Zombie Vikings takes an interesting premise and a beautiful art style and squanders them alongside a bulk of other issues. Bugs that should've long ago been patched out before migrating to Xbox, a sense of humor that only induces cringe, and a campaign that overstays its welcome and rewards button-mashing come together to form something fittingly brainless. Minimal simple pleasures might be found here if you and a few friends are looking for just another co-op game, but even then there must be others you haven't yet played that more often reward you in nearly every way.

The humor is quite nice, the artstyle is fun, and the story is funny as well. Only complaint is that there are no combo options in combat. It's just mashing a single button mainly to attack enemies. There are a few other attack options, but it's a bit too simple. Other then that, nice co-op game! Full Review »

Game has a lot of charm. The story is ridiculous but it stays true to itself and flows in a nice manner. The gameplay is a bit repetitiveGame has a lot of charm. The story is ridiculous but it stays true to itself and flows in a nice manner. The gameplay is a bit repetitive but the change in environments, the ability to constantly unlock new gear and upgrades, and the search for side quests help to keep the game fresh. Plush, compared to other indie games, this one lasts a long time. I like the art style by this developer. Very original. I would definitely by a sequel and anything from this developer. Full Review »
