It’s a solid third season for The Walking Dead, but we’ve seen so much better. Cheap plot devices and inconsistent tones in the writing hurt the overall quality of the narrative, and the Telltale Tool continues to show its age in the worst ways. And, for diehard fans, Clementine will still find a way to steal the show from the new cast.

Despite its promising subtitle, there's little new in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier to write home about. A revamped presentation, new characters, and excellent voice acting make it live up to the expectations, but the traditional flaws on the technical side of things and an undeniable stagnation on the narrative one stop it from reaching the greatness of the first season.

Maybe a bit flat compared to previous seasons but still pretty nerve-jangling. [Aug 2017, p.78]

Clementine isn't playable and only gets 10% of the entire screen time. Javier is bland and has a boring story. Episodes are 60 minutes long,Clementine isn't playable and only gets 10% of the entire screen time. Javier is bland and has a boring story. Episodes are 60 minutes long, down from 90 minutes in season 2 and 120-150 minutes in season 1. The writing is atrocious.

If you have any respect for Clementine or Lee, don't buy this game. It destroys everything from the past 2 seasons.

This is an insult and a betrayal to all fans.

This for Episode 1 and 2 and after playing all previous seasons.

The story isn't as strong as Clementine in original story. We as audience associated and related a lot with Clementine and expected the story to continue from where we left. It had a good pace and background. Now feels like starting from a complete new angle and more drama than emotions.

I do see changes in the graphics. It looks like a major upgrade. There are less glitches. I hope the story picks up later on. If it does, I will come back and provide more favourable reviews. Until then. my recommendation would be to wait and watch.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier starts very strong. In the first 2 minutes you are in a room with a "Walker".
Which is very surprising coming from telltale, which always had boring introductions so they later could make a good story.

And this season we are introduced to new characters. And I am glad to say that I were invested in the new characters just as I am with Clementine.

And A new feauture in the game is some kind of "backseat gaming" feauture were you and YOUR friends from a app can decide what to say which make it more fun when my mates were arguing about what to pick.

Graphics is a big improvement since the last season, the characters is more detailed then ever with their new engine.

This is a must buy. And don't worry if you have missed all season's because you can pick diffrent

    *Spoiler alert*

Clementine is now more bad ass than ever!

    Good Work Telltale!
