The original Division was a games you either embraced or possibly looked by until you found a great sale. Initially it still had a few too many issues which many were resolved during the lifespan of the game or I grew to love over time. Despite the previous game I was still an optimist of The Division 2, and I was confident they corrected some of the problems the first game had early on. After completing the main content it became quite clear that they did just that and whilst it isn’t perfect I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my journey my only complaint is the glitch that exists for the rare weapons that can be obtained thru the glitch which I would expect should be corrected shortly. One of the biggest improvements I found this time around then was definitely the AI and controls because without a doubt these both feel more intelligent and realistic, and quite frankly I felt I was battling my best even early in the game while I got the feel for the new game. The gunplay does feel more realistic and smooth this time around, as well and whenever I took down an enemy opponents it felt rewarding and and very exciting. In terms of mission content the game has a lot for you to explore the activities you can do within this content to keep things fresh and interesting. The loot you get keeps things fun and interesting as well and this aspect will keep your interest peaked for a long while to come. Even though the presentation doesn’t feel improved over the predecessor along with the absence of an offline component again, I feel that the improvements have been made The Division 2 a better game overall and definitely a worth addition to your library, especially If your a fan of shooters. Well done UBISoft, hope to see your software continue to improve and bring us the long time classics we have enjoyed for years. Two Thumbs up! Expand

They can't stand for people to just pay for their game once and then play it by themselves. For Ubisoft, that just pisses them off. This should be free-to-play because that's exactly how it's designed but Ubisoft is way too greedy to do that. Until the fanboy morons quit paying full price for these types of games and then go on to spend more money on microtransactions, then developers like Ubisoft will continue to ruin the games industry. Disappointed. I like Tom Clancy's games for their immersion and realism. This one killed realism. It takes me out of the game every time I have to empty a full magazine to take down some dude with a hoodie and a golf club.
I understand this game is some kind of RPG-shooter, but I think those two elements don't mix very well.

If you like generic walk, cover, and shoot games then this is for you.

If you like games to have substance, intrigue, and some variability in gameplay, this isn't for you.

I don't think i've ever played a worse ubisoft game... Its just a grind in a big open world you have to slowly walk around in.

Avoid this piece of **** if you have any semblance of gaming taste.

Ignore the Ubisoft/Microsoft employees giving this a 10 rating and saying its the best game ever...

If you love grenade spamming enemies that can throw a grenade about 200 metres when you can only throw one about 15 metres

This game definitely started out as a fun 10. That is, until the first expansion. The first expansion was delivered broken, barring progression for a lot of players. The bugs and failure to respond to the bugs has really hurt the experience playing this game. It's gone from something playable to a slog fest. If you like walking around your house picking up pennies, this is the game for you.

I bought the unlimited edition on April 8th I’ve played for 12 hours since then. It is now April 11th and the reason I say it needs to get better is because I tried to take my game back today and GameStop told me I would get $29 for my $128 game. With that said I want to start with I loved division 1, possibly my favorite game of all time if not #1 then top 3 for sure. With that being said I was stupid excited for this game. 12 hours in and I am learning that I am playing Destiny 2 all over again. By that I mean Bungie made D1 and love it hate it, right wrong whatever by the end they had a very solid game (same as division 1) but then they made D2 and it was completely everything that wasn’t D1 and they spent the next year changing everything back to the way it was in D1. I feel like that’s what is going on with the Division 2. Division 1 launched so f’d up even the devs said it sucked. And they worked their ass off over the next 2.5 years earning our trust back...so what do they do? Make a game that’s completely different and completely lazy.

