si raggiunge mai i livelli folli visti in un doom dove correre per tutta l'arena, anzi in questo titolo mi è capitato in più occasioni di rimanere incastrato nello scenario, o dai nemici che mi chiudono al muro e non riesco a fuggire.ma problemi a parte, in generale il gameplay diverte e anche tanti.
    atomic heart è un titolo strano, un titolo che parte in maniera estremamente difficile, dove non ti viene spiegato nulla.
    ma che con più ore gli dedichi con più diventi bravo, e quelle difficoltà riesci a superarle.
    un titolo che se si avrà la voglia di giocarlo avrà tantissimo da offrire.
    un titolo non rifinito in tutti i suoi aspetti, ma che riesce a fare qualcosa che nessuno poteva immaginare di vedere proposto con la qualità con la quale è stato fatto, in una prima produzione da uno studio sconosciuto.

    Game is fun and exploration (testing grounds) is well rewarded, also weapons are awesome, story is meh and gameplay is good in general, a good game i hope i can see ore of this universe in the future.

    Played on day one. I consider it a really great game. The shooting is beautiful, the rafting of the weapons is beautiful, the story is beautiful, the settings are beautiful ... the farming is wonderful, collecting objects with the glove is a real pleasure. Extraordinary dubbing (in Italian), from applause. Net of a few bugs (which can be solved with a few patches, an unmissable gamePlayed on day one. I consider it a really great game. The shooting is beautiful, the rafting of the weapons is beautiful, the story is beautiful, the settings are beautiful ... the farming is wonderful, collecting objects with the glove is a real pleasure. Extraordinary dubbing (in Italian), from applause. Net of a few bugs (which can be solved with a few patches, an unmissable game for me (especially in the game pass).     En cuanto a la jugabilidad es super entretenida y muy ágil y bueno tienes bastantes poderes podemos decir aunque solo puedes usar dos mientras luchas digamos. No le encuentro mucha pega , diría que es de esos juegos que jugar a 120hz tiene que ser una pasada .

    Gráficamente el juego luce muy bien no puedo poner ninguna pega la primera persona le sienta genial y la inteligencia Artificial me parece muy destacable no creo que hayan muchas IA mas inteligentes , te detectan desde bastante lejos.

    Juego muy completo el juego dura alrededor de 20h si vas a saco a por las misiones principales .

    Como aspectos negativos diría :
    - Que el mundo abierto esta poco aprovechado muy poco , pero se lo puedes justificar por todo lo demás .
    - En el mundo abierto no puede ser que tengas casi 30 robots persiguiéndote y que haya robots que reparen a otros robots y teniendo que volver a luchar con ellos . La idea no esta mal pero creo que tendrían que haber limitado eso .

    Como ultimo apunte creo que es destacable, esta empresa es nueva y ha hecho un grandísimo juego , será interesante ver que van sacando    … Expand

    cool world, cool story, thats about it. Combat is so fuxking, wonky game bugs out 50% of the time. Ive had to quit out to main menu losing 30 mins each of playtime having to replay **** gameplay. Personal pet peeve of mine but unless I am playing a puzzle game I dont want any fuxking puzzles in my combat game, call me nit picky but if in the middle of me trashing mutants and robots, I havecool world, cool story, thats about it.     Amazing game. It is simply the best game I have played this year. I am replaying it now. A masterpiece, extremely fun, atmospheric…recommendation: play it in the Russian language with English subs.
    Started playing in Gamepass and will purchase it as a thank you to this studio.

