Aug 14, 2022Game between walking simulator and narrative we walk in the house to see what happened to the family of Edith, the game is short, the family stories are nice but we remain without answers at the end of the game in my opinion
-
Jun 30, 2022There is no gameplay. It is a very short game where all you are really doing is walking in a straight line and clicking "next". It's okay to "listen" to the story if you get it for free with gamepass or something else but don't expect a video game.

Apr 27, 2022It's beautiful. Honestly, a magnificent piece of art with some amazing storyline, amazing artworks and surprising gameplay. It's a short game, but it feels great. Discovering the story of each individual character was a great adventure. Very thoughtful gameplay.

Feb 25, 2022Beautiful and unique experience. I thought this game was going to be like depressive but it was not. Nostalgic, heartwarming, sometimes heartbreaking, and overall this game felt very human.

Sep 10, 2021Очень атмосферная игра, очень понравилась. Не хватило оптимизации конечно на Xbox series X.
-
Sep 8, 2021Not really a "game-game", but more a beautiful and very moody experience, with very good voice acting, and original ways of visualizing all kinds of emotions.

Mar 23, 2021A storytelling masterpiece that made a grown man cry. "What remains of Edith Finch" is a little pearl among modern games that usually lack a good story. Well deserved 10/10

Official Xbox Magazine UKSep 19, 2017A beautiful and haunting exploration of life, death and family tragedy.
-
Sep 1, 2017What Remains of Edith Finch is an absolutely beautiful and emotionally complex game. Despite a certain sense of morbidity in telling so many tales of death, the game is truly about the celebration of life. Despite all their differences, each family member is remembered more for who they were than how they were lost. This is a wonderful little tale that uses every second to the fullest, and truly should not be missed.

Aug 18, 2017What Remains of Edith Finch knows its niche from the beginning and rarely strays, resulting in a cohesive experience that I was never jolted out of. It elicits the strangest mixture of emotions, and its different modes of storytelling are second to none. The controls don’t translate seamlessly from PC to Xbox One, but you don’t play this game for the controls; you play for the story, and the story is gripping.
