While I am glad that Warface is back after being discontinued on the Xbox 360, it still feels like it hasn't changed much. The graphics and frame rate are pretty decent and the variety of guns is good compared to some games, and the fact that updates are fairly frequent and keeps a flow of new content arriving in the game. The gameplay isn't to bad when you have a few friends, but that's where the good ends. The game severely lacks weapon balance and map design as well as a near impossibility of being able to get new weapons, and even when you do it's usually only a rental. The sliding mechanic is abused severely since almost every enemy you encounter slides at you and one-taps you. The maps only have one fixed spawn point making it easy to spawn camp but is hard to do with the brief spawn invincibility. The weapons are also extremely unbalanced since the poor spas that shell out money to get better stuff are awarded with a near god like advantage since the burst fire rifles have a one hit kill potential and sniper rifles like the Barrett and CheyTac have a one hit kill no matter where it hits or it knocks you down to be finished off. Once you get queued into the professional player lobbies, you'll run into people using ridiculously overpowered and unfair weapons almost 80% of the time and gets annoying to deal with after playing for a while. Then there's the PvP. The PvP, to say the least, is flawed. The maps need redesigning since many players will camp in corners or on top of things. The sliding mechanic is abused. There's also the frequent rubber band lag that will set you back or get instantly killed due to it. The poorly hit detection sets you back even more as every shot you take is a game of luck as shots that should kill your enemy quick only do minimal damage. Though it is slightly entertaining, it gets boring, frustrating and repetitive after a while. The PvE is decent in its own right but can be improved upon with a better enemy spawn system and a more forgiving loss scenario so you can restart at a checkpoint rather than restarting the whole thing. The microtransactions are to be expected since, like Fortnite, it needs to rely on them for a money source. Overall, the game has some good things about it and could have been so much more if they put more time into improving it and making it more balanced, stable, and easier for people to get new things. Its the poor man's C.O.D.… Expand