The mod system is a total ball of poop. It’s the lazy mans version of the lazy mans version of the easy to do mod system. Literally you can get hammered drunk run around get some SHD Tech and fully upgrade things. I could teach a monkey to do that. So that’s cool

The enemies in Division 1 were tanks inside a tank...ok they aren’t tanks anymore for the most part but you run into 2+ enemies you better hide because theys gonna kill you. If for some reason they don’t kill you you need to use an “armor kit” to repair your armor not health (because massive is too good for the industry standard of med kit that’s been around for 18r93u59 years) and while doing that you better take cover because it takes a few seconds to apply instead of the way it used to be which was great...also forget about your health box, it’s gone. So that’s cool too

Weapons suck, multiple version of the same weapon, marksman rifles no longer have a zoom feature. It’s either all zoom or hip fire. Also a very cool feature. A lot of guns you get are semi...this is a video game we don’t need a license, give me full auto and an extended mag.

TL;DR - massive did to the Division what Bungie did to destiny. Division 2 it’s a completely different game all together. The mod system is terrible, the weapons are terrible, and the game as a whole if you really like division 1 well the division 2 is trash.

If I could get my money back I would, I actually tried. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YET!!! I have faith in massive to get their head off of wherever it is and fix this **** but **** they messed up worse than any other developer on division 1 now this crap...might be heading back to D2 and filing a report with the BBB

This is a great. Missions are interesting. AI is good and enemies will try and flank you. Requires thought and strategy (cover in most paces is essential or you’ll be taken down quickly). Lots of quests and side missions. Being able to have a stat page to see load out and power is great. Smooth tranisitions from world to missions to cut scenes.

The game feels unpolished and the progress is a pain . The enemys often are unfair and u will have many situations where the enemys will be unfair spawned or overpowered. Sometimes they will frustrate you because they are running and gunning and u cant hit them because the control is unprecisly. Sorry Ubisoft this games is the baddest game i have played since assains creed unity. Its unpolished, frustrating and buggy. The Division 2 might be the most successful project of it's size in recent memory. The sheer amount of content and experiences available is astonishing. The core gameplay loop is significantly improved over The Division 1 and it's clear that Massive not only listened to the player base but took home meaningful lessons and has taken serious steps to understand what truly engages their player-base

Love the game. The Division 2 def. expands on what made the first Division great. I love the new setting and armor mechanics when fighting bosses. I love the specializations added into the game and the focus on end game content so that you continue playing once the story mode is over. I can't wait to see what happens in the future for this game.

Massive may have released the most stable and well-designed MMO ever; very few bugs so far, stable servers, and most importantly: it's shockingly fun to play.
The only negative is the lack of a good over-arching story (it's actively mediocre), but in return the "small" stories, in specific missions, are phenomenal.

The gun-play is superb, there's so much to do there's literally no grind until after the end-game (when grinding for loot to use in PVP is part of the fun), and all the small annoyances that something like Anthem is riddled with have just been dealt with. It's never going to soar the way Anthem does in its finest momentd, but at the moment it's a far superior game, and incredibly satisfying to play. I'd rate it a 10 if the story was better, but I predict I'll be playing this for months to come, maybe years.

The Division 2 may be making a mess on Tom Clancy's grave by betraying his highly conservative values, but what is here is a very competent and polished third-person open-world action game with a big emphasis on co-op. The value in this package is seemingly nigh on endless with the amount of things to do and see. Even the core gameplay loop, though simplistic, is satisfying enough to keep things stimulating, even when they feel monotonous at times. Just when things feel the most tedious, the end game content really mixes things up in a big way to reinvigorate the formula.

For what it’s worth, The Division 2 is a fine game. It’s finely tuned, looks gorgeous in 4K, plays like I would have hoped, and just takes a great idea and improves on it. Co-op is the way to go, and solo players will still have some fun with it, but it will be a more difficult romp. Massive has shown they listened to their fans and wanted to make a game that the players wanted to see and they did just that. It’s a great shooter, great RPG, and well worth the time for anyone looking for a rewarding adventure.

Not only is The Division 2 a solid gaming experience, but it's one that Ubisoft plans to continually support over time. We've already seen the beginning of that support, and there is no indication that it'll let up. Whether you are a solo player or someone ready to jump in with a squad of friends, The Division 2 is a game you don't want to miss.
