This little game is crammed to the brim with challenges. You play as Bip, a small square, that's had an issue with being small. After asking one of the tallest squares, how to get taller, Bip is tasked with a challenge so Bip can learn what it is to be tall. The Taller I Grow is unforgiving, in a good way. After gently introducing you to the core concept, it immediately tosses you to the wolves. You complete levels simply by getting to the door, to do this you have to connect to more blocks and become taller and disconnect to become shorter as you navigate the standard array of platforming hazards. A tap of the Y button will bring you back to start, a feature you will use, a lot, as you figure out how to get past each stage. The graphics are designed to look like an old computer monitor, from like an Apple II, complete with the convex of the curved glass screen. The main menu is a desktop, with several icons, some useful, some just for looks. If you're into unforgiving Puzzles, and Platforming, The Taller I Grow delivers both without remorse. Simple, charming, and challenging with a minuscule price tag, Puzzle fans should grab this up! Expand
