    Addictive rogue-lite pared down to the its most basic elements. The gameplay is simple and ingenious, something like a bullet hell Gauntlet. The part that is kind of different is that you don't actually control your characters attacks or special abilities; they are used automatically based on timers, so you can focus on maneuvering and positioning your characters.     It's a fun way to kill some time, and I can see why people like it. After a couple hours the gameplay reward loop mechanic became apparent, and I began to find it repetitive. There is far less variety in Vampire Survivors than other games such Dead Cells. There isn't enough content, complexity, or variety to hold my interest.    … Expand