There is one point that I found honestly quite bad - in several parts of the game, there is a terrible glitch that makes your character get stuck in the terrain or somewhere in the game. About 5 or 6 times, my character got stuck trying to pass through a rock in a way that it couldn't get out. In another passage, after farming for more than an hour in a certain location, when I recovered my save, I realized that my character wouldn't be able to leave the location because one of the robots he eliminated had its carcass in front of the door, blocking the character's exit from the structure. For over an hour, I tried all possible options, including levitation, bazooka shots, calling other enemies, and nothing worked. I had to keep trying to recover previous saves, but they all brought me to the same situation. Only the last save restored the game to a previous location, and I lost hours of gameplay because of this... In another situation, near the end of the game, after facing two bosses, which were quite difficult, my character got stuck to the back of a truck and I had to restart the entire level and face the two bosses again... very frustrating!! It would have been very important for the developers to have fixed this before the game's release... I believe that some people may get really upset about this, to the point of giving up on finishing the game. Overall, it's a good game and I will certainly want to buy a sequel when it's released. My recommendation is that everyone plays it, but with the patience and perspective that in some parts, due to this terrain glitch, some levels will need to be repeated...… Expand

The gameplay is certainly not the strongest side here, sometimes you feel that for Mundfish this is the first game.Atomic Heart is perhaps the most successful and largest game release in the post-Soviet space. I am surprised how a product of this level and quality was able to appear in Russia. At the same time, Atomic Heart stands out for its Soviet atmosphere and magnificent soundtrack. The gameplay is certainly not the strongest side here, sometimes you feel that for Mundfish this is the first game. But the shooter mechanics in the game are excellent, and this is the most important thing in the game of this genre. Atomic Heart is a great game as a debut, I really hope that Mundfish will not stop and release the same quality DLC for the game, and the sequel will be even better.     From the start, this game captivated me with its beautiful world and premise. It all looks and sounds very nice. The presentation is, in fact, the best thing it offers.

    Great artstyle, cool animations, an amazing soundtrack, creepy enemies, crazy abilities and even crazier weapons. It was all off to a good start. Hell, even the jokes were fun, ocasionally. But... the more I played the more I disliked it.

    For every good thing in Atomic Heart, there are two equally bad things. That feeling only got worse by the time I watched the credits roll. The enemy variety got stale, the semi-open world got boring, the interior environments got repetitive, puzzles were obnoxious, melee combat became a joke, the difficulty spiked out of nowhere, the sense of pregression halted... the magic just died.

    Honestly, the story was the only thing that, in my opinion, got better as I moved forward, but that was ultimately held back by bad character development, poor storytelling (like dumping major plot points on you while robots kept jumping in your face), empty endings and a gameplay that just didn't seem to hold up! I can't quite put my finger on why, but I started to loathe how its slow and cumbersome system plays and, especially, its inconsistent pace.

    And those bosses? My god, they were insufferable! I'm not kidding when I say that this game would improve, like, 30% if they fixed boss fights. Almost all of them felt annoying, frustrating and, most of all, unrewarding. The only ones I enjoyed were the two final battles. Pack this with the amount of dreadful puzzles you encounter in the game and you have yourself a very tedious experience. And not all of the puzzles were bad. Some were quite clever. But there were A LOT of them and A LOT of unnecessary and recurring ones.

    One of the puzzles even made me play SNAKE, FOR **** SAKE...

    Atomic Heart's real problem lies in its identity crisis. It was almost as if the game tried to be other great FPS games. It wanted to be Wolfenstein, Bioshock, Fallout, Duke Nukem, Dishonored, Half Life and it managed to be nothing. Not even its own thing.

    There is fun to be had here. But very little. It's cool to try this out if you have Gamepass. If you don't, just don't waste your time.    … Expand

    amazing visually and great puzzles.. only thing if I had a grumble, the map is a little awkward to navigate and at points your looking for something to use or link up to and there's nothing around. I am really enjoying it and would recommend getting it as its on game pass. also enemy's are way more agile and can move quicker than you can... keep health pods as much as you can.

    The best Bioshock-like game I've played since Bioshock infinite. The graphic is modern and impressive even without HDR and ray tracing. The testing ground is like the temple in ZOTW and it has a Metro&Fallout vibe. Great game from Russia. And the idea of this game is ANTI-WAR.

    Fini sur Xbox Series X et ce fut une bonne surprise. Pour un petit studio il faut saluer l'excellent travail accompli. Le jeu est très beau, ultra fluide et vraiment propre techniquement. Les personnages humains mériteraient une meilleure modélisation et la synchro labiale est un peu aux fraises mais le taff est excellent.

