Unlike the other DLCs this is not combat focused. You will still likely do a lot of fighting but now stealth is an option that can work. This DLC more closely follows the main game in terms of behavior including upgrades. The story itself is interesting but somewhat muted like they didn't have time to finish it.
Like the other DLCs this one doesn't allow saving so if you are collectible hunting have a list otherwise you'll potentially miss one and have to start over. However you'll be running back and forth across the same areas so some collectibles can be picked up whenever.
The whip in this DLC is probably the best weapon in the entire game. I enjoyed the combat when using the whip. Even if you don't upgrade anything it is useable and useful in most situations. I never felt overwhelmed because of it. The platforming sections were also fun because of the whip. Hopefully this aspect can be integrated into future games.
Given the previous 2 DLCs I had little hope for this DLC but it is nice to see WHF ending on a strong note. However the DLC pretty much eliminates any chance of a direct sequel so it'll be interesting to see if and how the WHF stuff moves forward.…Full Review »
