    Gaijin's greed is out of control. Yeah I get it, a company's purpose is to make money, and that will always be a priority. But these developers still need to balance the economy correctly so that free-to-play players don't have pay real money. That's the whole point of making a game free-to-play. Otherwise, it isn't a free-to-play game at all, it's a scam. I am not paying any real moneyGaijin's greed is out of control.     Great game but bad company. devs are great, game is great, but Gaijin screwed it all up in favor of stealing everyone's money. the game has gone from F2P to P2P. the economy is unbearable, and the grind is awful.

    Wort pay2win game ever, developpers do everything to dry out the player wallet. Paid skins are ok, it's a free to play game, but paid tanks to skip the world war II era ? Paid tanks to grind the previous ones becauses they are bad ? Gaijin create the balance problem, then sell the solution. The economy is so bad, that if you play withouth premium account, after rank 3 you won't get enoughWort pay2win game ever, developpers do everything to dry out the player wallet. Enjoy getting 1k or less money per game, and buying a tank that cost over 150k, and it's only rank 3... Oh and better, it's 150k for a tank, but you need to "train the crew" to use it, add another 30k or more...Add to this a stealth nerf (reveserd, but still they tried to do it...) to base money multiplicator to have player win even less money... You got the gist, avoid this game for now, wait until it's all green again.… Expand

Then whenever we complain about a vehicle not being balanced they say "according to our statistics the vehicle is balanced" - source trust me bro vs us being able to call them out with the statistics pre 2018.    … Expand

    They don't respect your time and are trying to push updates to make it even worse then gas lighting the player base saying if it gets review bombed the game will get shut down and no one wins. This dev team is tone deaf and trying to milk more money.

    Gaijin worse than EA when it comes to monetization. Honestly they won't allow you to play with the cool toys if you dont fork up either 70 bucks for a premium or 40 for premium time and half a year of your lifes worth.

    The Grind will kill you....

    Rewards are horrible (even with premium), getting to the very top vehicles can take over a year of you time and the game just isn't fun.

    The game is impressive in terms of content and realism and fun, with a lot of historical vehicles to drive from air to the grounds and seas. It’s a good free to play, if you’re willing to spend a lot of time grinding the broad content.

    The menu, currency confusion, being outclassed by pay-to-win players and lack of help is very off-putting in the beginning, but it does start to make sense if you can devote the time to learn it and stick with it. It’s not going to be for everyone, and I’d still wager it’s more catered towards the hardcore crowd, or those with disposable income, but War Thunder can be a deep and exciting game in the heat of battle. Once it’s free to play and out of Early Access, there’s no harm in giving it a shot, like your tank cannon.
