Jul 9, 2026A fantastic game that retains everything that made it great in 2013, with a massive and stunning graphical leap that transports us to a bigger and more vibrant world. It remains, perhaps, the best Assassin's Creed, and it's still the best pirate game to date.

Jul 8, 2026I went into this looking for the flaws and to compare it to the original. After all, if they didn’t improve on it then it would just be another remaster with a fresh coat of paint in order to make people buy the same game as before. But this feels different. Fresh. And boy does it show in the presentation. Ubisoft has really put in some work to make this iconic game look and feel like a new experience. And while I have stated that not every game needs a remake, this one gives me hope that maybe in the future, we might see a “Resync” of my favorite games of the series being the Ezio Trilogy. Please Ubisoft make that happen and I will play that all over again.

Jul 8, 2026Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is an excellent remake that preserves the spirit of the original and expands upon it, blending the philosophy of the series from that era with its more modern evolution. The recreation of the environments is stunning, but the developers could have been a bit more daring in adapting the series’ most recent formula. It takes the AC series a step forward technically, but it relies on gameplay we’ve seen before and lacks real innovation.
