    Very interesting concept, loving the open world Ubisoft has created. The game is not perfect, but A+ for the work that went in to creating an amazingly fun world to explore.

    If you liked previous Watch Dogs games, you will love this one. It really improves on a lot of mechanics, the hacking is fun, being able to ride on top of a drone is great. I am enjoying the game and it looks great on the Xbox One X. Wish it was 60 FPS, but runs well at 30 FPS. The play as anyone mechanic is not a gimmick, it really adds to the complexity of the game and I see myselfIf you liked previous Watch Dogs games, you will love this one.     Exactly that type of Sandbox I was hoping for, yes it may get repetitive after a while of recruiting your team but the thing is. You can play as anyone! Absolutely anyone. Albion Enforcer? No problem. Police Officer? No problem. I'm really looking forward to what will UBI bring with the Season Pass. Big open World.

    Clearly the best Watch Dogs yet. Despite certain flaws which are expected with a newly released title, this game sucks you in right away. The visuals are stunning and the play as anyone mechanic is addicting. A must buy on PC

    Now, this may be a controversial one, and everyone knows Ubisoft is, well - not the best at the moment. And I know of the constant crashes that exploded over gaming social media (the majority of these were patched as of Wednesday). However, as a huge Watchdogs fan, I pre-ordered it and got it day one, and I want to say, it was such a nice breath of fresh air from modern day games likeNow, this may be a controversial one, and everyone knows Ubisoft is, well - not the best at the moment. However, as a huge Watchdogs fan, I pre-ordered it and got it day one, and I want to say, it was such a nice breath of fresh air from modern day games like Modern Warfare and other - questionable - games.

    The combat is heavily improved from One and Two. You can now punch, guard break and dodge instead of the plain Takedowns that were the only melee combat in WD 1 + 2. Gunplay feels above average for your typical Open-world third person shooter, and the range of ways to shoot was vast - something I’ll explain more later.

    Now the main selling point of this game is the play-as-anyone mechanic. I didn’t know how well this would be executed at first - I thought it could either be a cheap way to make the game unique or something that would completely revolutionise the franchise, and I can safely say it felt amazing. Walking around the world for ages just to find one person that would help your team significantly felt satisfying and not at all a waste of time. Unfortunately Ubisoft haven’t given us a real reason to recruit a “normal” person unless you really have to - but the amount of skilled operatives you can come across in one session made up for that.
    I haven’t yet come across the same person twice, which is very impressive when you consider there are 9 MILLION people to recruit, and their recruitment missions weren’t *too* repetitive - and neither were their abilities.

    Hacking didn’t feel much different, but like they say: you can’t fix something that’s not broken, but I would have liked to have seen different mechanics for the driving aspect. It feels good but not anything    … Expand

    FULLY RECOMEND TO ANYONE!

    TLDR: smooth/rewarding gameplay, optimized well on ps4 pro, solid entertaining story, not repetitive besides the pipe puzzles (I have played for 30+ hours) and you get the full game experience in the standard $60 edition (all that is added in the gold/ultimate edition is dlc side stories and cosmetics) I have seen a lot of negative reveiws on this game and I    FULLY RECOMEND TO ANYONE!

    I have seen a lot of negative reveiws on this game and I understand that not everyone will share the same opinion with me but are we playing the same game!?

    Obviously its not perfect but I think it is really good, not just for an ubisoft game but a game in general.

    The gameplay is really smooth depending on what operative your are using, if you have a professional hitman, you can go up to people and execute them jhon wick style, and if you have a beekeeper you can send a swarm their way and it just feels so cool.(there are many more operatives with great abilities) while if you didnt like the gameplay of WD or wd2, you may not have as much fun as me ut I still think it could offer enough to let you have fun.(NOTICE!If you are someone who likes going up against very smart AI, the ai in this game, though quite unforgiving if caught, can be very dumb)

    i'm not sure about PC or Xbox but the game seems very well optimized on my ps4 pro, the graphics are great, the loading times arent obnoxious like some other games that came out this year and the input is perfectly fine. Another complaint I have heard is that the story is boring and while Its no the last of us or the witcher 3, it is really solid and entertaining. (without any spoilers) the plot is basically something happens to london and dedsec that requires you to recruit the people of london and un cover the person disturbing the have to find the perpetrators and restore peace in london.

