The game is challenging, almost blisteringly so, but that seems to be the thing that drags you back in; you just know that if you could be a bit more careful, you’d have got past that tricky bit and all could be well.

A solid dungeon crawler should deliver an addictive experience and make you want to keep playing, despite having lost all of the loot you’ve gathered due to dying to the painful difficulty level. Thankfully Unexplored: Unlocked Edition delivers and while there may be better dungeon crawlers, this is a quality addition to the genre. One of the main reasons is its unique feel during your play time with the game. This uniqueness then can be found in both the visuals and sound and when you combine that with the randomly generated world the replay ability the game has is great to say the least. I will say that you will become frustrated at times as the difficulty can be a little unforgiving at times. Cool-down's can be one of those frustrations. That being said I was still able to look past the issues due to the replay-ability and unique design present. Unexplored: Unlocked Edition gets a recommendation from me, despite not being perfect (is any game ever really?_) it is definitely worth a purchase and a welcome addition to my gaming library. Expand
