World Enduro Rally on Xbox One is a pretty bad game, but even a bad game can hold certain merits if it’s designed well. Alas, it isn’t. With bland visuals, awful sound design, poor camera work, often unresponsive controls and numerous bugs, this game doesn’t really offer anything of value.

I enjoyed the presentation side of the game and I must admit that I was little surprised by how decent the visuals and sound design were for a value priced title. The physics have been implemented really well and the touch of realism that’s included definitely makes completing a track very rewarding yet not overly cumbersome. Thankfully I didn’t experience many problems at all when it came to the controls because they remained tight and responsive for the most part. You can complete the game rather quickly and it doesn’t really give you a reason to return back to the game after completion, but for $1 who cares right? Sometimes I found that the scenery meshed with the tracks a little too much which made distinguishing the actual track a little difficult to see at certain times. There are a few bugs you have to contend with every now and then and while none of them are major they do harm the immersion levels a little. I completely love the trails series so I was curious what a $1 Trials game would bring to the table, so I didn’t expect World Enduro Rally to be anything on the scale of the Trials games it still interested me a great deal. So in the end, when you factor in price and performance World Enduro Rally definitely gets more right than it gets wrong so that means it does enough to get a recommendation from me for the cost of a dollar menu item. Thumbs up, as value meets a decent game. Expand