    People have also been saying that it is a very repetitive game and I just have to disagree , there are so many things to do around london and so many Ways to infiltrate each hideout whether you go in guns a blazing, stealthily, with a drone, disguised, etc. It always has new things to offer. Also, cto clear each borough of London, they have similar missions that have been re touched to feel unique each time and the final mission of each borough is unique and rewards you with an elite operator (spy, drone expert, anarchist, etc.) That has special abilities that is hard to find just on the streets. (The only thing that feels repetitiveto me is the pipe puzzles but they dont seem to be as frequent as they were in WD1 or 2)

    I HAVE BOUGHT THE GAME ON THE STANDARD EDITION ($60) and it doesnt feel like I'm missing out on anything so dont feel inclined to but the gold or ultimate edition unless you want to expand on your experience of the game.    … Expand

    Deserves a 10/10, it definitely wasn't perfect, with the voice acting and narrative. But the amount of stuff they got right was incredible, they made you feel like every character is different and unique. Gameplay opportunities here are crazy. This is not just about a good story with one character whom you can shoot and drive with, there is a lot of content here. Watch dogs was alwaysDeserves a 10/10, it definitely wasn't perfect, with the voice acting and narrative. Watch dogs was always different from standard open world 3rd person shooter game but this sets it far apart from any other game. The amount of freedom and time you can invest in this game is worth the 60$. This is where the open world genre will innovate itself from not being limited to one character but instead a legion of characters for you to toy with. Hats off to ubisoft for making such an interesting step forward which will now probably be credited to the next open world game which uses this idea and makes it work. But for me this is a big step forward and i hope they will keep at it with this game and its online modes. Looking forward for the future of Watch Dogs!… Expand

    Fun game to mess around with, hack, fly drones, complete side missions, find easter eggs, there's not much else to do anyway before true hit of 2020 - Assassin's Creed Valhalla comes.

    Legion is overall pretty enjoyable game. Nothing super special.

    Here's the deal, it's not revolutionary or anything, but it's not that bad either. It's just mediocre i guess. And not every game needs to be best game ever. At least it doesn't have insane bugs like fallout 76 and actually has beautiful graphics.

    Compared to many other 2020 game that will be over in 2 hours, WD Legion actually has content. If you like that content, that's up to you obviously, but at least here's tons of stuff to do. Character recruitment is true standout, but i have to say WD1 had better story. I'm still hopeful for dlc's tho, because they bring back Aiden. Could use performance patches.

    Good enough game to have some fun with, until true 2020 hits (Assassin's Creed Valhalla / Black Ops / MIles Morales) comes out. Haven't had any major bugs or crashes personally. Perfromance pathces are needed tho.

    Ubisoft seems to be back on tack again, it's no masterpiece, but it's 100% step in right direction compared to their 2019 games, 2019 was just awful for Ubi. Legion is just fine, but Assassin's Creed Valhalla seems to be actually epic. Super hyped for that.

    Whole point of creating open world where you can recruit anyone is that you put there tons of different characters, not same copy-paste npc's. It's not GTA 5 anymore, that game was 7 years ago. And don't get me wrong, i absolutely deeply love GTA 5, it's one of my all time favorite games.     So far everything is nice, graphics are from decent to good, npc recruitment is fun (because tons of characters to choose from). Undressing female characters is always fun. Story is meh, but open world London makes up for it. Would recommend.

    Pros : London looks beautiful, flying on drones is fun (different from usual planes in open world games), NPC recruitment, hacking mechanics are fun, You can explore all kinds of underground places with your spiderbot.
    Cons: Story is hit or miss, You can't enter many buildings, could use some serious performance patches.

    There's two things that makes this open world stand out from others, ability to recruit and play as ANY npc in the game and RTX reflection in true open world game. There's some other unique stuff too like flying on drones, instead of usual planes or helicopters. Performance could be better, otherwise it's nice.

Ubisoft is clearly back on track and i'm more than happy for it. Ubisoft is amazing company that makes tons of different games every year, more than any other company could even imagine doing.     Perfect game to end this awful year with. Finally something positive. Not some depression simulator like last of us 2. I'm not saying it's best game of 2020, no it's not, but it's solid enough and maybe dlc's make it even better.
    Extremely hyped for Assassin's Creed Valhalla tho.

    It's actually way better than what i expected. Specially after absolute letdown that WD2 was.
    Positives would be: combat, npc recruitment system, graphics, drone hacking, hacking in general, spiderbot, underground locations, design of London.
    Negatives: story is "eh", performance could be better.
    Overall would recommend if you liked watch dogs 1 and are general watch dogs fan.

    So glad to see Ubisoft finally back on track. This game feels like actual game unlike ghost recon breakpoint. Assassin's Creed Valhalla seems already amazing.

Been playing for two days now and it's pure joy to finally play something i actually care about. I barely finished second game, it was just so boring.     Beautiful open world that actually feels alive. RDR2 did unexpectedly well with npc's and so does this game, but it's little bit different this time. Now you can play as any npc you see in the world.That's epic.

    Just made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems. I have heard about save issues, personally haven't had any save issues. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I think Ubisoft tweeted that they patch it on November 9th. I also made this account to fight back against bots who are trying to lower user score. Whoever gives zeros without even owning the game, justJust made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems. Haters logic seems to be: when any new game has bunch of zeros then it's legit score, if it has positive reviews then it must be fake.     It's fine enough watch_dogs game. I would only recommend it, if you actually really liked first game, because in dlc first game's main character come back as playable character. Until that happens, there's enough fun to be had with npc recruitment.

