Jul 14, 2016While I struggled with the controls a bit, and the change of difficulty was a bit frustrating, I was not left disappointed by my return to Borgovia. With a great story, a quirky cast of characters, tons of quests, and awesome Easter eggs, there is much fun to be had with high replay value.

Jul 22, 2016Compared to Van Helsing’s first console adventure this is a step in the right direction. Nonetheless I still don’t understand why Neocore keeps on porting the entertaining, but faulty hack&slays one by one, while they have a Final Cut waiting in the wings.

Jul 12, 2016It is solid, entertaining, and most importantly fun, if you can get past its issues.

Jul 8, 2016Although The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II doesn’t look as sharp, it certainly delivers more than enough entertaining content for the price of entry. Fans of ARPGs who enjoy micromanaging can’t go wrong with this title, but its lack of deep tutorials might make it difficult to jump into for gamers who aren’t already familiar with the genre.

Jul 6, 2016This game is worthy of a purchase for both fans of the series and newcomers to it like myself. If you find Dark Souls your bread and butter, and you've been looking for a top-down experience similar to that, give this game a go. If you find yourself easily enraged by games where the difficulty is wildly unbalanced, give this one a skip.

Jul 4, 2016It’s no good having a game which does so much so well, only to keep it hidden beneath layers of obfuscation. With a little more time spent teaching the player how it all works, this could have been an awesome experience.

Sep 13, 2016The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II offers mildly engaging but ultimately underwhelming entertainment. Hardcore fans of the genre who simply can’t get enough of hacking and slashing through fantasy worlds will probably get their money’s worth, but the rest should wait for the game to appear under Games for Gold program like the first part.

Jul 13, 2016Fans of the genre might be able to enjoy Van Helsing's latest adventure through the city of Borgovia and its surrounding areas, but only if they have the patience to wade through its many problems.

Jul 9, 2016There’s a solid experience to be had underneath it all if you really, really want to find it, but unfortunately I feel that most people won’t have the patience nor inclination to bother. There are plenty more titles out there offering a much better experience of what Van Helsing attempts.