    Ses défauts: des bugs de collision (si vous cherchez à escalader des montagnes, vous allez en baver et allez souvent être bloqué dans le décors), un open world assez simpliste et peu intéressant (sauf les sites de recherches très sympa où la réflexion prime sur l'action) et une redondance des situations.

    Quoiqu'il en soit, il dispose de suffisamment de qualités pour en faire un très bon FPS qui sort du lot, des boss bien sympa, une super ambiance, une bande son excellente, un scénario plus intelligent qu'on pourrait le croire, et un potentiel intéressant pour créer des suites plus travaillées. So I got to play quite a few bad to unplayable games over the years.     As a reference I want to note that I've collected experience working as an author for several gaming websites, writing Guides and Reviews for video games for roughly 3 years. So I got to play quite a few bad to unplayable games over the years. Atomic Heart is absolutely far removed from being a 0/10 or anything below 5/10. I suggest ignoring these reviews as it has to be assumed that - as always - gamers overexaggarate massively on the one hand and on the other hand, many of the negative reviews make untrue claims about this game being somehow Soviet or Russian "propaganda". That claim is simply untrue and shows that these people didn't play the game, as the USSR is depicted as an evil faction, especially towards the end of the game. Now that we addressed that, let's get to the actual game.

    The game is overall a pretty solid although flawed first entry by a new, eastern European developer. As such it is simply a very impressive achievement that the game runs pretty good for the most part. Had 60 FPS most of the time on Xbox Series X and while there were some very annoying bugs, it's extremely polished when compared to buggy AAA-releases by established developers such as Ubisoft or CD Project Red.

    The Gameplay has some balancing issues. The game is unfortunately pretty bad at explaining gameplay-mechanics, which leads to a lot of confusion in the beginning hours. Furthermore, the combat becomes very trivial once you learned the combat mechanics and collected some of the more powerful abilities and guns. It would be nice if the developers could add another difficulty setting. Controls are fine, albeit a bit weird at first because the character moves rather slow when strafing. Luckily you have a Dash ability.

    The enemy variety is very solid and the robotic enemies in particular have some pretty amazing designs and animations. Very smooth indeed and very memorable. Their danger is unfortunately damaged by the unbalanced difficulty. However, it is fun at all times to fight the enemies. Shooting is solid - it's nowhere as good as for example Doom Eternal but it's solid overall. The melee works fine, although it doesn't have really any depth to it. It's most comparable to Dead Island or Dying Light 2, although lacking the block function.

    The graphics as well as the general art style are simply amazing. They absolutely nailed the looks. It does indeed look like a game that could have been very well developed within the USSR if it still existed.

    The story is overall pretty interesting with some cool twists and tons of worldbuilding and very cool lore. However, the storytelling itself kind of falls flat. Most of it is thrown at the player in sometimes very tedious dialogues between the main character and Charles. The cutscene quality varies from good to hilariously akward. I assume that has mostly to do with the developers inexperience.

    The "open-world" is more like a hub that you transition to get to the various Polygons (dungeons) and main mission sites, which mostly take place within some kind of facilities. That's unfortunate but personally I don't mind that the "open-world" is "empty" - I think the market is oversaturated with time-consuming 200 hour Open-world experiences, that are just as empty but throw dozens of collectibles and generic side-quests with badly written characters at the player just to simulate being "filled" (The recent Assassin's Creed titles are a good example for that). If you expect a linear shooter with some optional dungeons then Atomic Heart has you covered.

    The dialogue is often cited as being bad. The dialogue is pretty bad in English. It works rather okay in the Russian dub, although I'd say it still leaves room for improvement.

