May 27, 2014amazing game. best looking open world game to date graphically. plenty of new game mechanics give a definite next gen fell. multiplayer online hacking surprisingly heaps of fun. heaps to do in terms of side missions/activites

Jan 10, 2016This was an enjoyable game and the story line wasn't so bad afterall. I feel like the user score made me feel like this game was a piece of crap and it wasn't. Yes the hacking process is a bit gimicky but what game DOESN'T have a gimicky element to it?
It's open world comparable to GTA in a futuristic Chicago. I dig it. -
Aug 8, 2014If you like the openess of the GTA series, but wish it had a story line that was worth playing all the way through you want watch dogs. It's a really good open world game.

May 27, 2014This game is great, though it doesn't reinvent the wheel. Do not pay attention to the trolls giving it zeroes. Check out the reviews of Joystiq, The Escapist, Destructoid, and even IGN to get a better impression.

May 28, 2014Fun game. The people putting 0's are just trolls. Enjoyable open world and if you're from Chicago it's a bonus. Hacking is fun and doesn't get old unless you have the attention span of a rodent. Like some said it does feel like GTA, which I don't see why that's a bad thing since it's a great game. Trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls.

May 29, 2014I'm bumping my review up to a nine although it realistically is in the 8.5 range. Obviously I've had a blast playing so far and honestly don't know what all the stigma is about. The same kids that complain all shooters are the same are the ones trying to compare this to GTA. It has more of an arcade feel and that holds true to the driving as well. I recommend playing it.

Oct 21, 2014If you were expecting Watch Dogs to take the genre in new directions then you’re going to be sorely disappointed. With that being said, Watch Dogs is still an engaging and often times surprising action game.

Jun 25, 2014With this introduction to the world of hacking Ubisoft have created a behemoth of an IP, one that promises much. Like its predecessor though, we’ll have to wait for the tighter and more focussed second iteration, removing what didn’t work and improving that which did, to realise that full potential.

Jun 3, 2014Consistently entertaining but lacking in originality, Watch Dogs boasts a hugely promising concept but finds itself coasting along on the triumphs of others. You won’t be disappointed, but you won’t be surprised either.
