The variety on offer in The Jackbox Party Pack 5 is excellent. While it’s a departure from some of the Jackbox classics – Fibbage, Quiplash, Drawful – it’s a fantastic and inventive range of new titles, all rounded off with another solid entry of the much-loved You Don’t Know Jack.

Overall, the biggest draw for this Jackbox Party Pack is the new You Don't Know Jack and newest gem in Mad Verse City. The other titles are just enjoyable but fall more into an average category instead of the AAA stuff that Jackbox Games normally publishes. If you're a fan of the series, then it's a no-brainer, but if you're not, you may just want to mooch off your friends and play with them.

Mind you, it’s no Fibbage, Survive the Internet, or Tee KO. And that’s why Jackbox Party Pack 5 isn’t quite on par with its predecessors. It’s a solid party game, to be sure, and if you’ve played Packs 2, 3, and 4 as much as I have you’ll be welcoming the new game options, but it’s not quite essential. Then again, “solid Jackbox party game” is still better than pretty much any other party game you could come up with — and for that reason, Jackbox Party Pack 5 is still a worthy addition to the Jackbox canon.

Overall, The Jackbox Party Pack 5 is a great addition to any future party plans, especially for the upcoming festive season. Like all party games, you really need to have a group of people that are up for almost anything, but it does do a wonderful job of encouraging even the shyest of participants to come up with laugh out loud moments. Just be sure to steer clear of Zeeple Dome.

The fifth edition of Jackbox Party Pack brings some notable additions in the forms of Mad Verse City and Patently Stupid. These two can stand up with some of the best from other collections such as Trivia Murder Party and Monster Seeking Monster. The others in this pack don’t feel as good, or in YDKJ’s case, don’t offer anything new. Still, the overall package is good fun for when you have a few friends over.

    The Jackbox Party Pack 5
One of the best party packs of all time
Like every other party pack, party pack 5 comes with 5 games that ar best
    The Jackbox Party Pack 5
One of the best party packs of all time
Like every other party pack, party pack 5 comes with 5 games that ar best played with at the very least 3 people, and you all use your phones instead of contollers. And Party Pack 5 contians probably the best game to date.
Incuded in this package is one of the 2 weaker games, you don’t know jack, blah blah blah boring trivia game im over it, but Jackbox gotta have at least one every pack… then we have the most thought provoking game so far, split the room.. here you come up with conundriums and try to.. you guessed it.. split the room… you don’t want a question with an obvious answer, you want to create dilemmas, and the bigger the crowd the better this game gets.. then we have what is probably my most favorite jack box game since fakin it… made verse city.. youre robots.. sadly you ont get to choose your robot, but none theless you are robots rap battling eachother, and for the firt time ever the game will say what you type, so youll be swapping words and lines and come up with a way to turn different topics into a rap dissing your opponent and everyone around votes on the best, again the more players the better, and I just absolutely love this one, then we have one of the worst jackbox games of all time, zeeple dome.. you fling little dudes around at aliens on your phone.. an attempt at an actual game.. I would’ve preferred the team developed a candlyand like boardgame instead, this aint it… and finally we have patently stupid, you choose a problem another player has, you draw the invention, give a presentation, and other players vote on the best presentation, again the more players the better, it’s a game where you get to draw and those are alwys fun.
Party Pack 5 is a msut have in your jackbox and party game collection, it just is.. even if just for split the room and mad verse city, make sure you pick this one up
I give The JAckbox Party Pack 5
    an 8.5/10

Most of the game’s that are available in the collection are a blast to play and they will keep you coming back for more time and time again. You Don’t Know Jack makes a return and once again it delivers genuinely funny moments that will no doubt make all that are playing laugh out loud. There is plenty of variety and randomness contained in most of the game’s and this gives the collection of game’s replaybilty because no game ever plays out the same way. Each game supports up to six or eight players which means everything about this collection is perfect for family or friends. Zeeple Dome is definitely the worst game in the collection because it just has too many issues that hold it back. The collection of game’s can get repetetive quite quickly if you only play with a couple of people. Overall I absolutely adore The Jackbox Party Pack game’s and for me they are without a doubt the king of party game’s because each game tends to deliver a great amount of fun. Thankfully the new addition The Jackbox Party Pack 5 keeps this trend going and whilst it isn’t the best game the series has seen so far it still ticks the correct boxes. One thing this series is known for is its variety and randomness and once again that’s present in this collection. No game ever plays out the same way which means the replaybility is very high. I would however recommend that you play each game with as many people as you can though because when there’s only a few of you it does get repetetive quite quickly. Something that doesn’t get repetetive no matter how many people play though is the game’s presentation. Both the visuals and sound design have been done extremely well and without a doubt they make the fun factor stand out even more. At the end of the day then The Jackbox Party Pack 5 gets a big recommendation from me and if you were a fan of the previous game’s you will no doubt enjoy what this collection of game’s has to offer.
