    Wasteland 3: Cult of the Holy Detonation is a lot of fun to play through, if brutally hard at lower levels. The story is intriguing, and with the multitude of different characters to meet and interact with, and different factions to play off against each other, the DLC does more than enough to keep you playing.

    Cult of the Holy Detonation is overall a satisfying end to one of last year's top RPGs, and is every bit as good as the previous DLC, BattleCult of the Holy Detonation is overall a satisfying end to one of last year's top RPGs, and is every bit as good as the previous DLC, Battle of Steeltown. Thanks to the newly implemented objective-based combat system, this is a fun and fresh piece for fans, but just like Steeltown, technical issues still persist across all pieces of content.… Expand

    Ce second DLC pour Wasteland 3 (après Steeltown…) vous emmène visiter une petite centrale nucléaire occupée par une bande de mutants plus ouCe second DLC pour Wasteland 3 (après Steeltown…) vous emmène visiter une petite centrale nucléaire occupée par une bande de mutants plus ou moins dégénérés (et illuminés…). L’ambiance là-dedans est pleine de jolies lumières et d’irradiés radieux et la touche artistique très appliquée d’Inxile a permis de rendre le jeu fort joli (ou plus joli que d’habitude) malgré le moteur fatiguenaze Unity utilisé.

    Il reste les temps de chargement encore un brin énervants (sur console) entre les quelques (petites) zones mais bon… on s’est fait une raison. Les choix m’ont l’air plus restreints que dans le précédent DLC mais le scénario réserve une surprise à la fin…. assez drôle, si je puis dire. Les objectifs (et combats) se révèlent en tout cas des plus intéressants avec parfois une option furtive tout à fait possible (avec un seul personnage évidemment).

    Même si la mécanique (va presser un interrupteur pour -enfin- arrêter les renforts incessants….) est un peu trop utilisée ici, ma foi… mais cela oblige certainement à un minimum de stratégie. Plutôt agréable donc mais pas transcendant, ce DLC n’est pas forcément plus court que le précédent… mais est vendu moins cher : on y gagne au change !    … Expand
