Back to that flat expanse, that seemingly endless sea of rustling cornstalks peppered by rusty silos and rustier towns. A typically intense Midwestern storm is approaching while Kelly is out; she has to get home. In the 20 miles between her grandparents' crumbling barn and her parents' house, she receives a phone call from her mother. Assume the role of Kelly during her drive through the storm in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition. While driving through a stylized representation of rural Nebraska, players navigate an extended conversation between Kelly and her parents and younger brother. Through dialogue choice and simple driving mechanics, this critically-acclaimed visual short story explores a specific moment of these characters' lives and their relationships with one another. The Extended Edition of Three Fourths Home includes an epilogue that expands on the story of the main game. Set at a bus stop in snowy Minnesota, this epilogue examines Kelly's past as well as the effects that the events of the main story have had on her. Expand

A fantastic narrative experience condensed within an hour. The story tackles adulthood, disability, family obligation and depression and crafts them into a real, believable experience. Good luck driving home.

As a short story turned video game, Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition is a unique and interesting experience that deals with deep themes. It is, however, not for everyone, and tends to be a bit plodding at times.

It's more of a narrative experience than a game, and therefore its appeal will be limited among console gamers. If it seems of interest to you, then I certainly encourage you to give it a try, although you may still find the short length of Three Fourths Home to be disappointing. On the whole, though, it's hard to imagine that most gamers won't be dissatisfied after buying and playing this game.

An interesting diversion, but there are definitely ways in which it could have been better.

As a glimpse into the life of a dysfunctional family, Three Fourths Home is a success - but while its dialogue has the ring of truth, its narrative feels slight and incomplete. [Feb 2016, p.80]

The narrative is interesting and as much as I like “experimental” games, this remains a little too shallow in almost every aspect.

A game that has more in common with the Choose Your Own Adventure books than with a traditional videogame. If you can go over that you'll find an interesting but very brief narrative.

É uma experiencia interessante. Apenas joguei pelas conquistas, mas até acabei gostando um pouco no final. É uma pegada bem diferente.

This is no Dear Esther or any other walking sim I have enjoyed. This is just forced play for achievements to at least get something for your money. Sorry, not good in my opinion. This game had no heart or soul. I didn't care about any of these people and I played through giving different answers and still didn't like these people. Pretentious and over rated to the extreme.
