Jun 5, 2023The depth and the difficulty of Age of Wonders 4 - and this is properly hard, be in no doubt - as well as the sheer amount of things to do, ensures this is a great way of losing a few hours, days, weeks or maybe even months.

While neither the 4X gameplay nor the tactical combat reaches the heights and depth of its competitors, the unique blend of familiar elements mixed with emergent story telling makes this a safe bet for any fan of strategy games.
