    Warriors Orochi's gameplay can be a little repetitive, but the chance of switching between characters and the great variety of different attacks make it a must play in the Xbox One catalogue.

    Warriors Orochi 4 is the best episode in Omega Force's series, a love (and excuses) letter for all Musou fans who were disappointed by DW9. Filled with plenty of contents and great new features, it's a real pity it delivers a very low challenge level, making it way too easy even at the higher difficulty.

    Warriors Orochi 4 has a lot going for it, but its sheer lack of difficulty is hard to overlook when taking its widely interesting gameplay mechanics into account. Still, with its needless simplicity to the side, the game delivers on its promise to be the most fun and diverse entry in the series so far. Furthermore, in contrast to Dynasty Warriors 9’s launch, Warriors Orochi 4’s technical performance is top-notch.

    Warriors Orochi 4 presents the usual Mosuo formula with some minor but welcome additions. if you like such games than you will have lots of hours of hacking and slashing with a huge number of characters, each of them providing its unique style and move set.

    Despite being formulaic and repetitive, you know what you’re getting with a Warriors game. And if that’s your thing, you’ll no doubt have some fun with Warriors Orochi 4.

    In the end though after, say, 15 or stages or varying length, the action does begin to feel a little repetitive with design that feels decidedly old-school thanks to the complete absence of environmental interaction and movement that is as floaty as watching synchronised figure skating with hundreds of skaters instead of two. But yeah, Warriors Orochi 4 is still a lot of fun to play. A blast even.

    This game aims to please anyone willing to give it a shot. Whether you’ve been away for a decade or kept up with every release, you’ll find something to like here. The character variety and self-serious nonsense mesh into a breezy good time that’s easy to recommend.

    Nearly every title from this company feels the same for the most part and that is a genuine problem with how many games they put out. Only the hardest of hardcore Warriors fans should even look at this title. Otherwise, there’s better games of this type from the exact same people.

    I was very impressed by how much variety the game’s content had and being able to choose from multiple character’s not only makes the game funI was very impressed by how much variety the game’s content had and being able to choose from multiple character’s not only makes the game fun but it also keeps things fresh as well. The combat is fun and exciting at all times and the newly included magic abilities gives the combat even more depth.
    Being able to play the entire campaign in co-op is a nice addition and this inclusion does give the game even more in terms of replayability. Technically the game holds up really well throughout your time with the game and I’m pleased to say that there aren’t any issues that hold the game back. You can tell that each different mechanic that’s present in the game has had a lot of thought and effort placed into them which in turn makes the gameplay very addictive. The presentation side of the game isn’t bad I just felt that both the visuals and sound design were lacking in some areas. I felt that the game needed to be more challenging because at times it can be a little too easy. Overall I really enjoy the Warriors Orochi series because I’ve found each game in the series to be very fun and addictive, and thankfully I’m pleased to say that Warriors Orochi 4 is no different. In fact this time around for me the series has become even more fun and addictive because there’s more depth when it comes to the crux of the game, which is of course its combat. I do however have a small gripe when it comes to its combat though and that is that it isn’t challenging enough, but thankfully I was easily able to look past this. In terms of content the game has a lot for you to be getting on with and the content that is available to you has tons of variety within it. I was also pleased to learn that the content has no technichal problems either and this does make each intricate mechanic shine brightly throughout your time with the game. At the end of the day then if your a fan of the Warriors Orochi franchise then you will thoroughly enjoy what this game has to offer and with the added inclusion of being able to play the whole campaign in co-op you’re very unlikely to get bored of this game anytime soon.    … Full Review »

The animations and movement are so silky smooth that actually makes quite a big difference. The game itself is filled with hundreds of moves 100 of combinations endless ways to get the DPS up.
