The game is an absolute garbage. A lot of backtracking during the second part, the unbeatable last boss, and mediocre style and graphics. Don't waste your time.

Just a boring game if I'm being honest. The 3 points it got were from it's inspiration from Zelda. Thought that was nice. If you like games that are way too difficult and not the fun kind of difficult, you'll love this game. Go buy Elden Ring instead.

    One point for the artstyle.
On the otherside, everything is terrible: dodging, locking, sprinting. All of them are broken, especially in boss fights, which are one of the most unfair battles I've ever seen.
Decrypting the guide book is rather annoying than enjoyable.
I had high hopes, but to be honest...this is the worst game I have ever played.

Although there are good qualities, the game was overhyped due to exclusive content drought. The description of it is false and unless you are aware of where to go at the start, you will never progress. It tried is best to be unique but failed at every attempt with graphical issues in your as well. Overall I am very disappointed in the result

one of the worst games in 2022, it's literally a mediocre mobile game overhyped because it's like zelda and is indie

Tunic looks good. It's pretty, the music is nice, it has some cool visual effects. It's definitely cute and charming.

But it's such a pain to play. Controls feel super sluggish, walk speed is incredibly slow. Inputs feel laggy, attacking and rolling, even walking feels unresponsive. I'm controlling a fox for chrissakes, he should be running circles around everyone. Enemies hit like

But it's such a pain to play.

Controls feel super sluggish, walk speed is incredibly slow. Inputs feel laggy, attacking and rolling, even walking feels unresponsive. I'm controlling a fox for chrissakes, he should be running circles around everyone. Enemies hit like tanks, the windows for dodging and attacking are super tight. Some enemies track mid-swing so you can't really dodge around them to counter, just away from them. Coupled with the anemic striking range, battles often stretch out.

I don't know where I'm supposed to go, and it takes forever to get there because of the walking speed. Getting items doesn't feel all that satisfying. The items aren't that original, I never felt like I had just discovered something exciting. Compare this to Ori, where lobbing fireballs can help me jump higher; that's interesting skill design.

It's just incredibly frustrating, and there's not much payoff. I've given up on games before, but rarely as quickly as I have with Tunic. 100% honest here, I full on ragequit after a very short amount of time. I like the concept, but I hate the execution.

Zelda wannabe? Beautiful graphic and scene design, but I'm really disappointed with the design and gameplay mechanic... In nut shell, nothing is new...

Tunic had a lot to live up to after years of built up expectation, and it doesn’t just meet them, it shatters them and stands out as one of the most joyous gaming experiences I’ve had in years. It takes a little while to feel at home in Tunic’s gorgeously rendered world, but once it clicks and the secrets of the masterfully constructed in-game manual start to reveal themselves, the resulting game is up there with the likes of Zelda in terms of exploration and discoveries.

Tunic is one of the biggest surprises this year will offer, with a beautiful world to explore, a perfect soundtrack and a gameplay that, with its flaws, will give tons of hours of enjoying.

There is much more to Tunic than what meets the eye. Just be ready for a challenge.
