    The game has yet to receive a single patch and its menus and controls are -still- utterly glitchy broken and borderline unusable, And EA being EA it probably won't be patched any time soon if ever. Don't waste your money.

    The controls are chaotic, it's unplayable! If you want a real sim on consoles, I recommend the sims 2 on consoles. Why not have direct control as in sims 2 ? Go your way, the controls are void !

Too slow when changing from live mode to build mode,also slow when carrying out tasks takes hours to complete tasks taking up most of the day making it hard to achieve anything. When choosing personality traits the hot headed one is a joke the sim is constantly angry making it hard to form a relationship at home and at work. One sim caught fire and just stood in the fire didn’t extinguish it or anything and no fire truck came,was unable to ring one as the phone didn’t work...Overall the game is a let down and I’d rather play it for free on my iPad. Waste of £40… Expand

    I was super excited for this game, and was disappointed. The graphics and gameplay is the same as the PC version (I think), but I didn’t enjoy it for console. The gameplay is slow and it took to much time to do what should be simple tasks. Another thing is that I experienced multiple glitches within the first hour. The controls are also not great, but that wasn’t a huge issue overall (itI was super excited for this game, and was disappointed.     THE SIMS SHOULD HAVE STOPPED IN THE FAR FAR TIMES OF THE FIRST TWO THE SIMS. NOW UNMEANING AND UNWORKING. PLEASE EA LEARN FROM YOUR COMMUNITY COMMENTS.

    Les précédents « Sims » étaient plus ou moins merdiques mais là, c’est le pompon ! le portage sur consoles PS4One est ici lamentablement bâclé puisque l’interface est héritée directement du PC sans aucun effort d’adaptation, ce qui rend le jeu à la manette atroce !

    Tout est donc mal fait et peu accessible, sans compter que les mécaniques générales de ce quatrième Sims s’avèrent encore plus lourdingues que d’habitude… On se débat avec ce merdier présenté n’importe comment et franchement, ça gave rapidement tellement c’est pénible !

    Il est à noter par ailleurs que les temps de chargement sont assez ignobles pour leur part et que le machin est une énorme usine à DLC (au pluriel !…) de la Worst Company, et que par conséquent le jeu de base se retrouve logiquement limité à la portion congrue : ça manque de contenu, surtout par rapport au 3. De toute façon, le gameplay reste lent et foireux, ce qui rend ce jeu encore plus ennuyeux qu’il ne l’était auparavant : un simulateur de merde et d’ennui !    … Expand

    Un juego aburrido lleno de micropagos de Electronic Arts, lo único que lo salva son los modders de PC y nada más. Mal hecho Electronic basura.

    What makes it really frustrating is that The Sims 4 has so much potential to be great with so many customization options. The game even throws people like me a bone, allowing you to give your Sim clear motivations and emotions, and it tailors the gameplay around that. But, cruelly, it makes doing all those things a massive chore, meaning that unless you really, really like moving your cursor slowly around the screen, you’re not going to get much out of it.

    In short, The Sims 4 on consoles is designed to appeal to fans of the series that may not already have a copy on their PC or don’t have a new enough PC to run it. That leaves a limited audience for this game to those who are not hardcore enough to own it on PC, but interested enough to buy on consoles. Add in the fact that EA made very little effort toward making the execution of the game cater to the console audience (and left a considerable amount of bugs un-patched), one begins to wonder how many copies they actually plan on selling. If you can run this game on your PC, save yourself the headache and enjoy it there. If the console version is your only option and you can overlook the multitude of technical issues, the rest of the game does deliver the Sims goodness for which you laid out your precious simoleons.
