    I loved the game, really. I loved the reboot, even if I think that the exploration part of the older episodes is a keeper. But seriously... This version is the biggest rip-off ever.

    Basically, you're being charged double price because Lara's model has been remade, and in my opinion, she looks less like a survivor this way. BUT THAT'S IT. This is the only difference this version offers.    I loved the game, really. I loved the reboot, even if I think that the exploration part of the older episodes is a keeper. But seriously... It plays the same, it looks completely the same (at least between PC and XB1/PS4 versions, concerning X360/PS3, it is only a matter of sharpness). THIS IS the game of the year version on X360/PS3/PC, at double price.

    But how on earth do they dare say it is a whole new experience ? Is it because there is a speaker in the PS4 controller ? Because on some climbing scenes, you can control the camera or examine relics with Kinect ? I won't even bother mentioning the useless voice commands...

    Now, if you really want to compare the XB1 and PS4 versions. Well... The XB1 version is a joke. I'm sure it could have been technically improved. Because the game is broken, multiplayer is unplayable, and noticeable framerate drops happen. This is not because the console is of lower performances, but the reason is it has been optimized like mixing beef jerky in a Nutella sandwich. PS4 version is okay, but still under what a high-end PC can provide.

    The thing is... For those who played the PC version, just don't bother. Seriously. And for the people who did it on X360/PS3, you can definitely wait for its price to drop. Don't allow the editors to get away with this. I came to finish it for achievements, and returned it right away. This version at full price is for you gamers who never EVER played it before.    … Expand

    I loved Tomb Raider series! They were best. BUT this one is HORRIBLE! Tomb Raider is RUINED because of that game! And even if you exclude Tomb Raider basic idea and everything and you will look it just simople ordinary game - this game will be still really really really bad! Do not waste your money!

    Ryse of Rome + God of War + Resident Evil 5 = This. Where's the "Tomb Raider"? 30fps QTE fest with garbage shooting. If you want the best console version get the PS4 (which runs at 60fps - yep the XB1 is lagging *that* far behind already), but I'd just pass.

    I hated so much this game, i was hyped by the reboot but it has nothing to do with a tomb raider game. No tropical/luxurious/antique sites, no puzzles, no adventure...just a generic/boring TPS, just "ouch, ouch i take a stick in my womb and fall every 10 seconds but can still walk, run etc." and "bam bam tatata bang" worse than a COD. I don't get all the hype for this game.

    If you like your games being interrupted by cut-scenes every ten minutes and endless quick time events, then this game is for you.

    You may also like this game if you enjoy the Eagle Vision of the Assassins Creed games but wish it was next to useless.

    The game may have been more interesting if it had stayed a little closer to it's roots, of you know, raiding tombs.

    this game sucks balls. the writing and dialogue are sub par as well as the voice acting. I spent the first 30 minutes doing nothing but running away from dreadlocks guy who ends up bopping himself on a rock. this **** was lame. dont play it.

    Cette "Definitive Edition" est à mourir de rire : quelques nouvelles tenues peu inspirées et très politiquement correctes (quand on pense à certaines des précédents, on ne peut qu'être déçu... pourtant Square **** éditeur japoniais pour otaculs ? confondé-je avec un autre ?) ; des personnages et cartes pour le multi-joueurs (pffiou...) ; une nouvelle tombe à explorer (admettons) et desCette "Definitive Edition" est à mourir de rire : quelques nouvelles tenues peu inspirées et très politiquement correctes (quand on pense à certaines des précédents, on ne peut qu'être déçu... pourtant Square **** éditeur japoniais pour otaculs ? confondé-je avec un autre ?) ; des personnages et cartes pour le multi-joueurs (pffiou...) ; une nouvelle tombe à explorer (admettons) et des pétoires inédites (dont celles d'Hitman). Mais surtout, le meilleur pour la fin, un "réticule de tir à la tête" (sic !) qui "permet à Lara d'utiliser ses armes avec précision" (re-sic !).

    On appelle ça du "contenu" chez Squaredaube, ouais ouais ouais. Mais attention, le jeu est quand même plus joli que sur 360 malgré quelques ralentissements tout de même : un portage des plus suspects puisque les cinématiques tombent en 900p et que globalement, le jeu ne parvient pas à maintenir un 30 im/s stable. Ce qui tient d'une réelle incompétence pour un tel jeu-couloir scripté.

    Un couloir plus ou moins large il est vrai, rempli de petites conneries à ramasser (il faut bien remplir) et bardé de scripts et de QTE aussi aberrants qu'improbables. L'espèce d'histoire n'en est pas une mais ce n'est pas bien grave dans un jeu de ce genre, car on se contrefout des jérémiades de la petite connasse, toujours à geindre et à se plaindre. Il faut dire que l'humour est totalement absent, contrairement à la série des Unchartiep, ce qui n'aide pas non plus.

    Pour le reste, les combats sont presque acceptables mais impliquent encore des QTE (coups de grâce) et les possibilités d'infiltration se révèlent très limitées au final. Le pire dans tout cela si on fait abstraction de la bêtise de l'ensemble (niaiserie et clichés inclus) réside dans l'immense ennui qui nous accapare d'un bout à l'autre de ce jeu pop-corn linéaire et ridicule... pour autant qu'on tienne jusqu'au bout.    … Expand

    The worst possible version of an already great game and at 900p 30 fps its lightyears behind the ps4 slick and glorious 1080p 60fps with the dualshock 4 combo

    If you never had the chance to experience the game a year ago, then the Definitive Edition is an absolute no-brainer. In fact, we’re even slightly envious of those people that waited, because Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is one of the Xbox One's best games.

    An undoubtedly successful next-gen makeup operation, delivering rich and vibrant graphics on an already great game. Nevertheless, this is a game suited only for those who never played the original one: the revamped graphics aren't enough to justify the admittance price if you already played it.