    It's not most interesting or revolutionary game ever, but everything that isn't absolute perfection can't be treated like absolute trash either. That's absurdity. It's not must buy, absolutely not, but it's still very fun game. Yeah it can be like that, believe it or not. I didn't like watch dogs 2 in 2016, so i basically gave up on this series. basically because everything was just too colorful and i preferred darker tone of watch dogs 1. In gta 5 it has never annoyed me, but in watch dogs 2 it was just way too much.     This is basically new meta, when bots that gives 0's or 1's claim that others are bots. Pure comedy. It's not 10/10 game, more like 7 or 7.5, but i have to give it 10 to fight back against fake reviews that give 0's. Glad to see Ubisoft back on track.

    Seems like this game has been under similar attack as last of us 2 with tons of bots giving 0s.
    This game is much better than last of us 2, that's for sure. It doesn't have amazing story, far from it, but it's not even close to as awful as last of us 2 story, that one was just horrible.
    So far enjoying the game, huge step up from last game.

    My most anticipated video games of 2020 were Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion. I pre-ordered all of them, so watch dogs legion is first one down. Gotta say, it's not perfect, but i wasn't expecting anything perfect. Overall i think it was just okay. It wasn't awful either. Giving it 10 because bots have review bombed it badly.

    I thought this series was dead, apparently i was wrong, it's more alive than ever. Unlike last game's npc's that were blank faces, Legion's city feels alive. RTX reflections look way too realistic, mind blowing how far graphics have come.

    No idea about base console performance, because i have xbox series x, ps4 pro and high end pc, but on these three it runs well enough and looks stunning (at times).

    I'm pretty sure multiplayer and season pass will add much needed depth to generally fine game already. Been playing over 20 hours and there's always something to do. Recruit new npc's, mess around with spiderbot or fly around on drones etc, explore the city.

Not everything hits the nail, but it would be miracle if everything did. 2019 was generally huge mistake for them and i'm pretty confident it wont happen again. They simply can't afford it. Assassin's Creed has way larger fanbase (literally millions) than watch dogs, so hopefully Assassin's Creed fans are ready to protect Valhalla when it releases, because this kind of mass downvoting can't happen again. Now about the game, been playing around 20 hours i think.     Not masterpiece, but compared to tons of other open world games that are actually boring and empty (just cause 3 and 4, mafia remake) there's tons of fun to be had in watch dogs legion.

There are bad game, there are decent games, there are decent games with potential to get better and then there are good games. This one is decent with potential to get better.

    reading some of these comments makes me think like "are these people actually lying?" during my 10 hour game session i haven't had single hardcore bug in this game, zero crashes, I'm not even sure if i have had any minor bugs to be honest. Everything just works lol.

    Wow. It's super fun to just mess around and find someone that has your likeness. There's no character customization like in other games but this one's better. i found someone with my last name and then customized his clothes and such. It's been great! Allows me to feel more connected to the story seeing myself in cutscenes.

    Absolutely no crashes or blue screens after 15 hours of gameplay. Game is solid. But AC Valhalla is (by 2020 standards) absolute masterpiece, so i would rather recommend that one.

    It's nothing special, but i enjoyed it way more than 2019 Ubisoft games. This idea that some people think it's okay to sht on every new game without even buying it is just bs. Watching some clips from youtube doesn't count. If you haven't played this game at least 5 hours, your review is absolutely meaningless.

    For the love of god, 300 negative reviews and most of them are either 0's or 1's with short comment like "i'm a loser and hate new games without even trying them". I wish metacritic would FORCE people to show if they own a game and how long they have played it, before they can write actual review. JUST LIKE STEAM DOES. WD Legion is nothing special, but it's nowhere as bad as this userscore.

    Pretty cool game if you are creative type, if you want everything to be thrown at you, you might find this one boring. Can't wait for dlc's and multiplayer.

    My gripes really stem from the place of being a fan. Anyone entering Watch Dogs: Legion looking for a by the books open world game is going to find a lot to enjoy. There are small puzzles to solve, plenty of collectibles, lots of missions and I would say the shooting and driving are the best this series has ever been. Fans of the series like myself however will be disappointed by the lack of enjoyable characters as well as stand out missions and story beats. With how close Legion is releasing to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising it feels like Watch Dogs: Legion was left to fight for your attention and your money with less money put into development. I would recommend both Watch Dogs 1 & 2 as well as plenty of other Ubisoft experiences from the last few years before Legion at full price.

    It’s a convincing facsimile, which makes trying to save it from Albion and its assorted cronies a more compelling task. And Legion’s big gimmick is that you can play as, well, anyone. Construction workers, lawyers, YouTube stars, retired cage fighters, Anarchists, football hooligans. All are served up by Ubisoft’s smart procedurally-generated trick, each with their own look, background and sometimes even voting record.
