Sep 5, 2020Having a blast with this one on Xbox game pass. Grindy for sure but I keep coming back for more. It gets more challenging as you get to the third set of dungeons and the enemies are crazy! Really glad I found this game, having a ton of fun ten hours in.

Oct 6, 2020Despite so many good roguelikes already out or due soon, Undermine is still one that’s worth spending time with — this is a stellar debut from its developers.

Aug 5, 2020Its fast-paced campaign, which can be completed in anywhere from 10 hours to 20 depending on playstyle and talent, works to counterbalance its more monotonous elements. The game is also just beautiful to look at, with highly detailed and varied character models and map layouts. Its satirical, light-hearted story is a breath of fresh air in a genre that mostly puts out overly serious and grimdark titles. The small twists on the overcrowded roguelike genre are almost enough to set the game apart and, even though it's not a perfect game, UnderMine is anything but forgettable, making it worth a look for fans of the genre or those looking for a welcoming introduction to it.

Aug 5, 2020It’s safe to say that UnderMine on Xbox One will keep you coming back time and time again as it definitely has a ‘one more go’ vibe. No matter how full your sack is or what upgrades are available, you always feel like you’re making some kind of progress and the rewards are plentiful.
