    - Get to know the froggy locals and help out where you can.

    - Discover new items by fishing and farming, and concoct simple brews that will change how you traverse the island.

    - Learn from the frogs and put your new skills to the test around the island.

    Trade to fix your boat:

    - Ask around for the items you need, but bear in mind that you might need to do a frog a favor to get what you want.

    - Solve interesting puzzles to get your hands on required items.

    - Try not to get too sidetracked by island life!

    My Time on Frog Island is a charming little puzzle game with hidden depths. Though you end up shipwrecked there, time on the island feels like a vacation as you settle into the peaceful daily routine of the local frogs. It ticks all the boxes for me — quirky characters, a unique, adorable art style, and a fresh take on the usual puzzle genre with little touches of life-sim elements. You can easily while away your time exploring the island, solving puzzles, and discovering little secrets.

    Time on Frog Island has some charm due to its appealing art style and frog NPCs, but Frog Island is not a locale that you want to book a trip to, let alone get shipwrecked at. Most of my time was spent wondering what the characters wanted me to do, and wandering around fetching items for them. There are some interesting mechanics in the game, but none of them are used anywhere close to their fullest extent in the game’s design. Unfortunately, I can’t get any of the time back that I spent on the game, but at least I can warn you to steer clear of this lackluster experience.
