You can skip the micro transactions in the Xbox version and with minimal grinding, which is commonly expected in mobile games (sometimes even Carries over on console ports. You pay for the game and that's it; all of the content is yours to unlock the way real gamers prefer their gaming experience away from handheld "gaming" devices. Vampire's Fall: Origins has the world aesthetics of the likes of the early Diablo games with a unique turn based combat system. Game mechanics are straight forward and somewhat linear and that is what most of the side quests feel like as well. The turn based combat is standard RPG style play where you choose your action and the random number generator decides your fate. It is somewhat repetitive but satisfying once you have a character build and equipment load out that really works for your play style. The game really shines within the brutal system. Brutals are unique and very powerful mini boss style enemies that are much stronger than the standard enemies in terms of difficulty. Rewards for killing them are appropriately much higher than what you get from common enemies. Once you defeat all of the brutals and gods they will re-spawn as even more challenging versions. This goes on until you defeat the fourth tier of their reincarnated re-spawn. Once that is done there are the brutal mazes on the second continent and those are a definite spike in overall difficulty. It's really satisfying once you are finally the most powerful being in the land but it does take time to get there and some grinding of course. If you are an achievement gamer then take note it will likely take you roughly sixty hours for the completion. If you like the aesthetic I've described and turn based role playing games with dark settings then there is plenty of game to more than justify the price of admission on your Xbox One. The game actually exceeded my initial expectations and I have no problem recommending this game for your Xbox One library.… Expand