    Final verdict: Overall Atomic Heart is a solid shooter that has some design flaws that you will have to forgive the game if you want to enjoy it. I can't recommend it to everyone - similarly to Metro or the STALKER games you simply have to go with some of the jankier aspects to really enjoy the game. I think Atomic Heart is an amazing achievement when considering the situation Mundfish found itself in during development. And while the game is surely far from perfect, I'd still consider it a solid game overall and one worth trying out - it's one of the most unique games I got to play in recent years. And most importantly: It lays a great foundation for sequel titles. Atomic Heart needs a sequel - the ingredients for an actual 9.5/10 to 10/10 game are there - here's hope that Atomic Hear 2 - should it come - will be what Mass Effect 2 was to Mass Effect 1.    … Expand

It's a decent game that can be fun at times and can hold you over until the next game your waiting for to release. It definitely is not as fascinating visually, story wise and gameplay wise as was promoted and made to look like. It's a decent game that can be fun at times and can hold you over until the next game your waiting for to release. However, the game is also plagued by a meandering story, some sub par to absolutely atrocious dialogue, and gameplay that is excellent at times but horrendous at others.     The game had promise with a interesting plot and visually appealing aesthetic but is unfortunately let down by horrendous VO/ writing, unwieldy melee combat and poor gameplay. In the end it just feels like a bad bioshock knock off that was written by a 12 year old. I ended up uninstalling after about 4-5hrs of gameplay. Disappointing.

I swear, there are parts of this game that would be indistinguishable from that game if looked at in a still image.

    The game usually nails the atmosphere. It is incredibly unsettling at times, but not quite a horror game. They do a phenomenal job of adding something ominous to environments that would otherwise be beautiful. It doesn't always hit, but when it does, it's pretty great.

    The gameplay is janky as hell and reminds me of the bad aspects of a game like Dying Light. It's playable, but it's not great. The gameplay really leaves a lot to be desired. It's fun a good amount of the time, it's just super underwhelming.

    It doesn't perform very well either. Lots of dropped frames and buggy objectives depending on the area you're in.

    I had ZERO desire to explore the open world. I don't even know if there is side content. I focused completely on the main story. Nothing about this world is compelling. It's mostly similar, ugly-looking areas littered with tons of enemies, and the combat is not good enough that I want to clear out enemies to explore any of the open world. It's a complete clusterheck, and I didn't enjoy it. At all. I found out 6h into the game you could drive, lol. I don't recall it ever being mentioned. But yeah. You can drive. Thanks for telling me. This game wears the influence of so many other games on its sleeve. Little bit of Far Cry, a little bit of Fallout, a good dose of Wolfenstein, a whole lot of Bioshock, etc. Unfortunately, 90% of it is evident in the bad parts. The melee reminded me of the worst aspects of games like Dying Light. The world reminded me of a toned down and bland versions of things seen in Bioshock Infinite, the "powers" were a less fleshed out and borderline useless version of things seen in the OG Bioshock, the gunplay reminded me of Fallout games 10+ years ago, the driving reminded me of the worst driving ever seen in the Far Cry games, the world building and dialog was like a middle-school version of the newer Wolfenstein games.

    I'd recommend a playthrough if it looks intriguing to you, but temper those expectations. This is one of the most mid games I have ever played, and I will not remember anything positive about it in a few weeks.    … Expand

    Gameplay 2/10
    – The game is very easy and casual, increasing the difficulty level doesn’t make the game harder, more interesting: it’s just increasing the number of hits till enemy death. Enemy behavior and attacks are predictable and stupid so the game is not hard on any difficulty level. The compass and points on the screen always tell you where to go, which door to open, who to kill. All the loot highlights 10 meters around you. You don’t have to research anything, even think about what is going on.
    – Door and robot hacking is boring – random rounding of wires and fast button pushing. It is not as fascinating as mini-games in Fallout.
    – Loot system is meaningless – you are just vacuuming some sort of obscure rubbish on the shelves. You even can’t understand what actually you are vacuuming.
    – One of the most boring fighting systems in my life. Ordinary nps, bosses: they all are very predictable, have 2-3 movements and 1 attack type. It’s really absolutely annoying.
    – Dismemberment is useful during a gameplay point of view. You can't cut off your enemy leg/hand during the battle. But when the enemy is dead you can hit him and cut off an extremity. What’s the point of this sort of dismemberment?

    Concept and plot 5/10
    + Soviet entourage, agitation and references like magazine Crocodile are nice, especially together with cyber-theme: soviet-punk. Futuristic design looks unique and well-worked. You will listen to a collection of early and late soviet music and meet famous actors, scientists and politicians of the USSR. So it looks like a really curious point of view on alternate soviet history.
    = Main plot thread is quite interesting but it looks unfinished and raw. Characters are not developing during the game, you can't find their traits, motivation, arcs etc. Plot develops fragmentary and slow because there are a lot of fillers inside.
    – Main character – is an absolutely inadequate rude **** unfunny swearing every minute and humiliating everyone around.

    Visualization 4/10
    = Graphics are not bad, at least in part with gross, trees, water and robots. But shadows and people's faces are ugly.
    – There are only 2-3 faces for all the NPC and the same amount of hairstyles and colors. So that’s why people look like robots too.
    – Except for sexy twins, robots are absolutely boring and expressionless benches of metal.

    Sound 8/10
    + There is a lot of cool soviet music both original and well-remixed. This music well complements the atmosphere in the game. And also there is some classic music which is good too.
    + The dev team is using music as a good tool to highlight important and nervous game moments.
    = Main characters are voiced by professional actors and it sounds really amazing. But all other voices like opening doors, hits and jumping are stingy.    … Expand

    Furthermore, the game's combat is a complete mess. The clunky controls and unresponsive mechanics make it frustrating to fight even the simplest of enemies. The game's AI is also terrible, making it easy to exploit their predictable behavior and making the game feel repetitive and dull.

    Nothing special. Like many others are saying the combat feels very bland, the open world isn't really open, there's only like 6 enemy types in the whole game and it's very short for a full priced game.

    Funny and cringy at the same time. Excellent start for the first game: good fights, design, story, and gun physics. In some areas too much platforming and characters' voices could be better.

While "utopia gone to hell" fiction isn't really a new take, the intent of making everything engineered and have a purpose within the world rather than arbitrary enemy types doing different things. You will feel threatened, back against the wall constantly, scanning before going around any corner or through a locked door. Combat and movement feel solid, barring the game landing you on an awkward slope during a jump or a dash. The story and concepts within have an interesting premise, even if excessive exposition and dialogue causes more disinterest than interest.

    That's literally where the compliments end. Music is good when on, but constantly off pace or just not present. Dialogue and Exposition are extremely detrimental to the ambience of setting the tone, and its far more annoying than interesting. While weapons and items are craftable, I often never needed to really craft anything unless I wanted to experiment, as everything came fairly abundant from the absurd amount of loot raiding. While the terrain map is fairly wide, there isn't anything unique to do other than go facility-to-facility, or risk getting mobbed on the off chance of finding a weapon mod.

    And that's not even mentioning the numerous bugs and issues plaguing the game at the time of this review. Getting stuck between a slope and a rail and considering reloading is probably the worst and most common frustration I had.

    Atomic Heart has it's heart in the right place perhaps. Unfortunately the game feels like a weak imitation of the greats of the genre.    … Expand

    Atomic Heart offers great graphics and enjoyable combat. While the weapon variety is moderate and the story predictable with some cheesy dialogue, the game excels in providing enjoyable character upgrades. Though it may not fully live up to the initial hype, it remains a decent choice for players craving an immersive dystopian game with an incredible soundtrack.

    Atomic Heart surprised me, this is a solid game. And it is very frustrating to see her flaws. I hope that in the sequel, Mundfish will not try to grasp the immensity and focus on what's important.

    Overall, Atomic Heart is an enjoyable FPS title that sadly misses out on being great. From issues that were stated above, Atomic Heart had the potential to be up there with games such as Bioshock, but in the end came up short. While the plot does offer some amazing moments that seem to raise more questions than they answer, Atomic Heart fails to deliver any meaningful reason to go explore and in that reality, shortens the gametime to about 15 hours(ish). Despite all that, did I have fun playing the game? Without question yes. Atomic Heart may not be perfect but it does deliver an enjoyable FPS experience with a plot that will take you on a rollercoaster ride.
